Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

Axel let go of Demyx and scratched his head. "So is there anything we should do or something..."He mumbled trying to get Roxas out his mind. "Hey you wanna have something to eat?"

"It's just something that came up that I thought you should know about," Roxas said, regretting what had previously left his mouth. He could tell Vexen was obviously bored with their conversation, so Roxas decided to say something...anything. As long as it wasn't along the lines of Axel or another Organization Member. "Um, I have a blue sash." He smiled a little, before catching himself and forcing his careless face back on.

OOC: Haha...blue sash. I just had to throw that in there

Vexen examined Roxas and found no blue sash on him. He decided that Roxas was just as crazy as the rest of them.

Still, Roxas's obvious emotions made Vexen think of a creature with a heart, and so he asked Roxas, "Would you consider taking part in my experiments? You would make a perfect specimen."

"Eh, specimen?" questioned Roxas. "I don't think that'd be a good idea," he answered, but then remembered that he had nothing else to do, and since Axel was busy with Demyx anyway, there'd be no reason not to help out.

"Actually, yeah. Sure. I'll do it. What's involved?" Roxas asked, hoping that he hadn't gotten himself into too much to handle.


OOC: Oh yes. I have a blue sash!

 

"Good. Just follow me to the lab." Roxas had a hesitant look on his face, but he followed Vexen anyways.

After a silent walk, Vexen opened his lab door, set down his coffee, and pointed to a room.

"Just go in that room. There should be a uniform. Change into it and then we shall proceed with the tests." Vexen began to tinker with a complex looking machine, missing Roxas's bewildered look.

Roxas hesitantly entered the room with only a uniform inside. He slowly closed the door and changed into the strage uniform that was there for him to wear. It didn't exactly fit him and looked baggy on his slim figure. After a few minutes of tugging at the loose clothing, Roxas emerged from the room to find Vexen still working on the machine.

"So," Roxas said, catching Vexen's attention by spinning around with his arms out, "how do I look?"

 

As Sai'x wondered around looking for Axel or any other XIII mem who could tell him where Axel was.He soon grew tired of looking so he went back to get he's Claymore.

After getting want he went back to get,headed for the trainig room Sai'x thinks to him self has he looks out a window "What a beautiful moon.

 

Vexen's thoughts were pulled away from his work by Roxas's words. The scientist examined the boy.

"I suppose you look alright. Now, please come with me." The pair walked towards an odd looking machine, having many waterfilled accomodations. In one was a heartless, in another a nobody, and in another a bird.

Vexen pointed to a chair with many wires projecting from it. "Sit there and I will plug you up. You may feel some electrical currents but there will be no pain." Vexen carried on casually, even as Roxas became more disconforted.

 

"Sure, let's go get some breakfast." Demyx said to Axel, and he started to walk towards the dining room.

 

Roxas felt very uncomfortable as he was strapped into the chair and Vexen wired him up. He could feel his breathing get a little heavier and even a few beads of sweat formed on his forehead.

"Uh, how long, ah...will this...Ah....take?" Roxas asked, trying to get accustomed to the currents flowing through the wire.

 

"Not very long." Vexen went to the main computer and pushed some buttons. A red light flashed and Roxas yelped a bit as he felt a pinch on his chest. Then, the lights turned off, the currents stopped flowing, and Vexen walked back to the chair, helping Roxas out of it.

"It was a simple DNA test. I can now study you with you not having to be present. It makes everything much easier." Vexen lead Roxas back to the changing room.

When Roxas walked out, Vexen was busily working on his sutdies. Yet, when the scientist looked up, he felt like being active, something that was very odd for him.

"Roxas, would you like to go on a walk around the castle, to see if we can find any of the others? Or maybe we could head to the gym? I've been locked up in here since my return and, although this is a first for me, I feel tired of it all."

He looked to the boy, awaiting a reply.

 

Axel followed him. "What do we have to eat?" He looked in the freezer at his chocolate waffles and grabed it. When Axel opened it, the box was empty. "Whatever" He threw it back into the freezer and sighed.

 

"Really? You want to go to the gym?" Roxas surprisedly asked. "I didn't know you liked to go to the gym. But yeah, I'll go with you," he added with a shrug.

Roxas led the way to the gym, trying to make conversation with Vexen. "So why did I have to change into that ridiculous suit, if all you needed was a DNA sample?"

 

As Sai'x got done training he headed for the kitchen to finally get something to eat. He sees Axel,and askes him to cook him something.

 

"Well, you see the neuron processes of you body would interfere with the gamma rays that the machine produces and the suit is specifically designed so that such a thing will not happen. If it did, not only would you grow a mutation, but the machine could explode, and I do not think either situation is pleasant." Vexen followed the boy, energized and eager to work out. He was always in the lab so he was not very physically fit.

Vexen looked at Roxas, who seemed to be thinking about something. "Anything paricular on your mind?" the scientist asked.

 

Axel turned to see Saix. "Im no cheif sorry." Then he looked at Demyx. "Monkey do you want to order out?"

 

Sai'x thinks for a sec about how much axel is hes least fav of all the Org XIII mem's,and then fianlly saying WTF is up with you calling Demyx monkey?!?

 

"Uh huh" and "yeahs" were the only responses Roxas made while Vexen went on his little science speech. Roxas wasn't the brightest Organization Member in the bunch. He had no idea what gamma rays where, let alone what a neuron process was like. It didn't matter much to him- as long as he wasn't physically harmed, he didn't really care what just happened.

Roxas was shaken out of his empty-mindedness when the words "on your mind" were said. "Huh?" He replied. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention. What did you say?"

 

"Ordering out sounds good." Demyx answered, "pizza for breakfast?"

 

Vexen repeated himself. "I was wondering if there was anything particular on your mind. You seem to be in another realm at times and I was only conce..." Vexen stopped himself. Conerened? Was he just about to say conerned? But he had no heart so he could not feel concern.

"I was simply curious." The scientist cleared his throat and hoped that the boy had not heard his previous slip.
