Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

Marluxia tried to stay away from the scythe. When he touched it, he felt darkness consuming him completely, but this time, it hurted him. "I saw ta scawy man!" he cried.

 

Xigbar watched, helplessly as his friend burst into tears. He whimpered and laid his hands on Lux's head, tears starting to form in the corners of his eyes. He felt like there was a huge knot in his throat. "Lux...ord..." he choked out. It was no use, though. Seeing Luxord cry made him miserable. He sniffled, tears starting to stream down his cheeks. He whimpered a little, looked at Luxord again through a viel of tears, then broke out into a full fledged wail.

 

Luxord would continue to whimper into Xigbar, before the waterworks slowly began to die down. He'd still be holding onto Xigbar, not really knowing what he was doing. All he could remember was that he was card surfing with Xigbar and nothing more.

 

"Do you want to go home and get that sand out of your hair, or stay here?" Axel said and rest his chin on Demyx's shoulder.

 

Demyx sighed. "Let's just go home." He said before glaring at the little Marluxia.

 

"Okay, honey." Axel lifted his head and opened a portal to his room infront of them. Soon after, he grabbed Demyx's hand and held it tight as they walked through the portal.

 

Demyx smiled solemnly at Axel as they walked through and ultimately reached the redhead's room. He went straight to the mirror to look at his hair.

"Ugh.. That little Marly--" He grimaced. "I'm gonna take a shower to wash this crap off." He called back to Axel.

 

"Alright, monkey." Axel said and smiled. He walked over to his bed and sat on the edge of it. "Everything that you need is in there, so no need to to go back to your room." His grin grew.

 

Vexen watched as the two men left, and then turned with a worried expression towards Marluxia. "I'm sorry, sweatheart. I know you said to stay away and do not want my help, but I'm scared for you." She wanted desperately to help the one she loved and get to the bottom of the "scawy man" incident.

"Come on." The scientist lovingly picked up the child and opened a portal, not before making sure that no one was around to see. Entering in her lab, she set the tiny flower on a lab bed and looked him straight in the eyes. "Listen to me, sweetheart. I know that even though you look like a child, you are still the same Marluxia from before, and I want you to understand something. I love you..." She paused to emphasize her words. "I love you, and I don't want anything to happen to you." She hugged the young boy and whispered, "Please let me help you. I want to plug you to my lab machines and find out what is wrong."

OoC: Sorry for not posting sooner. Tonight was my "go out and have fun with friends" night so I was not home for almost the entire day. :o

 

Demyx went in the shower and washed all of the sand out of his hair. He sighed as he got out and looked at him in the mirror again.

He spent a good ten minutes preening his hair in front of the mirror before leaving the bathroom to find Axel still in his room, sitting on the bed.

"What are you smiling about?" He asked, his own smile beginning to form slightly.

 

Axel's eyes moved to look at Demyx. "I just love you." He whispered and turned his head to Demyx, making his eyes centered. The green in his eye seem to have a more gray tone, which was weird because they were a bright grassy green most of the time. He blinked and kept the smile on his face.

 

Marluxia nuzzled into Vexen's arms. "I wove you, too, Vexxy... but I dun wanna be big... you won't find any 'ting and you won't undewstand..." He gripped his hands on Vexen's arms and began to cry sofly.

Vexen was defeated. She knew there was nothing she could do to help and worrying about helping would not make her life any easier. So, she smiled an understanding smile.

"Come on. Let's go to the kitchen. I'm kind of hungry." But she did not open a portal. Instead, the woman picked the child up and set him on the ground. She took his hand in hers and began to walk to their destination.

"Marluxia." She looked down at the small flower boy as they walked down a hall. "Will you stay small for much longer?" As much as Vexen loved this tiny Marly, she missed the normal one.

 

"I wanna be big again, but scawy man will huwt evewyone. Me can't wisk that, until I know it's safe..." Ever since the man told him that he wouldn't dare control a child, staying that way made him feel safe, especially for Vexen aswell.

They went to the kitchen, and Marluxia followed Vexen like a duckling would with his mother duck. He really did act like a 5 year old, maybe even younger than that. He couldn't control his urges. He just had to speak and act the way he did.

 

Vexen did not want to continue with that subject, even though she did not like the response. She wanted the old Marluxia back, but she figured that the flower was right. Everyone was safer this way.

"Are you hungry?" The scientist spoke as she looked through the refrigerator. "Because I am starving!" Rummaging through the food contents, she finally pulled out two microwavable dinners. One was pizza and the other chicken.

Looking to the tiny pink-haired boy, she asked him, "Which do you want?"

 

"Any'ting!" Marluxia said. He had the biggest grin on his face. He loved hanging out with Vexen.

"Vexxy... do you want me bigger?"

 

Vexen made microwaved both dishes so that both nobodies could eat. She thought about the question Marluxia asked her. "Well. I would like for you to be bigger. But I understand that you being bigger could be dangerous. So I don't mind either way."

The scientist smiled and served both dinners. She and the little flower sat and began to eat. What the girl did not include in her answer was that she loved him romatically, and she could not if he was tiny.

Marluxia finished his food. He was happy it was all gone, because then he could have dessert.

"Vexxy, Can I have some ice cweam?" He smiled, and appeard to have little bits of crust in his face, which made him look super adorable. Hard to believe anyone could look that adorable.

"I can get it mysewf, Vexxy. I'll get us both ice cweam!" He pulled his chair, then pushed it towards the fridge. He got up, opened the freezer and pulled out a tub of vanilla ice cream. He closed the freezer door, jumped off the chair, and ran cutely towards Vexen with the cutest smile on his face. "Here Vexxy!" He put the tub on the table and pushed it towards Vexen.

"I like ice cweam. When I was a kid befowe, I had this big sweet tooth, and I used to sneak and eat ice cweam in my bed all day, and my bestest fwiend..." He stopped, and thought about it, then smiled again. "I didn't have any fwiends..."
