Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

[Yay, our friendly redhead is back XD]

Axel woke up. He found himself in the middle of a hallway in the castle. What happened? Did he just pass out? All he could remember was proposing to Demyx... When did he get back from the restaurant?

"Hello?" He called out, and got up. "Anyone there?"

Sighing, he went down the hall to the kitchen and sat down after getting a glass of milk. What time of the day was it?

 

ooc: sorry yall. i planned on posting earlier, but i wasn't on my computer and it just, like, shut off. but hopefully, i'm back. well, until i leave, but we'll talk more about that later

"Out of the ordinary?" Roxas asked with a little bit of a laugh in the tone of his voice. He turned to Vexen who seemed to be casually playing with his hair. "Vexen, when have things been not out of the ordinary around here?" He laughed for a moment, relieved at the ease that the talking with his friend had brought, and semi-hoped that his partner would laugh too. He had slightly noticed that she had been a tad distracted and not her normal self, but all he knew was that she had another run in with Marluxia, though it had been a while since the whole Marluxia-Vexen ordeal.

Roxas looked around the empty halls of the castle while walking towards the library and decided that it was safe enough to go ahead and start talking. "Well, to be honest, I've been having these weird thoughts lately. And I've been wondering if any of these are real or not." He chose to look at the ground while walking to the library. He wasn't sure that he could look his now-white-headed counterpart in the eyes while confessing his latest thoughts. "Well, I guess you could say these thoughts are more like nightmares. And they come every night and I just can't take it anymore. In these nightmares, a black figure is chasing me. But I don't know what he wants."

By that time, they had reached the library and Roxas reached for the door and let Vexen walk in before him. "And I just, I don't know. You don't happen to know what's going on, do you?" He looked at Vexen with wanting eyes, begging for knowledge and understanding of this matter. He just hoped that his desperation wasn't too obvious.

 

Saix sighed - no luck of finding anyone yet... He shoved his hands into his pockets, and stared at the ceiling as he continued wandering down the halls. I should have known - any sensible (SP?) Nobody would be in bed getting some much0needed rest at this time of night...

He blinked. Speaking of which... He checked his watch, quickly. "Wow... 3:46 a.m.... I am NOT going to want to wake up tomorrow... Uh... Today...?" He shook his head. I'm thinking too much again...

His stomach rumbled. Hmmm... I'm sure no one would mind if I had a little mid-night snack... he thought as he started for the kitchen.

(( Grawr, that sucks crap... XD; ))

 

"Well that's just the strange of it, isn't it?" said Xemnas, "That's why I didn't want to discuss it yet. There are too many holes in the theory that you could drive a large vehicle through. And as much research as I have done and have been doing, there's still no way of knowing everything about the heart."

Xemnas sighed. "I'm getting tired, my old friend. I'm going to bed. You're welcome to stay up here and finish off the bottle."

And with that, Xemnas retreated to his room where he fell into a deep sleep.

Axel threw his cup in the sink when done. "Ehh, someone'll get it..." He got up and stretched. "Nyu..." He started out the kitchen when he bumped into someone, knocking them over. He blinked before realizing who it was. "Saix?" He stumbled up and sighed. He hadn't seen the scarred man in quite a bit of time.

 

Vexen was relieved when Roxas answered her question so casually. She relaxed a little and let go of her bleached hair, rejoicing in the moment. Then, her friend began to speak.

His confession proved a bit disturbing, and only reminded her too much of her own encounter with a strange figure. The woman hoped that this was only a coincidence. She made her way into the library, not knowing what to say to the nobody. He seemed so in need of advice.

"Roxas..." She led the way to a small table cornered by a high window. The pitch black of the night only accented the various diamond stars. "Are you saying that these things are in your dreams?.... or nightmares?" Vexen sat. "Well, I suppose they could be just that, nightmares."

She looked into the boys eyes and knew that her explanation would not suffice. She very much doubted it herself. Here in castle oblivion, nothing was ever that simple. "But, they could also be premonitions." That answer seemed much more likely. "Everything has been crazy recently, I wouldn't doubt that these 'nightmares' could really be trying to tell you something. Tell me more about them." Vexen was so engaged in the conversation that she was forgetting all of her worries.

Xigbar watched the older man go. "G'night, Xemnas..." he whispered, long after he was gone. He looked back up at Kingdom Hearts for a couple more minutes, drinking directly out of the bottle. There was a thoughtfully look in his eyes as he rolled about the ideas he'd heard in his head. Before he knew it, he'd fallin' asleep right in the chair, clutching the bottle to his chest.

"... Axel...?" Oh, jeez... This wasn't exactly the person he wanted to talk to about something a ridiculous as his dream...

"Uh... I was just..." He glanced around a little. "gonna make a sandwitch... Yeah, that's it..."

He chuckled nervously a little bit, then suddenly snapped on the poor redhead. "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! What dream?! I didn't have a dream about you being Shakira the second!"

Awkward silence.

He rushed to the refrigerator, and started browsing through the items in it. "You... Didn't... Hear... Anything."

Axel watched Saix in total confusion. What is HE on? The redhead thought.

"Shakira? That ****? Disgusting." He sighed. "Are you okay?" The flame went up to Saix and put a hand on his shoulder. "Seriously..."

 

Saix involentarily flinched at Axel's touch. He... wasn't used to people touching him... "I'm fine..." he murmured, staring into the fridge.

Silence for a second. He sighed. "Well, actually..." He closed the fridge door softly, turning back to the redhead. "There is one thing that's been... uh... bothering me..."

 

Axel put his and down. Sighing, he said, "You're not having girl problems are you? Because, I'm homo, I don't do that stuff." He grabbed the salt shaker off of the table and statrted to play with it.

 

"Uh... Not really..." Saix's mind instinctly flashed back to Asagi, but he quickly pushed that out of his mind. "It's just that..." He smacked his forehead, smiling, and said, "I had the strangest dream just now... And I have this nagging feeling to tell someone about it... It's pretty idiotic, if you ask me..."

 

Axel slapped himself into a chair. "Okay? What is it?" He started to clack the salt and pepper shakers together.

 

"Okay, you asked for it..." Saix sighed, then started slowly, "I... Had a dream... That..." He took a deep breath, then blurted it out as fast as humanly possible.

"IhadadreamthatthewholeOrganizationwasdressedindrag, yesincludingmeandvenVexenandLarxen, buttheywerelikesomekindahard-corgangstasorsomething!!!!!!!"

He panted, trying to restore the natural color to his face. After a few awkward moments, he continued, "Um... We were walking around all normal and everything… Well... As normal as 11 guys and 2 women dressed in drag CAN be, anyways… And, uh... I'm pretty sure that The Rock’s wrestler theme music was playing in the background as we walked… As we walked, there was these little… Midget… Asian people runnin around and kicking us on the back of our knees… Like... Up to Roxas' knees midget midgets, and uh... suprisingly, I didn't spear them through the middle with ANYTHING, I just... Ya know... Asked the Superior why they were kicking us... And, uh... I started realizing that, everytime they kicked me, I got this irresistible urge to laugh… But… for some reason I knew I just COULDN’T… So, Xemnas told me that it was to make us smile or show our teeth in any way, and that would tell them if we were guys or not… And... And something about grillz. The end."

He gave Axel a look that read, "Told ya so..."

Axel wasn't amused. "Uh-huh..."

He sat up and looked Saix straight in the eyes. "And why were you dieing to tell that to someone?"

Saix struck a thoughtful position. "I... I don't know..." He didn't, either... Usually, he wasn't a very... sociable person. Why the sudden change, he couldn't say...

 

Axel gave a deep sigh. "Saix, I think I know what it is..." Silence.

"I think... you're homosexual."

 

Saix had the claymore at Axel's neck before you could blink. "What exactly IS it that you're tryin' ta say, Number VIII...?" he growled. His voice was dangerously low.

Entering Berserk Mode in 10... 9... 8...

 

Axel tilted his head. "HEy, man, it's called being sarcastic." He grinned. Playing with others was always fun. "Words can't hurt you."

 

Saix narrowed his eyes, and glared at Axel for a few seconds... Then dismissed the claymore with a grunt. Damn... I was all ready to castrate someone, too.....

"Well, they may not be able to hurt me, Number VIII, but they can certainly hurt YOU," he replied, crossing his arms moodily.

And NOW, he was all growly again. Great job, Axel.

 

Axel shook his head, calmly. "No, not really."
