Digital Art Out of bordom...

I made this (i already know it sucks so any suggestins?)

 

I like it!

 

- change font & colour and position. usually with signatures, the best way to make your text show but not overshow, is to put it in the middle or the middle of the side. o_O if you got that. Never put your text on the side. xD
Long text anyway.

- the render isn't that good, when you use a render, pick a really good quality and big one, so you can control how big or small it is. Try using big pictures, instead of body shots.

-the background is plain and has only 2 colours, that are too neutral. Use some more effects, like clouding with different colours then making the layers screen.

Try this: Pick black and one colour, cloud. Then do it again with black and a different colour except do this after: screen, 70% ocapacity. It will look good.

^If your using GIMP I don't know if that works ><

Try putting stars on it. Sorry if you use GIMP because I use PS7: Filter>>Texture>>Grain>>sprinkle 1

or you an do this. new layer with black. another layer with white. Make white Dissolve 1% fill. Merge those two layers. You have stars.

 

Change the font, get a better render, and add Gradient Maps.

 

ok thanks alot like i said i was bored so i didnt put as much time in it as i would usaully so thats why its like that and wen i got the render it looked pretty good until i did the colorize but it looked pretty good ah well i wasnt really trying

Its ok, I think if you added some foreground it would look better. Add a clipping mask or two to the bottom. And smudge it to add depth. Also add some lighting and Gradient Maps to give it flow. Its more plain if anything.

 

It's pretty gd for a quicky. I'd suggest a change in the renders and possibly the background. Try to blend Riku into the background and same goes for the text. Other than that, its good.

 

It's cool. Make the text a little more readable though.
