Is what my comp keeps saying, and after a certain time my computer will kick me off the internet.. I don't know what to do to stop it.

We have broadband which can only go up to a certain time, then goes to dail up speed so it saves us money. I've been thinking that its all the youtube we watch or its me downloading songs

    Is it these things?

I'm no expert, but I'd guess it's probably because you've downloaded too much stuff. Delete stuff you don't need or don't use at all. I mean TOTALLY delete, which means from your recycling bin, too.

I think it means you're running too many programs at once.

What Amby said. It usually happens if you're running too many programs at once.

Here's a link that may help you understand more about the problem:

Virtual memory isn't your storage space... it's basically telling you your RAM can't handle a program or you're running too many programs at once. To prevent that error, disable programs at startup that you don't need running on your computer. There's also the option of buying more RAM but it can get costly...

windows OS itself takes up RAM as well, for XP, I would suggest 2 gigs of ram minimal, for Vista, I wouldnt try to run it without a minimum of 4gigs of DDR2 RAM If your able to have more than that, then go for it, but thats the lowest I would use(unfortunatly most people that dont know much about their comps are running 512-750mb RAM...lol
