Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

"Fine. I will do it. Just give me some of the candy, alright?" He said, still holding Demyx close.

 

"Before I give you the candy, you must leave Demyx with me. That way, the rest wont suspect anything. I'll hold onto the idiots aswell" He said referring to Xigbar and Luxord. He pulled out a bag with 5 pieces of candy inside. "Deal?"

 

"L-leave Demyx with you?" Axel said and shook his head. "I don't think I can leave him alone with you, since he's at a such a young age."

 

"He has the appearance of a 5 year old, it doesn't mean he has the mind of one." he responded.

 

Vexen had no idea what was going on. All she heard from the pair was whispering. Against her better judgement, she walked out infront of them, but she caught herseld quickly. If these two are up to something, what can I do? I am defenseless!

She turned quickly behind the wall again, hoping they had not seen her. Maybe she should just stay away from the boys for a while, at least until she figured out what they were doing and why the organization members were becoming toddlers.

 

Axel gave Marluxia the sme puppy dog eyes he gave him when he asked Marluxia what he should do about the Demyx and Roxas situation a few days back. "Please?"

 

Marluxia looked at Axel. He felt dizzy. "A-Axel... He-" Marluxia got down on one knee and tried to pull himself back together. He shook his head and got back up. "Just don't let anyone know that's Demyx!" He dropped the bag of candy on Axel's hand.

 

Vexen walked quickly back to her lab. She wanted to figure out some way to age the toddler members back to their original age. Still, to do so she would have to know how they had become toddlers in the first place. If some kind of potion had been used, she could surely find a reversal, but if magic was involved she would be powerless to change the effects.

I wonder if Marluxia is behind all of this... or maybe Axel? The former sounded much more likely, though in reality Vexen knew so little of the situation that neither nobody could be at fault and some outer force could be at work here.

The woman brushed that idea aside and instead, once in her lab, began to search for ingrediants and books that may assist her in her quest. Busy as she was, she overlooked the mess Marluxia had left behind when he had made his little sweets.

 

Axel smiled and spoke, "Thank you." He opened a portal to his room and went straight through it. When inside, he put Demyx on his bed and sat in a chair. "oh Damn it."

 

OOC: sorry for not posting. holidays are crazy for me...
and now it's my birthday, so i'm going to be busy for the next day or so.

i promise i'll post as soon as i can.

 

When Axel left, Marluxia fell on his knees again, panting. "H-HELP!" he cried.

 

Vexen perked her ears. Did I just hear someone yell for help? Listening intently for a second cry, she heard none. The woman set down her instruments and ran out to the hall. Now her motherly instincts were kicking in and she feared for the toddlers. I hope none of them have hurt themselves.

But what she found was something quite different. Marluxia was on his knees, and it seemed as though her were in pain.

"Marluxia!"

Marluxia fell to the ground. The darkness tried to digest him completely and take over.

 

"Marluxia!" Vexen fell to her knees beside the man, lifting his head onto her lap. She was shocked and did not know what to do. Craddling the man back and forth, she opened a portal into her lab and, with much trouble, dragged the man in. She needed to help him. If only she knew what was wrong with him.

Vexen lay the man on the floor, unable to move him onto any beds. She ran to the sink and filled a cup with cool water, returning with it and a rag. Wetting the rag, she placed it over the man's forehead.

She wanted to plug him up to her machines to reach the center of the problem, but she could not bring herself to leave him alone. Instead, she lay beside him, talking to him gently.

"Marluxia, are you ok? What's the matter? Let me help you." She brushed back his hair as she continued her whispered babble.

Demyx sat on Axel's bed and fidgeted. "You're going to give Zexion, Roxas and Vexen those sweeties?" He asked. "But that's mean..."

 

Axel sighed. "I have to, Demy. or else You'll never be normal again." Axel looked at Demyx and smiled.

 

"Two wrongs don't make a right." Demyx said, displaying his childish knowledge of right and wrong.

 

Marluxia was struggling to regain control over his body again, and for a short moment, he was himself again.

"V-Vexen...?" he crocked. "I love you..."

 

"Well, You're right, but how will you get back? I mean c'mon, you can't live young forever!" Axel explained and sighed. He looked towards the ground and spoke again, "I can't love you like I did before."
