She sent a fireball mental message to Reixa.

Do you know where to go?

 

Reixa noticed the other two there, and nodded. "Can one of you check the meeting room really quick? It's not impossible for the meeting to still be in session. But come straight back, okay?" Rei asked as nicely as she could without trying to sound like she was giving orders. The last thing she needed was a bad image as haughty.

"I think the dorm is up there."

 

Xangel nodded silently.

Now......where's the meeting room?

 

"Meeting room...is somewhere that way....I think." Gwyxn quietly told Xangel.

 

"It should be down that hallway. Stay in the Realm of Darkness though, okay?"

Reixa looked back at the stairs and sensed movement in one of the rooms. Either three or four people seemed to be there, mainly standing. She was too far away to read anything else. If they portaled away, she would know. Rei didn't want to get any closer if even more people were up there, so she stayed where she was.

Okay......whatever....

She quietly crept to the meeting room and stood beside it against the wall trying to listen.

 

Something's up. Usually, Xin would been in and out in a flash...but she's taking way too long. Gwyxn frowned, a rarity for her. She waited boredly for Xangel to return.

 

.....no sounds......meeting must be over....

She went back to Gwynx and shook her head.

 

"Nothing?" Gwyxn sighed quietly, thinking again. That either meant that Xin had taken off on another lead...or...or she was still in the castle, likely duking it out with someone.

 

She sent another mental fireball message to Gwynx.

She can't be fighting.....it's too quiet....

 

"Wha..." Xinaram groaned, her eyes opened a bit.

Remembering what happened, she sat up.
She must have forgotten how much it hurt to be badly injured. Pain surged throughout her body; she struggled to get her senses in full focus, and she wasn't able to think clearly. It would have been stupid for her to try to stand, she would have tumbled to the floor in the state she was in.

She had realized the three people around her, but it wasn't like she could do anything. She couldn't stand, let alone fight. She felt so helpless...

 

Let's go to where Reixa is.....

She went back to Reixa.

 

Gwyxn nodded, slighly downcast. Usually, she could pick up a faint flutty of emotions from Xin, but the girl's usual whirlwind felt muffled, as if another presense was blocking it. She quietly caught up with Xangel and followed her over to where Reixa was.

 

Axel almost flipped over in surprise, snatching his hand back in out of reflex, as Xinaram shot upright out of the blue, only to come back down in agonizing pain. He blinked for a moment, then he gave a intent look to Larxene, before placing his eyes on Xemnas. "Uh, guess she woke up. She's too weak to do anything though, it looks like."

He turned back to the girl writhing and wincing on to of the matress, and that same empty feeling that he felt when he pummeled her onto the ground, seeing her so lifeless, slightly started to come back. He put his hand on the side of her cheek gently again, but didn't tap her this time. "Hey, Xin-Xin....sorry about that. Really, I'm sorry. Got carried away, and though I wanted to beat you, it wasn't meant to turn out like that. You're going to get healed soon, and if you behave and do what we ask, you'll get out of here quickly back home. Do you hear?"

 

Whoa!.....Axel's in there......and so is Xin!.....She's normally concentrating so her temperature is a bit higher than everyone else's......not higher than mine of course.....wonder what's she doing there.....

 

"Oh... Uh, yeah..."

As said before, she wasn't really able to refuse.

Her face remained emotionless, and athough she looked straight at Axel, her voice made her seem like she was distracted somehow.

The truth was, Xinaram sensed her friends there, outside the door. There was no way to tell them to back off, though! If anyone from Organization XIII knew they were there, they'd be in big trouble, and she didn't want that.

 

Heh...her temperature's rising.....she's awake...and she knows we're here.....and she's worried.....we're so screwed if anyone finds us.....well...she knew that...but she came anyway.....

She sent a message to her mentally.

Yeah yeah yeah.....don't get so worried.....we know the risks....so...what are our orders......and no..we are not going back to base.......without you that is.....

 

Gwyxn gave Xangel a curious look, wondering what she was doing. She had sensed Xin also, and thought uncertainly about what to do.

 

She gave Gwyxn a wink...though she might not have seen it because Xangel's face was under a hood.

 

Gwyxn blinked, then suddenly understood what she was doing, and nodded.
