Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

"It's not up to me to tell you who you're with," Roxas said, determined not to make direct eye contact. He tried to act nonchalantly and added, "so whatever."

 

Demyx woke up alone in his bed. "Hmm...I though Axel was here with me.." He smelled the faint smell of burning in the air and remembered that the pyro was with him. "I wonder where he got to..?"

He got up and ready to go soon after getting out of bed. "Guess I'll just go look for him...." He said as he left his room.

 

Axel smiled with 'your lying' look at Roxas. "I know your wrong." He walked to the other side of Roxas while letting his arm slide on the raillings of the equipment. "I know how you feel."

Roxas turned and faced Axel with a trying-to-hide-it-smile. "Oh yeah?"

 

His smile grew. "Yes." Axel turned his head to the doorway making sure Demyx wasn't there. "You know we have the same feelings for each other..."

 

"Axeeeel~!" Demyx hollered down the hallways. "Man, this place is big..." He thought as he wandered around, "I'm never gonna find him.. Unless I shout louder - AXEEEEEL!!"

He heard a few disapproving groans from other org. members as he walked past their bedroom doors but he decided to ignore them and carried on yelling.

 

"How can you say that when I see you with Demyx?!" Roxas demanded to know. "You even went to bed together." He waited for a response, but when none came, he added, "so what is that supposed to mean?"

 

"I love you." Axel quickly ran out of the gym towards Demyx. When he finally saw he him he squeeled."MONKEY! Your finally awake!"

 

Demyx's eyes went wide as he wasn't expecting Axel to suddenly jmp out at him. "Eep! Uh..uhm..yea. Where'd you go off to without me?" Demyx smiled.

 

Roxas stood silent while Axel ran past him. After what felt like hours of standing there, Roxas scratched his head. "Wha...What just happened?" He didn't feel like working out anymore, so he decided to take a long walk by himself.

"I just wanted to take a quick walk is all." He smilled and huged Demyx. 'I-I can't belevie i actullay did that... Why... did I....' He thought as Demyx warmed him. 'Will I ever love?'

 

"So dudes, uh what's goin' on?"

 

*yamns*::wakes up from nap that I take when the other XIII mem's start act like idiots which is all the time::*thinks*why am I up now i can't get back to sleep.Guess I'll get something to eat,Wheres Axel I feel like BBQ.

Vexen walked out of his lab. He'd been up all night studying the heart. Still, he was not tired. He was in need of some coffee, though, so he headed to the kitchen. He'd been absent for such a long time that he had forgotten where the kitchen was, so he began to walk around and search, each time remembering more of this castle, and remembering more where he needed to go to find the kitchen.
He wondered how the organization members were. When he had last left they had all been acting crazy, but they were always like that so he doubted he find them any different. Vexen's character was much more calm, mature, and introverted, and he often felt embarassed when the more outgoing members talked to him so freely. Vexen was a man of few words and he was not very socially up to pace. So he avoided the other members. Especially Axel and Demyx, who were extremely extroverted. He did not mind Roxas too much, because he was much more calm. And Marluxia frightened him and caused gim to feel inferior, since she was the owner of Oblivion Castle.
Vexen poured himself a hot cup of fresh coffee. He decided to walk around the castle so as to reintroduce himself to it.

Roxas stretched his arms and yawned. He woke up, scratched his head, and hoped to goodness that everything had just been a bad dream. "Man, that was crazy....Wait, how did I get here?" He looked around to see bare walls and a door at the end of the room. He figured it was just some closet that someone had put him in after he fell asleep while wandering Castle Oblivion.

He decided that what he needed was some fresh air. He opened the door and saw the familiar black cloak Organization members saw. Roxas managed to get a sleepily "Hey", hoping to get the person's attention.

 

Vexen nearly spilled his coffee at the sound of a small "Hey" uttered behind him. He turned around and saw Roxas, one of the few organization members he could tolerate.
"Hello Roxas. I have not seen you in quite some time."

 

"Yeah, it's been a while," Roxas mumbled. "Didn't mean to bother you"

 

"Hmmm." Vexen cleared his throat. He didn't know what to say to the boy. He sipped his still warm coffee and then finally spoke.
"I suppose everyone has been well. How is the fiery one?" He was refering to Axel, whom Vexen was not very fond of.

 

Roxas looked down at the floor. "You mean Axel? Uhm, I guess he's fine," said Roxas. After a moment of awkward silence, he had to say something, no matter what it was. So before even thinking, Roxas blurted out, "Did you know that he's with Demyx now?" He knew as soon as the last word exited his mouth, he knew he shouldn't have said it.

 

Vexen saw Roxas's cheeks turn red. So something was going on with the boy and the fiery one. Vexen did not understand these little games, for of all the Organization members, he was the one with the least trace of feeling, so he did not like, or love, not even in the way that the other members did. So to him the idea of coupling was absurd.

"No. You are the first one I have seen since my return. I suppose I should be glad for the two," he said this with a non caring voice. "Whatever made you mention that fact?" He looked at Roxas and saw a glimmer in his eyes. The boy seems to care about this matter. Vexen's curiosity at Roxas's obvious display of emotion took over him and he felt a flutter in his chest, but he quickly ignored it.
