The oldest of the twins sat up, his eyes half open. "What this guy is dull as mud," he murmered to her causing the class to stare at them. Hikaru gave them each a death glare making them turn back around and pay attention to the teacher. Now even more bored, he sighed outloud calling attention to himself once again. Deciding it was now or never, he rose his hand and stood up. "Excuse me, but you're putting me to sleep here. I can hardly hear you because you are mumbling. Can you make the lesson somewhat interesting instead of repeating dates that I'm going to forget anyway? I would think the whole class would agree with me on that."

Kaoru was the first to rise to his feet and called attention to himself also. "We don't need to make any waves, but this whole teaching method of yours is stupid, stupid, stupid," he pointed at the rest of the class mates except for the girls. "I could learn more from reading a book than having to listen to someone I can barely hear." Kaoru grinned likewise Hikaru, the devilish gleam in thier eyes.

Haruhi's eyes widened at the boy's rude comments. "Stop that!" she hissed, worried that they would hurt the teacher's feelings and get in trouble. She tugged at Kaoru's sleeve, encouraging him to sit back down. "if that's what you think then go to sleep and read about it later." she added, feeling bad for the instructor.

Hikaru shrugged his shoulders not caring what she thought of thier display. "What? I was only being honest. Geez..." he shook his head in disbelief. Haruhi had a right to be upset, but he didn't think she would announce it to the whole class. She was firecraker and wasn't afraid to speak her feelings just like him. He could see the comparsion and more he thought of it, the happier he became.

Kaoru pulled back a bit for her to let go of his sleeve. He didn't know she would embarrass herself just as they did, but in the end he got to see what struck a cord with her. "You can let go of my sleeve," he reminded her.

"Come on you kidder. Let go," he thought the gesture was a joke. Kaoru tugged on his sleeve again for her to let go that caused all of the classmates to direct their attention towards them which brought about a few of them teasing Kaoru with thier singing and mocking kissy noices. Kaoru was humilated, his face turned pink from blushing so hard and his temper began to surface. He couldn't let this go on any longer. "Haruhi, people are looking so let go already." His persistent voice had become cross until he had enough. "I said let go!" Pulling so hard, the desks and chair he was sitting in wobbled and fell over to the right with Kaoru on his side trapped underneath his desk and Haruhi's desk that got drug down by the extension of his left leg. "Ow, my arm. My leg," he moaned clearly in pain as he attemped to move the sedatary objects off of him.

Hikaru gasped and tripped when he got out of his seat falling onto Haruhi, the young brunette. He mangaged to crawl out from a very awkward position that was his lower chest and adominal area being forced onto by her head from the fall. Hikaru blushed himself for few seconds staggered past her and kneeled to his brother's side before anyone could respond. Seizing his younger's brother's hand he held it in his clenched hands. "Kaoru! Are you all right?" Fearing the worst, Hikaru had to act fast. With what seemed like his brother was maimed he frantically attempted to lift the desks off of Kaoru. Hikaru had to admit he needed help and the only one on his mind to assist him was her. Thinking twice about the embarrasing display of her on him, he pushed that thought to the side and would discuss it later with her so she wouldn't think he did it on purpose to have her onto his body. "Haruhi, forget what happened with me falling on you. Help me!" He yelled to her in desperation. "Kaoru hold on!" Glaring at the rest of the class especially for their childish behavior towards his brother and the teacher he didn't say a word to them for his eyes were menacing enough to reveal what he thought of everyone involved at that moment.

Haruhi had the breath knocked out of her as Hikaru's body hit her's; for a moment she was angry at the awkward situation but as soon as he got off of her she saw she had to help Kaoru. She was vaugely aware of Hikaru asking for help but she was helping him to lift the desk. "Kaoru, where does it hurt? Can you move?" she asked in an attempt to make sure he hadn't broken anything, "Hikaru get one of his arms, I'll get the other and we'll get him to the nurse." she ordered, her tone indicating she was not going to argue or talk about it. Haruhi's eyes fell on the instructor, at the same moment apologetic and stern. "Excuse us, we need to help Kaoru to the nurse's office." she explain, as if the man had not seen the whole ordeal. Thanks for helping your student... she sarcasticly thought.

Hikaru shook his head knowing that was a bad idea. "No!" He pointed at her, his finger shaking with fear. "I needed your help with the desks. I'm not going to drag him by his arms. That's a bad idea and you know it. We might make his injuries worse if we did it your way," he hissed clearly taking his anger out on her. Not that he didn't mean to, but with the scenario so terrifying he said what was on his mind at that moment.

Kaoru moaned and groaned as the pain intenisfied the moment the desks were off of him. "I'm having... trouble breathing," he held his chest with his right hand and leaned his head back, hoping the oxygen would fill his lungs if he stayed in a sitting up posture. "Can't... breathe," gasps of air and wheezing was heard with each syallable.

Hikaru was horrified that his brother's face was placid and all movment had escaped from him. His brother was limp as a rag doll not able to muster the strength to move. "He can't breathe!" Hikaru paniced not trying to get emotional, but in the end his emotions came out. "He needs oxygen!" The older twin glared dangerously at Haruhi. "If you want to help then run to the medical area and let them know I'm coming and that they better have oxygen." Using his body like a make shift carrier, Hikaru gathered the strength to pick up his brother carefully and transfer him into his arms where he practically flew past Haruhi and out the door as if the classroom was on fire.

OOC: Alright. I've got some time tonight. This week should be my last week of physical theropy (so that'll clear up some time). The only thing I've got to worry about is my Glee (NOT the TV show) audition on the 19th and studying for finals next week. Recap? Please with sugar coated bunny candies on top!

(OOC: Oh you bet. Love the words you used by the way. All you need to know is that it's now Satuday and everyone is in class. Haruhi, Hikaru and Kaoru are in history together, the teacher was boring the hell out of everyone in that class, Hikaru said what was on his mind as usual, Kaoru agreed and put his two cents in. Haruhi feeling ashamed for the teacher grabs Kaoru by the sleeve and doesn't let go when he tells her to. This results in him yanking his sleeve tipping over his desk and hers that fall on him thus he's injured. Hikaru panics for the safety and well being of his brother, accidently trips and falls onto Haruhi where thier bodies both collide almost knocking the wind out of her. He gets past her and she helps him move the desks off of Kaoru who is having trouble breathing. Hikaru goes into a frenzy to get his brother to saftey and yells at the top of his lungs at her for her suggestion of them literally dragging Kaoru to the nurses office by having her grab one of Kaoru's arms and Hikaru grabbing the other one. So Hikaru races out the door carrying Kaoru in his arms and is racing down the hall which would get the attention of other people in the classrooms I would assume. Also note there was a lot of shouting going on as well. I hope this helped.)

"Hikaru... I..." he coughed for Kaoru felt like he was to black out any moment. No relief would come to the pain he was experiencing and the only thing he thought about was why did this have to happen? Why did she not let go after he told her over and over again to? This was partically her fault so she would be held responsiable if something did happen to him.

Hikaru as one would say how fast the dove flies didn't care who or what was in his way. He had to get his twin what he needed. In his mind it was life or death. A lot of commotion was stirring outside as the class mates from different years stood like zombies wondering what was happening? He could hear the gossiping and rumors begining to circuit already. The news would spread like wild fire and their would be a huge blow to his ego especially if something terrible did happen. Now was not the time, to worry about his image, his brother's life was literally on the line. "Get the hell out of my way!" He hollered at those that stood in the way wondering what was happening. "Move or else!" He showed his fist, daggers in his eyes for those who were blocking his path in the corridors on the way to the nurse's office.

OOC: My please was Hunny inspired. lol =) Yeah, that was a good recap. I might go back and read what I missed some time, but I don't think I will be able to any time soon. Now let's see... what can my creative little brain think of....?

BIC: Tamaki stared blankly at the chalk board as his class progressed very boringly. He was antsy to get to the Host Club and tell the other Hosts all about his plan for Hiromi. He thought it was one of his best plans yet. (Kyouya probably thought it was the most expensive plan yet.) He wasn't exactly waiting to see the other Host's reactions, just excited to get on with the plan.
Since there wasn't much note-taking going on and he didn't really want to pay attention, Tamaki decided to doodle out his plans on the paper he would have used for notes. First, he drew six horses (though to anyone else they would look more like oversized dog-giraffes). Then he drew each Host on a seperate horse, all of them wearing shiny suits of armor (they looked like robots). Tamaki spent the next few minutes drawing a sun with glasses and clouds with smiles. Once he felt his scenery was well enough, completed with the rose bushes and fountain of Ouran, he drew in Hiromi (who looked more like the ugly-duckling version of Ariel). He had her facing the horses with a thought bubble that had a question mark in it. He thought it was a very good drawing.

Hiromi sat in her desk, taking very diligent notes. She needed to keep her grades up if she was going to continue her stay at Ouran. She needed to see her father smile when he saw how well she was doing. And see needed to keep her mind focused on something other than the fact that he father didn't come home from work the last night.
What could he have been doing that kept him there all night long? I understand that the work he does is important and gets us money, but couldnt' he have come home for just a little bit? Just to see me? She frowned at the thought. Now was not the time to be worrying about other things. Summer vacation was coming up and that meant tests were coming up too. Summer vacation was fun and all, but she could get excited over that once she'd finished her exams. First things first.

Haruhi klenched her fists and ran after Hikaru. She knew he was reacting explosivly because he was worried for Kaoru but he wasn't thinking straight. "I only meant we'd support him under his arms and help him walk, not drag him. But fine! Carry him alone." she spoke aloud to herself, following in his wake. It wasn't as if she'd meant to get them hurt, but Kaoru didn't give her time to let go while they were making fools of the teacher. She bit her lip, knowing depsite any reasons she gave herself, most of her was screaming 'it's your fault' at her. please be okay Kaoru... she thought, turning down the corridor after the twins

Hikaru kicked open a door with his left foot, the rapid twitching of his muscles was making his body tense therefore he nearly stumbled and dropped Kaoru out of his arms. "I need a doctor!" He panted feeling uneasy from sprinting the whole way. A gurney was rolled out before him, where he placed Kaoru down gentely upon it and followed as an iv was inserted in his brother's arm and an oxygen mask placed over the nose and mouth area. "Kaoru..." Hikaru watched helplessly as the doctors and nurses did what they could to save one of the students.

Kaoru screamed out from more pain that he felt causing him to almost fall of the gurney. "Hikaru!" Like a helpless child, Kaoru extended his arm out to his older brother. "Don't let them take me away." He groaned and fought aganist the doctors surrounding him, his every breath becoming weaker

"Kaoru!" Hikaru held his brother down so he wouldn't hurt himself. "They're trying to help you and I'm not going anywhere," tears streamed down his face and dripped under his chin falling onto Kaoru. His sadness turned to anger when one of the doctors approached him and told him what the procedure would be. "No! I'm not leaving him. You do what you have to do right here." He vaguely listened to a nurse informing him that his parents were notified and that no decision could be made without a parent's consent due to the fact that Hikaru was not of age yet. "I don't care! Just do what you can to save him," he kneeled below and cried onto his own shoulder for he was feeling weak also. The stress, the extertion was to much and fatigue was striking him like a hammer.

Haruhi ran in after the twins. A nurse told her she had to leave but she stood her ground and coldly informed the woman that she was staying. Without waiting for a responce she went to Hikaru and Kaoru's side. "Hikaru, he's going to be okay..." she said sofly, touching his shoulder. "He may have broken something, but I promise he's okay." she immediatly pulled her hand back, though, realizing he was probably still furious at her.

Hikaru whom was told by one of the nurses that his parents were almost to the school, only gave her a cold stare. He was numb not able to reply and the only thing on his mind was Kaoru and what his mother and father would face when they came through the doors. Haruhi was helping, but to him her assistance was bringing him closer to passing out. He had to be strong for his brother and even though he could tell himself that he was about to collapse, the older brother held his emotions together. She had already seen him cry and had touched his shoulder in a way to comfort him, but never in his wildest dreams he would want her to feel sorry for him. Hikaru thought of himself being pathetic before her eyes and that was unacceptable. He had lost control and felt helpless before the doctors, but there was no way he was going to lose his self respect too if he could help it.

Kaoru leaned up to try to comfort Hikaru and show him that he was all right. He was feeling much better now after the oxygen was helping him get his breath. He was more worried that the splitting visage of himself would lose control. "Hey... listen to me Hikaru." Kaoru for the first time since the incident revealed a sad smile. "I'll be okay. They're probably going to perform some tests. It was partically my fault for tugging my arm away so forcefully. Don't hate her because of this. We're both to blame. All of us will learn from this lesson and move on from that." Clenching his teeth from the aching, burning sensation of his chest where the physicans were checking and ordering some medical test, his eyes caught hers as well. "Be there for him will you?" Kaoru's head hit the pillow as the drug that had been given to him along with the iv was putting him in a twilight state.

"Kaoru? Kaoru... Kaoru! No! Don't do this. Stay with me," Hikaru held tighter onto his hand crying once more. "I'm nothing without you. You can't leave me like this!" His voice to everyone in the room increased in range like a desperate cry of anguish. "I'm not leaving his side. Not until he is better. I don't care if both my parents show up. I don't care if the whole school shows up. I'm his twin and we can never be seperated; not like this. So back the hell off!"

Haruhi rubbed her forehead, trying to think of a way to help Hikaru, who was way overly stressed by this. She turned away from him breifly to look at the nurses. "Just let him be, he's not going to hurt anything." she informed them, standing straight and crossing her arms defensivly. Although Haruhi was, admittedly, the shortest in the room, her aura was one of power. The nurses and doctors exchanged looks but let the three alone to wait for the twin's parents. As soon as the adults backed off, she turned back to Hikaru and leaned on the edge of the bed, watching both his worried eyes and his brother's unconcious face. "Hikaru, sit down, okay?" she gently asked, pulling a chair over to be right next to Kaoru. "If we're going to be here, you can't go tiring yourself out too much." she added, trying to smile at him.

The doctors were still waiting for the arrival of the Hitachiins for no tests could be administered without their consent. It seemed like waiting for an enternity, but at least Kaoru was in good hands. Haruhi had not left Hikaru's side so he appreciated that she cared about both of the twins. Hikaru opened his mouth to say thank you, but no words were exchanged. Instead he sat where Haruhi gestured and leaned forward covering his face with his cupped hands. It was unbearable to see his twin not moving a muscle, but at least he got to see the chest rise up and down which meant oxygen was flowing through the lungs. After staying like that for a minute or two, his clammy hands dripped with the warm tears that he had been falling. Shaking his hands, he whiped them the best he could on his pants before reaching over for a kleenex to remove the excess. Red tinged lines were seen just under his eyes from crying so hard and he fell forward on the bed next to Kaoru where he blanked out from exhaustion for a minute or two. Now with part of his body on the bed and his face next to his brother's he was contorted as more tears fell on his brother's face.

Haruhi gasped as Hikaru fell foward. She made a move to pull him back up but her hands stopped to hover right over his shoulders as she noticed he was crying and looking at his brother. Biting her lower lip she let her hands fall to his back but didn't move him. Haruhi didn't notice it, but her hands shook slightly on Hikaru's back and her whole body was tensed, as though she was ready to jump at the slightest sound.

Yuzuha rushed into the nurses office clutching her cell phone in her hand. "Where are my sons?" she demanded of the doctor. Her husband was on a buisness trip across the ocean in California but he had been called and was on his way back on a plane even as she entered the school. Yuzuha saw a glimpse of her boy's through the neighboring door and pushed passed the nurses in front of her. "Hikaru, Kaoru?" she was immediatly at their sides. "Oh, who are you?" she asked, not exactly kindly to Haruhi.

Haruhi's hands snapped to her side and she nearly fell backwards away from the twin's mother. "I'm Haruhi." she answered quickly, her hands coming together and bowing respectfully to the woman. "Excuse me, Kaoru asked me to stay with Hikaru." she explained.

"Ah... yes you are their friend." Yuzuha frowned slightly, looking over the girl in boy's clothing. She was sure the twins had mentioned their friend to be a girl but... she threw off the thought, not caring enough at the moment to worry about it. "Stay if you wish." she added, unusually curt as she already was turned to the doctor. "I want my son at the hospital." she informed the man.

Hikaru felt the gentle touch on his shoulders and for a mintue it seemed to help make the emotional pain fade. He turned around moments afterwards to hear his mother's voice. Getting up from his awkard postion earlier, he stretched his arms to get out any of the kinks before leaning his head onto his mother's chest seeking comfort. He felt lost without Kaoru, and the conversation he had heard from Haruhi and her was nerve wrecking. "Mother I'm riding with Kaoru and don't tell me I can't because I will fight you tooth and nail over it."

Kaoru was coming out of his twilight state only to see his mother now there. He tried to lean up, but decided against it due to the pain he still felt. "What's going on? Where are they taking me?" He demanded as Hikaru climbed onto the gourney to ride with his brother to a helicopter waiting outside that would get them to the hospital faster than an ambulance could. Hikaru made sure to carefully avoid injuring himself or his brother while the paramedics burst through the doors and wheeled the gourney down the hall.

Yuzuha hugged her son tightly. "of course you're going with him, darling." she assured Hikaru before letting him get in with his brother. "Kaoru we're taking you to the hospital, you'll be alright." she gently stroked her younger son's cheek while he was wheeled down to the helicopter.

Haruhi stood in the door way watching the family leave. She felt alittle lost as the room emptied. Naturally it wasn't her place to leave with them, but she felt she had to be there anyways. So after a moment in thought and glancing at the clock, she made a judgment call on the time (school would be over soon anyways) and hurried out of the building to find her way to the hospital by foot. It wasn't all that far, she reasoned, and Kaoru told her to help his brother.

The youngest twin, held his mother's hand then let go, crying softly for a lot of fears were surfacing in his mind. "I still can't believe this is happening to me?" Kaoru remained tense, but was relieved at the sight of his twin brother next to him. He nuzzled close to him, and glanced at the other students and their facial expressions. The whole incident would be in the newspaper for sure and he would have to answer all of the nagging questions and relive the whole experience numerous times.

"Yeah I can't believe it myself. Way to get attention," Hikaru smiled at his twin. "Of course I would of acheived that in a different way." He hoped his form of humor would put Kaoru's mind at ease especially at the way, the paramedics had transported them in the helicopter. It was a whole new experience, one with fear and curiosity. Hikaru retained his outside surroundings of the noices from the intercoms to the paramedics asking his mother lots of health questions concerning his brother. Just as they had taken off in the helicopter, it had landed within twenty minutes. Once again, a group of trained medical personal were swarming them, while the gurney was wheeled into the emergency section of the hospital. Hikaru grew agitated, and extremely protective wondering what sort of "tests" his brother would be subjected to and which ones his mother would approve of. No matter what they were, Hikaru swore not to leave the side of his twin. If these tests had to be done, he would be in the same room. Hell would freeze over before he ever left his twin.

Yuzuha watched her sons talk and comfort each other as they took off in the helecopter. Having gotten the full story from the doctors and watching him being able to talk, she sighed softly to herself. When she'd gotten the call at work she was terrified but now, having Hikaru and Kaoru talking next to her, she could think straight. Broken ribs, a little internal bleeding, broken leg... let that be all. she silently prayed, knowing he may be hurt further but his ability to talk indicated he wasn't.

Haruhi saw a helecopter fly over her head towards the hospital and sped up. Normally this show of doing something the expensive way instead of the normal way (helecopter verus driving) would annoy her, but for once she was glad they could afford a faster ride.
