Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

He tried to remember everything that happened, and felt dizzy at the same time. "Vexen, something is happening to me... I don't know exactly, but..." Marluxia took a deep breath in and tried his hardest not to scare the scientist in front of her. He grabbed her hand, and looked away. "Stay away from me. I don't want you to get hurt." He turned his head, looking Vexen in the eye. He tried not to sound crazy, and tried to be as serious as can be. "There's a darkness trying to control me... so far, it looks like its taking a break."

Xigbar turned to Axel, biting his lip. He felt like he couldn't move, or even talk. He just stared, his breaths getting deeper and deeper. Relax, Xigbar... he told himself. It's just ice cream, get over it... But he couldn't get over it. Nothing else in the world mattered anymore... Except... For that... Ice cream.

He started whimpering. Oh crap, here it comes... RUN, AXEL! He took several short gulps of air, another, lound deep breath, opened his mouth, and then let loose an ear splitting wail that was so loud, and high-pitched, that it was just a second away from peeling the paint off the walls.
"I WANT ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!"

 

Axel turned to Xigbar. "STOP THAT YELLING!" Axel screamed. "YOU DON'T WANT TO GET A BURNING SLAP ON THE BOTTOM, DO YA?" He said snapping his fingers making a single flare in the palm of his hand.

 

Demyx looked at Axel wide-eyed. The older man looked.. somewhat scary. His lips quivered and his his began to water again. The little nobdy began wailing in fear and shock.

 

Axel looked up to see Demyx..... crying? He quickly ran over the child and kissed his forhead. "What's wrong, honey?"

 

Demyx pushed the fire nobody away and chanted "SCARY MAN! SCARY MAN!" Between his sobs.

 

Axel looked at Demyx with his puppy dog eyes. "W-what did I do? Baby, don't cry."

 

Demyx continued wailing. "You're a mean man. You want to hurt me, Luxxy and Xiggy" He said while covering his eyes, trying to get away from Axel. He slunk down in the chair in an attempt to get further away.

 

"Demyx, I'm sorry." He moved his head in closer to Demyx and licked his cheek. "I didn't mean to."

 

Demyx sniffled before bringing his hands down from his eyes. He wiped his cheek where Axel had licked him and said, "Yucky," in disgust.

"Where's Mommy?" He asked. "I want her to make me some brekky."

 

"I am making toast, am I not? Is that good? Or do you want something else?" Axel said, putting his whole attention on Demyx. "Mommy is going to make something to help you get better."

 

"What are you talking about?" The scientist was really worried now. She was not going to abandon Marluxia in his time of need. "Why don't you let me help you? I'm sure that whatever is hurting you or controlling you, I can figure it all out and get rid of it." Vexen was unaware how out of her hands the situation was. All she had were her lab tools and knowledge, but it would take a lot more than that to fight off Marluxia's problem.

The blonde wanted to take her pink haired friend into her arms and never let him go. But she did not. Instead, she stood up and sat on a chair on the other side of the room. She was troubled. "Talk to me, Marluxia."

 

"You're not my Mommy." Demyx said defiantly while crossing his arms.

 

"I can't really explain it... but... I think my past is trying to control me." He said. He covered his face, and tried to think about what was going on. He didn't want to worry Vexen, so he kept to himself. He dropped his hands and smiled at the blonde. "I'm kinda hungry. I haven't eaten much."

 

"Yeah, I know. I said MOMMY is going to make you something to make feel better. She is in her lab. I am going to make you breakfast." He explained. "Got it memorized?"

 

Vexen realized how suddenly Marluxia changed the subject, but she pretended not to. She herself wanted the subject changed.

"Yeah, I'm pretty hungry. Let me get the reversal candies I made and we can head to the kitchen." Vexen stood up, her face riddled with doubts and concerns. Still, she managed to smile at Marluxia as she headed out and picked up her box of candies. Then, she opened a portal and both nobodies made their way to the kitchen.

Once there, they met up with Axel, who seemed to have his hands full with three little members.

 

Marluxia looked at the children, and Axel. "Cute... too cute..." he said. It was hard to believe that they were all serious members of the organization the day before.

 

Axel heard a noise somewhere behind him and turned around to see Vexen and Marluxia. "Thank god you're here!" Axel said, sighing. "This is hell, I'm sorry, but it is. Do you have the reversals?"

 

"Oh, yes! Of course." Vexen handed the box to Axel. She then made her way towards Demyx, who did not seem very happy. "Hey, Demy! Guess what? I have the candies to make you all better!" She picked up the young child. She kind of liked him this way, even though she knew that a child was the last thing the organization needed.

 

Axel took the box. "Thank you." He whispered and sat down in a chair across from where Demyx was sitting.
