Kingdom Hearts II pain is an emotion. So why do they feel it

I know this is weird and that you are gone hate me for this, but how the hell could the organization members feel pain. I mean no heart, no emotion, no pain.

 

Maybe they are not feeling it, maybe that is what they remember that certain feeling. But not really feel it themselves.

 

Now, that my friend, is what we call a plot hole.

If only the keyblade can release captive hearts from heartless, then how do Leon, Yuffie, Cloud, & Tifa release captive hearts from heartless without a keyblade?

Plot hole'd.

It's just stuff we are supposed to ignore really.

 

Emotional pain is different from Physical pain.

Know the difference. XD

Pain is an emotion. Your body feels it and your mind reacts. How is that not an emotion?

And also, emotion that isn't 'physical' can also bring you physical injuries, without doing anything. Such as strokes.

But, that is in real life, not a game. So it probably doesn't apply to KH.

 

So, all sensation and everything is an emotion because our mind reacts to everything? Plus, strokes aren't emotions.

Physical pain=/=emotion. Besides, all the Organization members seem to have emotion.

 

Emotional stress can result in a stroke. Lol.

 

Because emotion requires cognitive processing. Feeling pain is simply a nerve reaction that's sent to your brain. It's a defense mechanism designed for survival and adaptation, it has nothing to do with how people feel as there is no elaborate cognitive process behind it. It's much how you immediately take your hand off a hot stove; you don't think about it, you just do it. Much how pain sensors are sent to the brain. You don't think about it; your body just tells you that some part of your body is being injured and that you should do something about it.

 

As the others said, pain isn't an emotion, it's a physical feeling, so that's not really a plot hole.
