I did a little quick sketch while I was packing during a break I took. The sketch itself took about 10 minutes, and I wish I had scanned the sketch cause I liked it better. But then, I decided to colour it using markers instead of water colour so I don't deprive my time for packing and other important things. Inspired by my current avatar, this is my OC Mint all dolled up as a skeleton ~ Critique, Opinions, etc are all appreciated ! Spoiler bigger version found here . And yes, I'm finished with packing 8D
Wow, for only 10 minutes, that's really good dear. Kudos. I love it. I think it came out great even if it's just with marker. And it looks fine colored in although I am curious about the simple sketch. Good job regardless. You're so talented.
Oh wow, I absolutely adore the contrast of the bright colours of her hair with the darker, more subtle purples and browns- the effect it gives off is just so satisfying to look at. You have the creases and shading spot on and, although the skeleton thing is a little freaky, it is still so cool. My main problem with it is I feel her eyes are a little too far down her head but a part from that I can't really fault it. Keep up the good work Dinny, I love your pieces!
The colouring took about 20 minutes xD I really wish I had scanned the sketch first... fuuuu packing ahaha, thank you so much my darling Chex ; u ; <333 I actually forgot how to do her hair and I got really confused while I coloured xD But I'm pretty sure this comes close. I remember sighing because I blamed my little 13 or 14 year old self for making her have so much colour in her hair HAHA I've been off about her face and I think you're just about right with the eyes. I absolutely adore it. You are amazing at coloring and shading, the amount of detail that went into everything (especially that little effect on the bottom) are just beautiful and it looks pretty realistic. Why is your stuff always so amazing?
Oh my thank you so much Cat! c: It looked really plain at first so that's how the weird little blots and blobs came about at the bottom. I was scared with the shading cause I feel like I hadn't done it enough, but I'm glad you find that it turned out okay~ But gah, it's not all that amazing, I promise you but thank you as always ; u ; <3
