"You think I like Axel?" Larxene said, not even mentioning that she was still holding Demyx so turning his back wasn't very effective. "Ha! That's a joke."

 

Felix was bored because he was not in the conversation, so he poked Demyx to ask somthing.

 

"Some clam-eater I am. I can't control my swimming skills." She mutters to herself as she brushes plankton off her fur. "If you want, Demyx, I will go with you."

 

"Hey, Felix, why are you poking Demyx?" Larxene asked.

 

"WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT ME AND LARXENE, DEMYX??!!" Axel cried. He began trying to swim toward the little starfish, but was unable to. "Roxas!! Let go of me!!"
"Axel!" Roxas cried, trying his hardest to keep his grip on the little crab. "Murder is not a good habit!" He added in a whisper, "Plus, you're being really obvious with Larxene..."
"Shut it, blondie," Axel hissed.

 

Larxene looked at Axel and burst out laughing, although she was still holding Demyx tightly in her arms, pressing the little starfish against her chest.

 

Axel sighed. "All right...I give up, Roxas...just lemme go..."
"No! I know you, Axel, and the minute I let go of you, you're gonna murder Demyx!" Roxas said. He tightened his grip on Axel. "I'm not as clueless as people think!"

 

"Hey...you...you can let him go, Roxas," Larxene said, trying to catch her breath from laughing so much. "I'm holding Demyx...so he should be safe."

 

Roxas cast a look at the little crab, then back to Larxene. "You sure?" he asked.
"Roxas, come on. I promise I won't hurt Demyx. Scout's honor..." Axel said.
Roxas snorted. "Yeah right. You were never a scout, Axel...I know you weren't."
"...crap..."

 

"Hey, seriously, think about it. How can he get to Demyx?" Larxene said. "Unless he wants to get through me first."

 

"Meh, good point," Roxas said, letting go of Axel.
"Thanks," Axel said to both Roxas and Larxene. He swam back up to Roxas's shoulder and perched there. "Dang...I feel like a parrot..."
"Arr!" Roxas said, laughing.

 

"Now are we done wasting time here?" Larxene said. "We should be getting a move on now."

 

Roxas laughed again. "Yeah...sorry...it's just..." He burst out laughing again. "Axel, it is the weirdest mental image of you as a parrot!"
"Yeah? Well, if I was a parrot, what would that make you?" Axel asked.
"A pirate, I guess..." Roxas said, shrugging.
"Exactly, and you'd be one lousy pirate..." Axel commented.

 

"Hey, Roxas would make a great pirate," Larxene said. "He'd be cute and charming." She giggled.

 

Axel laughed. "You sure we're talkin' about the same Roxas?" he asked.
"What makes you think I can't be a pirate?" Roxas asked sharply.
Axel laughed again. "Roxas...dude...you couldn't shoot someone if you tried..."
"Well, duh! That's why I have my Keyblades!" Roxas said, smiling confidently.
"...Roxas, pirates don't use Keyblades..." Axel said.

 

"That's what would make Roxas a unique pirate," Larxene said, smiling.

 

Axel sighed. "Fine...I know when I'm beat..." he said.
Roxas laughed. "Hey, cheer up, Axel! That's, like, the first argument you've ever lost," he said.
Axel grinned. (Can crabs grin? Whatever...) "That's because this is the first time you've been against me!"

 

"Mm, is it?" Larxene said. "Is this really the first time you two ever argued?"

 

"I guess so Larxene." She nodded, eyeing Axel.

 

'Yeah, pretty much," Axel said.
Roxas nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Normally we're on the same side..." he said.
