Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

Xigbar gasped. He scrambled away from the the blonde woman to Saix and Luxord. "No time!" he cried to the other child. "Quick - Luxord, take off that ugly hat of his that obviously clashes with his blue hair!"

As soon as Saix heard this, he automatically dropped the boy to the ground. He looked over them both, but didn't say or do anything.

 

Xemnas rushed for the Hatter, who got to his feet, smiling. Xemnas took a swing...

...and the laser disingegrated when it got within a foot of the Hatter.

"So sorry, old boy, but I believe your weapons cannot penetrate."

Xemnas kept slashing at him, the laser tip disapopearing when it reached the 1-foot radius.

"I dare the rest of you to try!" laughed the Hatter. "And Saix, if you would, be a dear and destroy them?"

 

Luxord plopped on the ground with a little thump. "Hay! That wasn't nice!" Luxord hopped up fast before he looked over to Xigbar. "Kay...what's the plan, capetan(sp)?" They had to work together to get the hat off. They were too short to do it alone. Think..

 

Xigbar shrugged. I... I don't know... He's so tall, even if we stood on each other's shoulders it--"

Saix's eyes suddenly snapped back to their old enraged states. He gave a low, dangerous growl, and summoned his claymore.

"Oh... snap..."

His mind began working overtime. Suddenly, it hit him. "I know! I could lift you up, using my space powers! You're not afraid of heights, are ya?"

Luxord didn't have any time to answer, because at that time, Saix charged, with his claymore raised.

 

Luxord nodded, avoiding being hit by Saix. "Go for it. And I aint afraid. Remember how many times I used to be stupid and jumped down from the second floor to the ground one?"

 

Xemnas kepts slicing away, the Mad Hatter kept laughing as the lasers fell short of their mark.

"Haha! This is too easy. Perhaps you weren't a worthy nemesis after all!"

Xemnas looked the Hatter in the eye and then punched him in the face. To both their surprise, the first connected, sending the Hatter flying. Xemnas rushed over and picked up the Hatter by his lapels, and then placed a hand to the Hatter's chest.

"Aha!" laughed the Hatter when Xemnas just stood there for a while, wondering what was going on. "Your body may be able to penetrate my cheild, but your weapon still won't work whithin it."

Xemnas was still trying in vain to summon his lasers from within the Hatter's barrier, so focused that he didn't notice the Hatter pulling a baseball cap from his back pocket.

"Perhaps you should turn those lasers on yourself," said the Hatter as he raised the cap over Xemnas' head.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" a voice from behind screamed, and suddenly the Hatter's eyes went dead, his face frozen in his smirk. He dropped the cap and went limp in Xemnas' arms.

Xemnas dropped the Hatter, who fell like a doll to the ground, and looked at Naminé, who was standing with her hands to her mouth, looking horrified at herself.

 

Xigbar glanced back a bit, completely caught off guard. He stared at Namine. "What the--"

KRUNCH!

Xigbar screamed, and jumped back as Saix's claymore crashed a few inches from his face. The Berserker only snarled, and got ready for another attack.

"OKAY!" he shouted quickly to Luxord. "Up ya go!"

He lifted the blonde child up, grunting with exurtion (SP?), and shot him towards Saix's head like a torpedo.

Saix saw the boy coming out of the corner of his eye, and lifted his claymore defensively.

 

Xemnas didn't even notice the sounds of struggle coming from behind him. He looked at the Hatter, who was still breathing but not moving or giving any other indication of life, and then to Naminé, who was shaking.

He slowly approached Naminé, softly saying "Naminé...did you...do this?"

Naminé nodded her head slowly. "I think so..." she said shakily.

"How?" said Xemnas, "and..What?"

"I...I don't know..." Naminé stuttered, "I saw him about to put the hat on you and...and...and I just kind of....I don't know....it was like...I could see all the memories chained in his heart and....and I just....they just...exploded...."

Xemnas and Naminé stared at each other, Naminé trying desperately to hold back tears.

 

Luxord's arms were put out to reach the hat before he faceplanted into the claymore. He groaned before he fell back down to the ground with another thump, rubbing his face slightly before scrambling back up to his feet.

 

"NO!"

WHAP!

Xigbar went flying across the room as Saix's claymore slammed into his stomach. He smashed against the hard, cold wall, and slumped to the ground, groaning.

He slowly struggled to his feet again, clutching his throbbing stomach. "B...Bad Saix..." he groaned.

Saix snarled, and started toward the Freeshooter, twirling his claymore in his hand.

Xigbar immediantly began working up a plan to go for the hat again, but nothing came to mind. Oh, god, my stomach... I feel like he split it in two... he thought, pressing his small body against the wall.

 

"Hey! Leave Xigbar alone you meanie!" Luxord shouted before he ran after Saix and tugged on his leg, planning on having him fall face-forward and faceplant into the ground. If successful, it could be a way to get the hat off. If not...they'll have to try something else.

 

Saix, in responce, deftly turned around, and kicked the little Luxord in the jaw. He followed that up by quickly swiping ast boy's head, but, thankfully, Luxord's attack had a little effect, and made him stumble. He missed the top of Luxord's head by a few inches.

Xigbar gasped in panic as Saix regained his balance, and prepared to strike again. NO! I can't let him! How can I save him?! Think, Xiggy, THINK!!!

Finally, it clicked. He concentrated again, and lifted Luxord up again. It was a lot harder this time since he was so badly weakened, but Xigbar's own desperation helped it along.

He jerked Luxord around a little, narrowly dodging Saix's attacks, then shot him back to Xigbar's end. The landing was a bit off, though; he accidently had Luxord crash directly into him.

Xigbar took off the numbing pain forming in his body, and scrambled up. "LUX! You alright?!" he panted, helping the boy up.

Saix was still on the other end of the wall, looking around as if he didn't know where the boy had gone.

Basically, it gives you everything posted in the thread for a whole 24 hours, and automatically sends them to you in an e-mail at midnight. =3 ))

 

Xemnas suddenly realized what was going on around him. He put his hand out towards Saix and attempted to shoot the hat off with a laser. Unfortunately, all it did was cut a hole in the middle of the hat, too far away from the circuitry in the brim.

If I aim any lower, Xemnas thought, he's done for!

 

Vexen's body was covered in darkness; she was traveling through a portal after a long talk with Merlin and Xehanort. She felt a bit numb from the shock of their words; but at the same they had managed to shed light on the mysterious villian, whom she now knew was named Ansem, Xemnas's heartless. As to why he was chasing her, the two were hesitant to say. Any time she would ask about it, Merlin would smirk and Xehanort would blush, but she would not recieve an answer.

After hours together discussing the intruder, they had given her permission to return to the Castle, letting her know that she should be extremely careful and that they would be watching. She had also been given instructions to communicate most of the information to Xemnas.

She trusted Xehanort and Merlin.

Opening her eyes and breathing in fresh air, Vexen had returned to the castle. Before her eyes were Xemnas, Xigbar, Luxord, Saix, a young blonde girl, and a passed out little man who was dressed most curiously. The white haired woman was about to announce her presence when she spotted Saix running towards her at full speed, his face expressionless.

"Sai.....!" She had no time to speak, but rather jumped to the side, slamming down hard on her side. She had been caught completely by surprise, but now she summoned her shield.

"What the hell is going on?!"

OoC: I've been back for a few days now but needed some time to recover so I could write something decent. I'm really happy at all the activity that has been taking place and at all the twists! And yay! Demyxu and PoH are back! I'm glad to be back; now I can continue with my little plot.........

Taking ahold of Naminé, Xemnas portaled to the other side of the room, barely evading Saix. Then he spotted Vexen appear.

"VEXEN!" he yelled, "REMOVE HIS HAT!"

 

Luxord shook his head slightly before looking over to Xigbar. "Yeah...just a little bit of pain. But I'm aight." He moved his attention back over towards Saix, wondering if they'd need all the help they could get to get the hat off of Saix.

 

Vexen assumed that by Saix's crazy behavior and odd hat that Xemnas meant for her to remove his hat. Well this should be easy, she thought.

Running with all her might into the crazed nobody, Vexen rammed into him, her shield sandwiched between the two, and Saix up against a wall. She knew that she had probably just caused some heavy damage to the man, but she was given orders, ones that for once she followed without question. This was probably because they were in her best interest, considering that Saix had nearly killed her.

As the nobody struggled beneath Vexen's surpisongly able might, the woman reached over and around her shield and swiftly removed the hat from Saix's head, which he had neglected to protect since his arms were flailing at his sides. Vexen shook her head. He must have been in berserk mode to leave his weak spot open.

Just as she removed the article of clothing, a rather odd article, the stuggle behind her shield ceased (sp?). Vexen slowly back away from the wall, holding her shield protectively before her...

Saix's eyes quickly turned wide, and blank as the hat was removed off of his head. Slowly, he crumpled to his knees, and fell to the ground.

Xigbar sighed, thankful for Vexen's interlude. "Thanks, Vex... I can see that becoming a girl hasn't effected your fighting abilities any..."

At this, he gave a weak chuckle, but it was quickly cut off by a grimace as he clutched his throbbing stomach again.
