Aw, I missed the SOTW ;__; Anyway, here's my Halloween sig. Edit: Oh yes, the render. http://planetrenders.net/renders/di...alloweensig3.png[/IMG]
Whoa,.. thats quite disturbing xD I'm not sure about the writing.. it feels a little out of place.. somehow.. the graphics are cool though :3
Thank you, I think that it could have done with the text in a straight line going along the bottom ._. Too late to change it now D: I can't take it apart ;__;
That...looks...incredible! WOW! The only thing wrong with it is the words. It's unneeded. The detail ids great. Keep jup the goood work.
That is very awesome. The text is the problem. You should turned it the other way around, or not put it instead.
Thanks guys ^^ I'm going to see if I can make it a little less noticable, it's too late to get rid of it now :/ Edit: V.2 (Arm not very visible :/ V.3 (Little more visible)
Over on the right, the paw, id take a soft erase brush around the sides to blend it better, maybe add a brightness/contrast layer and a color balance layer. The purple on green works, but i think some other color layers could make it better.
Yes, the contrast between purple and green isn't the best. Originally the background was meant to be more of a blue, but I changed it to green because of the text :/ Now that I have other versions, it looks a wee bit silly, doesn't it. Yes, I made versions without text. I know the render is huge, I wanted it to be so. Maybe it does look a little out of place XD Thank you, I prefer version 3 because the arm is there. Version 2 to me looks a little...strange.
the one you have on your sig now is excellent and shows a mig of fury and determination... well done miss!
Heres some edits I made: 1) Desaturated render, added multiple color layers, and did filter render clouds to erase random parts 2) Notice the lighting on the render, added a light source and spruced it up with filter render lightingsources 3) Blurred choppy edges of render 4)Burned sides away from light source This all blends the render in a bit more, and takes into account a huge part of sigs, lighting. Hope this helps for the next ones you do.
I love your version so much more D: How do you add multiple color layers on GIMP? I know how to make layers, but not really what you are trying to say. Can you explain it a wee bit to me?
I dont know gimp myself, but i know there are alot of gimp resources out there you should check out. I still use photoshop resources 5 years later.
I think in GIMP if I can remember...... Filter>Color>Map>Gradient Map Do that on a new layer and play with the adjustment layers and opacity. I haven't used GIMP in so long but I think that is correct.
