Organization XIII's Winter Life

Luxord walked in wearing a sweater and a santa hat. He was holding a tray of mugs and walked towards Axel and Roxas. "You two wants some hot coco?" He asked "Superior wants me to give them out..."

 

"Oh, um... thank you Luxord..." Roxas said, picking up a mug. He sipped a bit of the hot coco, feeling a bit better from the cold he thought he was sure to get. He then awaited Axel's answer to his question.

 

"Winter is cold but its nice y'know?" Luxord said, setting down the tray. "Its a time that bring people together"

 

Axel was about to answer Roxas' question until Luxord interrupted, offering hot cocoa. He was surpised that the Superior, of all people, would actually hand out such offerings, unless their leader was on...christmas spirits. He hesitated a little on the drink, watching Roxas take his quickly, as he didn't need it (he was warm), but he knew it tasted good. Shrugging, he took one in his hands as well, his tastebuds winning, and gave a short nod to Luxord. "Yeah, thanks, Lux..." He then turned his attention back to Roxas, knowing he was waiting for a full answer.

Axel was silent for a moment, as he went back to his unNobody past, and began replying to the younger male as his memories seeped in, "Well...people do alot of things, other than bringing other people together as Luxord said. Some go ice skating, some go snowboarding, they ski, they go sledding, which is fun, especially the steeper the hill is, um...there are snowball fights, you can make snow angels, some go shopping for presents and decorations, of course, christmas trees. In the end, people celebrate by having dinner with family and friends, who some come from far away to share the moment with...or a party, if they're wild enough..."

 

"Really?" Roxas wondered, thinking of how many things he just found out one could do during that time. He took another sip of coco and sighed, "To tell you the truth, this is my very first winter... so I'm not used to the cold... or the accustoms." He was about to suggest one of the activities Axel mentioned that sounded fun, but he decided it was best he finished his drink first.

OOC: I don't think Sora's island ever snows anyway if Roxas would think of 'unNobody days'. Destiny Islands in snow?? Can't imagine it. >>

 

OOC: Destiny Islands is tropical, so I'm sure it never snows xP. Unless something happens, yeah, is hard to imagine...

Axel took a sip of his own cocoa, a much bigger one though, as it barely burned his tongue. He felt the hot liquid go down his throat as he swallowed, and he was glad he took the treat, since it was a different type of heat than his. Though, he raised a interesting eyebrow at Roxas, saying it's his first christmas, and knowing why perfectly. He chuckled. "Then I'll show you how it is then, you just need the right company...it always snowed where I came from...I just can't remember where...in your place, it can probably never snow..."

Roxas sighed, "No idea... I never know what's going on." he said, but smiled anyway, "Thanks Axel... I hope I can have at least a bit of fun... since it is one of our few breaks from missions..."

 

"Not that the missions are much anyway, all we do is eradicate Heartless to get more hearts for Kingdom Hearts, and we'll be complete," Axel recited in a drone, though inwardly adding to himself that Roxas didn't really need to get a heart to be complete, Sora was out there, but that meant him disappearing. Shaking his head to keep away the thoughts, he took another sip of his cocoa, his eyes wandering thoughtfully at the falling flakes of snow, his breaths coming out as a mist, more so than everyone else since it was more hotter. "Too bad we can't eat sea-salt ice cream here...though I hated it my first time, I'm not even sure of it now, honestly, I just got used to it." He paused for a moment, as he tasted his cocoa again, and asked after he swallowed, "You don't remember much of your past, do you?"

 

"No... not really..." Roxas replied. "The only thing I remember is being born in Twilight Town... and then I was invited to join the Organization. That's it..." He said, and finishing his cocoa, he placed the mug back carefully on Luxord's tray. He wiped his mouth with a handkerchief and then looked back at his friend. "So... what do we do now...?" He asked, trying to get off the topic about the past.

 

"Anything you want to," Axel simply answered, finishing the last bit of his cocoa left, and licking his lips well as he looked at the mug. Placing it on the tray after Roxas, he didn't bother getting a napkin, his mouth wasn't dirty, and simply glanced towards his friend, knowing that was a change of subject. Then again, he didn't mind discussing another topic. "We can go to the others, we can find something to do, like the things I mentioned, or, I can smack you in the face with a snowball. That sounds tempting."

He smirked.

 

Roxas blinked, "Smack me with a snowball?" He repeated what Axel had just said. He wouldn't really know what it was like to participate in a snowball fight... but since Axel wanted to do it, he shrugged and decided it was probably fun. "Well, sure." He smiled.

 

OOC- Whoa I missed a lot...

Vexen was sitting in a highbacked white armchair by the fire watching the flames, They make me so uncomfortable... But it's freezing cold everywhere else right now. he thought to himself. Slowly he yawned and lent his head onto the chair back, closing his eyes.

 

Luxord sighed. "Axel, haw many days until Christmas?" He asked "I haven't seen any calendars in a while."

 

Axel's smirk turned into a devilish grin at Roxas' reply, only to direct it to Luxord at his question, yet winding it down, though he shrugged nonchalantly in answer. "I have no idea, I never kept a countdown, or bothered to. Christmas comes when it comes to me. Why don't you ask Marluxia? He's usually into that stuff."

With that said, he bent down, scooping up snow from around him, a kind of mischievious glint in his eyes as the wistfulness of the situation came in. Axel had made two big, white, almost perfectly shaped snow balls in a matter of seconds after gathering enough snow, which was odd for a fire wielder. With these in hands, he straightened up, narrowing his eyes at Roxas . "No portalling, by the way. I'll give you until the count of three to escape or find a way to retaliate. One..."

 

Vexen grumbled a little in his sleep. He felt that sleeping was probabley not the best of ideas with everyone around, but there was very little else he wanted to do.

 

Roxas smirked, "Give it your best shot." he said, and picked up some snow to prepare his own ammunition. "And don't you dare go easy on me. Even if this is my first snowball fight..." He closed his eyes and added, "Don't expect me to be any good though."

 

"Mind if i join in too?" Luxord said with a smirk as he leaned down to gather some snow for a rather big snowball.

 

Axel just shrugged again at Luxord, wanting his first target to be his best friend, though he glanced at him from the corner of his eyes. "Sure thing. Two..." He went backwards a little, giving Roxas more of a chance, though a smirk was now on his face once more, aiming and preparing to throw. "I don't expect you to be any good, Rox, but let's see how you do. Three!"

He swung one quickly to his head, hard and with rapid speed to towards him, only to smash the other one in Luxord's face as second later, rubbing the snow in. Axel laughed slightly. "Got you both!"

However, he high tailed it after that (can't portal), heading for some kind of fort behind something before they attacked him.

 

Luxord angrily wiped the snow off his face and handed the huge snowball to Roxas. "You may want to take cover Roxas." He said and with a snap of his finger, five cars appeared."Cards Ready!" The cards picked up snow and urned them into snowballs."FIRE!" The cars launched a sea of snow at Axel's fort,thus burring much of the area."Hows THAT for funny" He said with a laugh.

 

Roxas wiped off the snow from his face and laughed, he immediately threw a snowball at Axel. Since he was new to this, he wouldn't expect to hit him anyway, but as long as he was having fun... he was happy with that. "Get back here!" He said, running after Axel while scooping up another snowball.
