So I decided to go to this section again~
    I haven't been drawing a lot lately...
but I got bored in music class (lol sorry) and I came up with this.

{It's cropped, because Robin was trolling in the bottom of the page looking funny. Heehee.
    Also, my scanner dislikes me ;__;}

It's just some random girl, in my sketchbook today.
My friend liked it though, and asked if I could name her Lax (after herself) and so I did.
/insert APA format for Lax's idea and name here/
    Um... CnC please? c:

Eyes are very big. Her left eye is also larger than her right.

I'm a bit torn on the hair. I think you made the hair strands themselves look nice, like real hair. My problem with it is that it looks too large for her, if that makes sense. Also, the way you've drawn her hair connecting to her head would make her head impossibly large...

But overall, it's a pretty nice drawing. (Nicer than what we usually see here, anyway...)

I've been struggling on the eyes, never been good at faces straight on :c
I've also always had a problem with totally exact proportions, especially on heads. Gah. I tend to make hair rather, as mentioned, big. haha.
Thank you so much for pointing everything out! I'll try and work on those things on the future pieces ~ n___n Thanks a bajillion once again c:

-dinamplified I want your skills. I love the strands of Lax's hair, it looks real, I don't think the head/face needs to be bigger but that's my personal opinion. I love the eyes aswell, even though one is bigger then the other. I'm no good at proportions so I can't really judge but overall good job. c: Keep practicing I'm sure you'll be perfect soon.

I wish I was able to draw hair like such. One eye is bigger than the other but, thats all I see wrong with this picture. The rest is wonderfully drawn with skill, great work!

Her hair is just...fantastic, although it might be just a bit big, considering she's not tilting her head down or anything, but it's wonderful. Her face is so prettily shaped and her eyes are just so shiny, although one is a bit bigger than the other. Her neck is awesome, and you did a great job on the collar bones. I really like this, you're a fantastic drawer and I wish I had your skills. :<

    That is just wow :]
Again, like everybody else said the hair connecting to the head is a bit off. I didn't notice it alot myself but the more you look at it the more you see it.

Did you use some of the techniques on the video I showed you?

Anyway, what I would suggest is to smudge the hair, then make some lines of hair, smudge, and make streaks of lines with an eraser.
^That's only if you want the hair to look...I dunno, realist-ish. If you're going for the toon look, aight.

I suck at explaining things lol.

Aww, thanks so much n___n I'm glad you like it :''D
But yeah, I'll keep practicing~ Thanks for the words :3 /huggles
Oh thank you! I practiced a lot with the hair lately, haha~
Yeah, that seems to be my problem a lot. Head facing directly forward, head/hair line titled down. Gah D:
Thank you so much Saxima! c: Heehee. I like colarbones 8D butgah, don't want my skills seriously D:
    Aww, thank you c:
I guess so, since I didn't see it first myself. Next time, I'll be sure to get a good look at it before scanning it. Haha!
I actually did! Thank you so much for the video! :'D It helped heaps.
I was going to mention you on the first post but I kind of forgot who showed it to me D: BUT NOW I KNOW FOREVER.

Oh and, yeah. I need the smudge-er/blender thing /lolshot
I lost my last one and keep forgetting to get a new one. Though, that is something I'm battling on. If I want to keep drawing hair like this or not. Since I reckon I'm more on the manga-ish style. lol i don't know.
and it's okay! I'm nothing better at explaining things. You do a fine job! xD

    Smudge-er/blender thing? Haha

Whenever I feel like smudging, I use my thumb : P. It helps a lot if you are sweaty, that way smudging with your hands haves better outcomes. *shot* True for me tho.

lolyeah! That... that white pen thing. Thing. yeah. Ohgsh, this is bad. Haha.
I use my sweater sometimes, it works very very well too. But then the ends of my sweaters get all gross and lead-stained so I'm not too cool with that. I'll try the thumb method, i'll just bring rubbing alcohol or something. I think I'll try TP too since I read about that somewhere x)

At first I looked at this and thought that the hair is too big for her head but then I kept looking at it and started to like it more and more. The way it was drawn is very nice. Just detailed enough, not overdone. And I like the eyes. It is very animated looking.

I like the perspective you used on your picture. The shading is very well done and the hair looks very real. Good work. ^^
