Pretty awesome band. They've got a very unique sound. Wikipedia says "..music is notable for its combination of saccharine pop and experimental elements..." And I have no idea what that means but if it helps you okay. What drew me to them was that they're cited as influences for two of my favorite bands, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone and Los Campesinos! so if you like either, check them out. A Song for Ellie Greenwich is just an overall awesome song, it's very fun in a kind of dark way.

Uh, they seem interesting in a twisted borderline disturbing kind of way.

I think I will be giving them a miss to be honest Mistyface, they make my ears feel odd D8

d'aww, they really are a good band. Some of their songs are a bit creepy, though, and I can understand why you wouldn't like them. Most of the stuff I recommended in here was from the album Entanglements, which is pretty dark stuff, but Safe As Houses has a lot more fun stuff, like I Was the Dancer.

But whatever haha, do what you like.
