Phenox appeared on a cliff. He sighed, ashamed. "Why did I do that? Xion was only trying to help me..." He looked out at the water. He warped to the Twilight Town marketplace and bought some flowers. "I hope she'll accept these..." Phenox warped to Xion. "Um... hey..." He held the flowers out. "I'm sorry for being so cold with you... I know you were just trying to help..."

Xion smiled and took the flowers. "Thanks... I just worry because... I care about you..." She suddenly noticed how close they were. She blushed and let out a nervous laugh.

Phenox noticed the closeness and couldn't help but blush as well. He got closer to her. Placing a hand on Xion's head.

Xion put held his other hand. She moved closer to him.

Phenox slowly moved his face closer to Xion's.

Xion closed her eyes and waited. She had no idea what this would feel like.

Phenox hesitated when his lips were an inch from hers, but he eventually closed his eyes and kissed her.

Xion felt like she was hit by lightning. Every muscle tensed. She started kissing him as well.

Cloud had seen enough of how Xigbar was handling him. Using his fist, he gripped Xigbar's hand and force Demyx out of his grip. Taking a step back with the nocturne now in his grasp, he released him gentely and starred at the one eyed nobody. "You got some nerve treating him like that. He's not your slave and either is he Xemnas's." Next he glared at the freeshooter for he was not in a mood to be messed with. Keeping his sights upon Xigbar he glance over for a second to see how Xioimara was feeling and if she had heard him or not.

Being relieved that he was no longer being dragged by Xigbar and thankful for Cloud's interference, Demyx rubbed his neck and hoped that there wasn't a red mark left by Xigbar's rough handling of him. He had no idea how far he had been dragged, but his neck was sore from it. At times most of the nobodies didn't think twice about how they treated the others especially those that were weaker in strength and power. His black leather glove's smooth surface was cool to the touch of the skin of his neck which brought him some relief. Knowing he was fine, he backed behind Cloud not sure of what to do now. Xigbar was silent not giving him a choice whether to go into the portal and the sign from the lower nobody servant meant that Xemnas was demanding his presence.

Phenox broke the kiss between thm. They were both blushing horribly. "Um..." Phenox said nervously.

Xion laughed a little. "So... depressed now?"

Phenox gave her a small hug. "No, not anymore. Thanks." He gave Xion an light kiss on the lips.

Xion giggled. "Glad I could help." She hugged him.

Phenox smiled, but it wasn't his usual cold, empty, fake smile. This was a real one. For the first time in his life, Phenox was happy.

Xion looked up at him, smiling at the fact she had been kissed. "I really liked that..." She mumbled.

Phenox smiled and gave her another kiss, making Xion giggle.

"Cut it out. Let's just go." Xioimara said to them all. Irritation was quickly setting in along with anxiety. She just wanted to get a move on. "He's not going to call us back just to kill us." Xioimara crossed her arms. She said this to try and make them relax.

"He would've just had Xigbar kill us." She sighed. "He would've just let us be massacred by those freaks back there." If they were just going to panic she might as well get it over for herself.

"Xioimara.." Xemnas said calmly. A dead gaze following Xemnas as she appeared through the portal.
Xioimara was annoyed by the mere voice of Xemnas though she could barely recognize it. She was frozen in her footprints.. Well, pawprints. She stared blank at the ground the mane on the back of her neck slowly rising.
"Your attitude is clearly still in need of adjustments."
"Shut up!" Xioimara snapped at Xemnas, You're not the boss!" She glowered at Xemnas. This was intimidating, whether he was aware of it or not. Anything was intimidated if you tried to judge its power.
"Hold your tongue, Xioimara." Xemnas warned, the patience in his lifeless eyes running short.

"Stop acting like you're important! You can't control any of us!" She remarked, turning her back to Xemnas to focus her attention to Cloud and Demyx. Xigbar; if he cared.

"You should be grateful. I allowed you into this Organization, regardless of your weaknesses, regardless of the fact that you were practically dead when you were found,"

"Like I look any different from then?"

"Don't challenge me, Xioimara. You have nothing within your arsenal that can defend you against me." "Xioimara, back down. You wont win."
Xioimara paid no mind to Xigbar, her eyes focused back onto Xemnas. It was a challenge. She was pissed off by just looking at him. She had the feeling she was merely being mocker and wasn't going to live in a place being laughed at.
Xemnas met eyes with Xioimara. She was still determined, even if she didn't have a chance of living for another five minutes. She was going to challenge authority. He awaited her response as they silently glared at each other, as if, at some point, this would assassinate one of them.

The silence started to scream between them. Xioimara opened her mouth, almost to smile, and growled. The ethereal blades appeared in Xemnas' hands as he got down to Xioimara's level. He appeared in front of Xioimara. Magic. Xioimara lost track of what was happening, her body felt light and the world-non-existent.

A sudden thrash into a wall, Xioimara felt the world come crashing down on her. Her body was heavy, but she could see without feeling like she was stuck in a dream. She could follow Xemnas' movements. The blood rush to her head woke her up. Xioimara staggered as she was back in her human form. Xemnas' form came to appear in front of her eyes, within arms reach. Her reactions were still working well. She snapped out the gun she had been holding onto. She doubted it would be much use, as Xemnas moved, the chain that was tethered from the gun to her pants tangled as she jumped forward to try and hurt Xemnas.
    He was gone.
She landed hard on her feet the chain caught nothing from where his neck would have been. Should have been. He moved too fast. Her form darted back to a dog, she slid to the side as he lashed forward at her. She jumped from the side at him, throwing her weight into him. It caught him off guard. Xioimara landed heavily on her paws with Xemnas pinned under her. Xioimara seized her opportunity, one paw on his throat the other on his chest. Her teeth bared she growled as she opened her jaws to end him.
She stopped short, her eyes widened, her tail went down to a relaxed state as did the hackles on her neck. She stopped showing her teeth and gasped for a breath quietly, motionless.
Xioimara paused a moment before she staggered from Xemnas. An ethereal blade had been pushed straight through her abdomen. She stood away from Xemnas, her vision blurring in and out. Xioimara morphed to her human shape and fell onto her knees, sitting back as she quietly tried to breathe, a blank stare on her face.

Xemnas rose up from where he stabbed Xioimara. He quietly looked at her. Paying little attention. No care. She would be gone in a few minutes.
Xigbar restrained himself from going to help Xioimara. He didn't even want to think of being next on Xemnas' hit list.
Xioimara started to feel the pain in her stomach start to hurry forward. She grabbed her shirt, soaking through with blood. She looked down at her shirt, shock was set in as she watched. The pain started to make her eyes water and the thoughts that she would no longer exist with no idea of what was ahead. Nothing. Maybe something.
She tightened the grip on her shirt and closed her eyes tightly and shook he head looking at Xemnas, "I regret nothing!" She cried, looking back down as a tear hit the floor in front of her like rain. Xioimara fell forward onto her stomach and curled up into a ball. It was cold she started to realize. Maybe it was just the marble flooring. Marble was always cold. It was always good for alchemy. Sturdy and easy to work with. She hugged her knees, shaking.
She wanted the pain to pass. She wanted it to all end.

There was nothing he could do to ease Xemnas's temper. If he managed to even provoke the leader of the organization, the first thing the Superior would think about was that the blond was the enemy. Cloud refused to jeopardize his friend whom appeared still. Sighing, he touched the young girl, gentely shaking her shoulder to get her to notice him in some respect. She was bleeding and if she did not receive proper medical attention she would die. Taking a bottle from his pocket, he starred at the contents of the elixer that would hopefully heal her wounds if only he could get her to drink it. Edging closer to the victim and kneeling down on one knee, he gentely tilted her head back and let the contents drain down her throat.

Shock and what was left was a guy who could no longer move. He knew what Xemnas was capable of. Shivers down his spine sent a cold sensation throughout his body as he had witnessed the defeat of Xioimara who looked like she was at death's door. Frozen and unable to react, fear was etched in his features of the same thing possibly happening to him. Xemnas was powerful, the mightest of all of Organization XIII. No one would dare to intervene in quarrels or challenge his presence not when he was so capable of doing the unimaginable. Biting his lower lip gentely, the melodious nocturne blinked for what was nearly a minute before he had. Gazing his azure eyes upon the free shooter he glanced to see if he could see a glimmer of sorrow in his eyes, but alas there was none. Whisking his hair from the sweat that appeared on his forehead, the droplet formed on his glove from where he had whiped only for it to be shooken off and fall directly on the hard ground instead. Wandering eyes beheld the Superior and his malice, his authority being well placed before the ninth member. He had made sure to make Xioimara an example of not to mess with him. Demyx slightly opened his mouth to say a word after Cloud had given her the healing agent, but not nothing would utter from his lips. His tongue was dry and the only thing he did was kneel upon the ground and stare with sadness in his eyes at the curled up girl. He hoped he would not receive the same fate as he bowed his head as if in mourning, his face being covered with his arms upon his knee.

Xioimara sat up and gently pushed Cloud away. She shook her head. Her stomach was hurting badly. She felt lighter. Xioimara gazed down at her hands. Her body was starting to fade. "Spirit and mind are crammed together and that's something you can never take from anyone!" She warned Xemnas and glowered at him for a moment. She turned her attention to the floor, she watched herself slowly fade. Her world grew in and out of darkness as her attention drifted. Xioimara's world blacked out as she disappeared into oblivion.

OoC:// my resignation blah blah characters up for grabs. Xioi is dead. Anyone dare bring her back and I will gut your profile page of all dignity.

Phenox broke the hug. "I have to go on a mission to please the big boss man so he won't kick my ass. Bye." He warped away.

    Xion smiled. "Bye."

Phenox appeared in Agrabah. "Okay. My mission is to defeat Kurt Zisa... of course. How come I always get the hard jobs...?" He muttered as he walked towards the desert. Once he reached his destination, Kurt Zisa appeared. "And there's my target." Phenox drew his blade.

    (OOC: You may have him)

Demyx couldn't believe what had just happened. With his eyes wide, he backed away now knowing she was truly gone. A fear of dread swept across his face understanding what happened to those who rebelled aganist Xemnas. Realizing that fate could have easily been him, he dropped to both knees and held his hands up in the air starring at his Superior in the eye. Cupping his hands together, he inched forward still on his knees. "Boss I um I..." he was scarred to death of what may happen. "Can we discuss what has happened since the whole thing of me and you not seeing eye to eye eversince you nearly banished me forever in that void of nothingness? He swallowed after he spoke hoping Xemnas would agree to do that.

Cloud was not liking where this conversation was going. Just in case he held out his sword as a warning to anyone who may hurt him or Demyx. "Xemnas will discuss this with you and me for there are things that need to be addressed before either of us jump to conclusions."

Xemnas was about to respond to Demyx when he noticed the way Cloud was holding his sword. How DARE he do that... Xemnas thought, irritated at the disrespect Cloud was showing him. If he had a heart to get angry with, he would have executed Cloud that minute. Instead of losing his temper, he put on a small smirk. "Yes, Cloud is right. Let's discuss this." He backed up a little to sit on the edge of the Altar. Once he was seated, he cleared his throat. "Demyx. On your feet. You may speak first."

(OOC: I've been gone for awhile and needed to take a small break to gather my thoughts dealing with my personal life. Couldn't respond with so much on my mind, but now I have a clear head.)

Cloud waited for Demyx to speak keeping his blue eyes upon the Superior in case he wanted to harm him. The smirk on Xemnas's face was sending out uncomfortable vibes. Gripping his fingers upon the handle of his sword tightly he lessened his grip just enough so his knuckles were not turning white under his gloves.

Slowly he rose careful of where to place his feet and not step onto his cloak that seemed to hang lower than before. Maybe it was due to the pressure he was experiencing or perhaps another reason, but the whole thing that came down to it was that he couldn't stall any longer. Deciding of what to utter from his lips, he chose but a few minutes to gather his thoughts and make sure that all that he said would make sense to the Superior. "Just to be honest, he swallowed what seemed to be like a lump in his throat, "what I'm about to tell you just kind of happened for no particular reason. I didn't plan for any of this to be like this." He took one step closer and looked down at the ground to gather his thoughts once more. "All right here goes nothing," he thought to himself. "Um you see boss, the whole thing starrted as just getting to know Cloud since he was one I had never seen before. And well we both talked and found out that we have similar traits. I didn't think that just because he was outside of the organization I couldn't be friends with him. Did I really do anything wrong? I still do my missions and yeah I did hide him in the castle, but that was only because I was looking for a friend who could understand me. The other organization members won't take the time to and I guess you could say Cloud and I just talked and my memories of when I was human said that I admired him so to speak." Demyx was fiddeling with his gloved fingers attempting to remain calm even though he was nervous as one could be.

Xemnas nodded as Demyx spoke. "Interesting..." The Superior was thinking seriously about this. He couldn't just get rid of every member who made a mistake. Maybe he could let Demyx off with a slap on the wrist? Perhaps... but he would decide the Nocturn's fate after Cloud spoke. "Cloud, your turn."

Kurt Zisa swung one of its blades at Phenox.

Phenox blocked with his own blade and grabbed Kurt Zisa's arm. With a grunt, he lifted the heartless up and started swinging it around.

Cloud starred at Xemnas with a blank expression not wanting the nobody to see how he felt over the whole thing. He knew who Xemnas was. He had read reports on him and had accessed into the computer mainframe back at Radiant Gardens learning whom this mysterious leader of the organization truly was. His reputation preceded him and it was best to choose his words carefully knowing the kind of power he possessed. "Very well." Cloud was one not to elaborate on the details so he kept it brief and just went right to the point. "I was in Hollow Bastion, heard music, went to see where it was coming from and saw the one playing it." He looked over at Demyx and continued. "Turns out Demyx wasn't a threat and the music was soothing and relaxing. He didn't want to fight we talked until Leon came and then Demyx took me captive against my will to Castle Oblivion." He glared at him as he recalled that moment. "I demanded why I was taken there and he explained to me that he wanted to get to know me, be a friend and that he could relate to me. Next thing I know, he's telling me information, I tell him stuff, we connect in someway and become friends. You could say I see him as a victim of your organization. How someone like him could be involved in it?" Cloud's glare softened and was replaced with nearly a mixed up expression.

Demyx slapped his forehead after Cloud had finished. He really was one who got right to the point, but the nocturne feared what Xemnas's reaction would be. "Um yeah..." he was about to say something, but lost track of he was going to say. In all fairness, Demyx was relieved that Cloud didn't go into any details of what happened at Castle Oblivion such as the time when Demyx was spying on Larxene and Axel through the crystal ball where as Cloud was watching the same thing and then the escape of them both to the castle that never was behind Xigbar's back. He shivered at what happened afterwards and still could feel the intense pain unleashed by the Superior before he was taken to a realm of nothingness to be imprisoned there. Shaking his head of the haunting memories, Demyx sighed and took a few steps forward starring at both Xigbar, Cloud and Xemnas. Xioimara now was nothing, but a sad memory and was the true essence of what would be the result if anyone defied Xemnas.

Xemnas merely nodded slowly at every word Cloud said. "Indeed another interesting story... especially the part about the information... tell me... what kind of information did our dear number IX share with you?" Xemnas asked.

Phenox grunted again and threw Kurt Zisa into a sand dune. Phenox fired dark energy at the dune turning it into glass, encasing his enemy. Phenox sliced the glass over and over. It shattered, killing his target. "Heh... piece of cake. Mission accomplished." Phenox smirked.

Oh this was not getting any better. Somehow Xemnas had caught on and Cloud let something slip out of his mouth. It was nerve wracking and the adareline in the musician's mind was racing. Why did the blond warrior have to mention information for Xemnas was sure going to press with any absoulute means to make him talk. Demyx hoped Cloud knew what he was doing. Waiting for him to speak as the young man was known for his stubborness and quietness, the ninth member of the organization tried to stall. "It's nothing boss. It's just stuff about me. Nothing about our organization. I don't see how that is a big deal." He held his right hand in the air, waved it around and placed it back down at his side. "Besides are you assuming I'm telling him secrets or something?" Demyx asked nonchantely pretending he didn't have a worry in the world.

Cloud acknowledged that Demyx was covering for him and the warrior wouldn't talk unless forced to. Cloud had given Xemnas the means to do anything possible to him now for he was testing the leader of the organization's will. If nobodies didn't have feelings, then reacting with anger would be out of the question. There was no doubt in Cloud's mind that his theory of nobodies was true. He knew he was on dangerous ground, but it was worth the risk. "Any moment now," he thought.

Xemnas' amber eyes intensified as he glared at Demyx. "Did I ask you, number IX? No, I didn't. I asked our guest. So, I suggest you shut your mouth." He turned to Cloud. "My apologize for Demyx's behavior. Now, if you please, what is your answer to my question?" Xemnas asked.

Phenox cracked his neck. "Time to report to Xemnas." He vanished through a dark corridor and appeared in front of Xemnas. He looked around. "Um... am I interuppting something?" Phenox asked.

Well that didn't turn out as good as he hoped. Now Cloud had to say something for if he didn't the Superior would use other measures to get the answers he desired. Demyx nodded understanding that Xemnas was cross with him and he slightly bowed his body forward to show such respect. Was it safe for him to speak yet again or should he just keep his mouth shut? No, he had to acknowledge his boss. "Sorry boss," he looked down at the ground and then back at Cloud wondering what he was going to say.

Cloud's eyes shifted in Demyx's direction for he knew that nobody was only trying to help, but now he had to speak. Normally he would have been on his way and not messed around awaiting to see what would happen in the matter; however, he was over his head in the organization's business by befriending one of their own just out of curiousity and self interest. "He didn't say much. All I know is what anyone would know from your data bases and information you have stored away. Nothing personal or secret." Cloud was bold with his answer without showing any disdain.

Xemnas nodded, his full attention on Cloud. "Nothing... secret... good." Xemnas stood up and started pacing. "At the risk of sounding like a bad host, may I have a few moments alone with Demyx?" The Superior summoned a Dark Corridor around Cloud, transporting him far enough away that he wouldn't hear anything. Xemnas faced Demyx, angry look on his face. "What the hell were you thinking, number IX? You know contact with outsiders is strictly forbidden. What do you have to say for yourself?"
