You missed the entire point of +44, sir. It was anger, not depression. And most songs in Neighborhoods were not about growing up..... I can't even think of one.
So just because the point was anger, I can't find it depressing. Also, alot of the songs were extremely sad, and verging on suicidal. And Neighborhoods was about learning from their mistakes of the past and moving forward to something new, moving forward together.
