Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

Axel looked down worried and thought to himself'I wonder what Roxas is doing right now.' He sighed on accident and hoped Demyx didn't hear him. 'What am I talking about! I have Demyx'

 

Vexen followed Marluxia, all the while thinking to herself, What are you doing? You do not have feelings for this person; you do not have feelings at all!

She looked at the beautiful restaurant that Marluxia brought her to. The balcony view was gorgeous. Still, Vexen was feeling very shy.

She looked to the man sitting before her; he was casual and confident and... Marluxia! How on earth did Vexen ever end up on a date with him!

A waitor came up to her and asked what she would like to eat. Vexen looked down at the menu and decided to get the first thing that she saw: Gnocci.

While the waitor went off with both of the customers' order, Marluxia stared at Vexen.

"Umm... Marluxia, whatever made you want to ask me on a date?" The shy girl twitched her feet and played with her hair very nervously.

 

Having no luck of finding Vexen, Roxas returned to the Castle Oblivion empty-handed. He felt disappointed, but continued to try to think of places that Vexen might be. "The gym, maybe?...No, Vexen never was the "work-out" type. The kitchen?...No, she's about to go on a date." He thought. And that's when it hit him- Vexen was going on a date...with Marluxia.

"Oh, man. Where did they go to?" Roxas wondered around the halls of the Castle for any sign of where the two might have been going. He found nothing. He found a few random Organization members and asked them, but they new nothing. In fact, most of them didn't even know about Vexen's new...assets.

The last place possible was Marluxia's own room, so Roxas searched there next. To his surprise, as soon as he walked into the room, there was a calendar-like board, with the day's date on it and the words "Going out with Vexen at the nice Italian Restaurant- Gackt as entertainment". Roxas knew immediately which restaurant it was, since Marluxia had tried to convince him to go there once, saying that the spaghetti would help cure his depression.

Immediately, Roxas opened a portal to the restaurant and rushed through. He walked up to the counter. "Do you know if Marluxia is here? With a woman...Vexen?" he asked the closest waiter. "I need to talk with her."

 

Demyx looked at Axel and saw that he had a worried expression. Curiosity got the better of him and he asked, while smiling, "Axel, what are you thinking of?"

 

Axel was surpised and jumped up a bit. "What?' He looked up. "Me? Huh? Nothing... Why?"

 

Demyx laughed. "What is up with you lately?" He asked playfully. "There must be something....you're not normally this jumpy."

 

Axel looked at him. "Jumpy? What is that sapposed to mean?" He leaned on Demyx. "There is no need to be."

 

Demyx looked at Axel uncertainly. "Oh....okay then." He looked down at the pizza slice that still rested in his hand. "Y'know....I don't think I feel hungry anymore." And with that, he got up and walked away, thinking to himself, "There's something going on here, something he's not telling me."

 

"Demyx...." Axel said quietly as he left. A tear fell from his eyes thinking that Demyx was going to leave him. He also got up waiting to see if Demyx was coming back.

 

Demyx had already left the dining room and was on his way back to his own room. "I just need to sit for a while..." He thought to himself, "and maybe practise on my sitar."

He reached his bedroom and sighed as he walked in alone. Demyx sat on his waterbed with his sitar on his lap and started picking at the strings, creating a sad sort of melody.

 

Axel heard some music coming above him, very soft music but he could still hear it. 'Demyx?' He thought. He opened a portal to Demyx's door. When he got there he listened to the music some more. Axel sat against the wall holding his knees next to the door, waiting for him to come out.

 

An hour or so went past and Demyx stopped playing. He looked at his clock, "Oh! I didn't realise I'd been in here so long..." He put his sitar aside and looked himself over in the mirror before walking toward his bedroom door.

 

Axel heard demyx finally stop and heard his footsteps. He smiled waiting for him to come out.

Demyx opened his door, only to see Axel on the other side. "Woah! You startled me..." He said, blushing. "Umm...how long have you been standing out here?"

 

Marluxia was shocked at the question Vexen led out. He really didn't know how to answer her. But as he was about to say something, behind Vexen, he saw Roxas looking around. "How about I tell you in the parking lot?" He said. He grabbed Vexen and pacingly went out into the parking lot. He didn't say a word to her, just trying to get her out of there was all that mattered. "He's trying to take her from me" he thought.

 

"Hey, Saix. I need your help," Lexaeus greeted after he got no response from Xigbar. "We need to go and set your Heartless on some cows. Our Nobody cows croaked on us and we won't be getting any more diary products without them."

The Silent Hero scratched his chin and continued, "So, the idea rocking enough for you?"

 

Axel looked up at Demyx. "Since you started." His smile grew. "You play beautifully..."

 

The two had not even been served yet and Vexen's date (boy, was that weird to say) was pulling her away in such a rush you would think that the restaurant was about to explode. They sped past waitors balancing plates and customers shocked at their speediness. As they reached the exit Vexen looked back and saw someone familiar: Roxas? What was he doing here?

Before Vexen had a chance to think, the pair was outside the door. As Marluxia leaned against a wall, panting, Vexen wondered if she really had seen the boy. If so, she was relieved; she had felt sufficiently awkward with Marluxia and Roxas may be able to get her out of here.

"Marluxia, why were you in such a hurry? We did not even eat. And did you see Roxas in there, too? I could have sworn I did!" The girl made her way towards the door; she wanted to check if the boy really was in the restaurant.

 

Marluxia quickly grabbed her hand, pulled her close to him. And with a huge red blush, he kissed her. This was his first kiss with a woman. "Am I really in love?" He thought to himself as he gazed into Vexen's eyes. He stopped kissing her and gave her a big hug. "That's not Roxas" he replied. "I'm sure that's not Roxas. I brought you back her because.... because..." Marluxia really didn't know what to say. He dragged her into a parking lot with nothing but cars and a trash bin.

 

Vexen froze; she had just been kissed! And by all people by Marluxia. She could feel her pulse grow faster and she nearly fainted. She had never been kissed before.

Marluxia carried a dazed Vexen to the parking lot. The girl was shaking, still in shock. Could she have feelings for this man whom she had known for so long? She had never felt anything for him before, and she did not know what she felt for him now. All she knew was that she was very confused.

She mindlessly followed Marluxia, unable to think or make sense of the situation. Did she harbor feelings for him? She had no heart, so she could not possibly feel anything for anyone. She looked to them man leading her. Still, all that she could think about was if in fact she had seen Roxas or not.
