Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

"Oh yes," said Xemnas, "He was a real creep too. I sliced him up like a holiday ham, but not before he had a chance to trick me into eating a rufie-laced cheesecake."

Xemnas blinked.

"Didn't I say this when you ran into me earlier?"

 

Axel whipped Luxord's tears and held him against his chest. "Shh, we'll find him," He assured Luxord, "Everything will be alright." He smiled at him, lightly.

 

"Hmph... You said something about a cake, yes, but you never told me about a pedophile..." Saix muttered. He balled up his fists again, staring out into space. "Heh... If only I was there...." he murmured, his eyes blazing. "I would have shown that little ****er what true pain is all about..." He lapsed into silence again... Only God knew what was going through his mind at that moment...

 

"Ho, believe me, I already did. I took my time with him. Do you remember the torture scene from 'A Clockwork Orange'? It was kind of like that. I even sang 'Singin' in the Rain.' It felt good."

Xemnas sighed.

"I only wish I had gotten there earlier. I didn't believe Xigbar at first. Mr. Creepy came with some story that Xig had vandalized his house or something. I'm a fool."

Luxord looked back up Axel, tears still running down his face. "B-But... I already looked everywhere for him! He's not here.... I'm so worried!" His big, blue eyes shimmered with tears. Even while crying, he was undeniablely (SP?) cute.

Saix looked back at Xemnas, a little suprised. He looked down for a moment, thinking then said in a soft voice, "Xemnas... You shouldn't blame yourself...." He smiled a little. "It's not like it's below Xigbar to vandalize someone's house just out of boredom, is it? That little rogue..." He chuckled, a little, and then added, "It's no one's fault but that creep's. You saved Xigbar..."

Xigbar rubbed his eyes, and forced himself to sit up. "Wha'.... Nyuh....?" he asked, drowsily. He looked around. He was still in the bookstore. There was a woman, about in her mid 50s standing over him. She had dark grey hair, and dark blue eyes that sparkled with youthful energy dispite her age. Xigbar drew back a little. "Who are you...?" he asked suspiciously.
"I'm the manager of this place, runt," she answered back, bluntly. "The store closed, about, half an hour ago. I was just about to leave, when I noticed there was some little pipsqueak snoozing in the corner."
Xigbar stood up, rubbing his eyes somemore. "Well, uh... Sorry, I guess..."
"Don't be... Just get out."
No mercy, eh, old hag? Xigbar thought, giving her an icy glare. "Before I leave, could you tell me what time it is?"
"The time? Kid, it's after 10 P.M! Your parents are probaly worried to tears over you!"

"But I don't have..." He stopped. He was about to say he didn't have parents, but he thought that would be suspicious. ".... Have ...Have ...Have to go to bed until 11!"
The lady rolled her eyes, smiling faintly. "Get outta here, kid! Most likely, they've already gone to the police..."
"O-Okay..." he said, standing up. Where was he gonna go now? He still didn't want to go home... He still felt bad... Maybe he'd just walk around in the city. "I guess I'll just-" His stomach growled loudly. "Ugh...." He groaned holding it.
The lady looked at him strangely. "You okay, kid?"
"Uh... Yeah, yeah. Just... Hungry...." Xigbar replied, holding his stomach. It growled again, even louder than before.
"What, you got a lion caged in there, kid?!" she asked. "Look, go home and get some food, NOW. You're scaring ME with that crap..." She escorted him to the door.

"Okay..." said Xigbar, starting out the door.
"You take care, now, okay, runt?"

Xigbar smiled a little. "Okay...!" He waved, and wandered off.

 

Axel continued to wipe Luxord's tears. "Don't worry..." He said, "I'll help you find him okay. And Demyx can help, too." He looked up at Demyx and hoped he would. The redhead looked back down at Luxord and rubbed his back, trying to sooth him.

 

Luxord looked up, at Axel, his eye shining with gratitude. "You... You'd really do that, Axel?" He smiled agin, and buried his face into the redhead's chest. "Thank you.... So much..." He was crying again, but this time with joy.

Axel smiled at the gambler. "You're very welcome." He replied and continued to hug him. The happieness in Luxord's eyes touched the redhead, because it was so damn cute and innocent.

Xemnas sighed. "I suppose you're right. I'm just mad that I let Scott trick me. I mean, I should be smarter than this, right?"

He slumped back in his lounge chair. "I hope Xig's okay..."

 

Vexen found herself in her room. She was aware of herself now and could not believe what she had just done. She barely knew what she had just done. All she knew was that she was tired. She walked into her bathroom, bathed herself in ice cold water, dried off, and plopped onto her bed. This day had been a living hell for her.

She drifted off into a deep sleep, still weak from the exertion her power use had put on her body. She was so deep into her sleep that she could not hear the small chuckle behind her, nor see the shadow that swam over her.

"So, Vexen, it seems you're more persistant than I had originally thought. Well, I'll just have to try harder this time." A sly smile crept over the figure's face as it stood but inches away from the sleeping scientist.

OoC: Sorry that it took so long for me to post. I've been super busy. My posts may be less frequent these next couple of months, but I'm still here. I haven't gone anywhere or quit the RP, k? I don't plan to do that for a long, long, long, long, long, long, long-x-infinity time.

 

((( HUZZAH!!! XDDDDD Um... I'm really tired today since I'm used to going to sleep 2 hours before I had to wake up this morning, but I'ma go 'head an' post while my sugar rush lasts, m'kay? XDDD)))

Luxord sighed happily, then drew back from Axel. Instinctly, he plopped his thumb inside his mouth and started sucking. He stared at the redhead for a while, still smiling, then back at Demyx and said, "I'll finish looking through the castle... You can look somewhere else if you want!" He smiled again, and threw his arms around Axel's neck in a joyful hug. "Thanks, again, Axel!" he chirped. Then, he ran off, his morale boosted once more.

Saix sighed. "I'm sure he'll be okay now.... He will be a lot more suspicious of anyone now, am I right...?" After another pause, he cocked his head to the side, and asked, "Would it make you feel better if I went to look for him...?" He was enjoying this time alone with Xemnas, but he'd go without question if Xemnas told him to.

Xigbar counted on his fingers, trying to figure out something. Okay, let's see... It's after 10 right now... When I got here, it was around sunset... Sunset is about 5:30, so I've been gone around.... He blinked. I've been gone for almost 5 hours! He thought about this, troubled, when his thoughts shifted to his dream earlier. It was so weird... he thought. Why would I try to kill Luxord...? Dreams really are strange... I mean...

That's when he realized where he was. While he was walking around, he'd accidentally wandered into the... Food court.

His stomach roared. Xigbar groaned and held onto it, whimpering. "Ugh... No... No, no, no.... I can't... I don't have any money... I'd just be torturing myself...."
Go... It won't kill you...
"I gotta resist the urge... I can't..."
C'mon... Ya know you want to...
"But... I shouldn't...."
Samples, Xiggy... Samples!
Silence.
SAMPLEZ!!!!!!!!!!!

There was no need to try to resist. Before long, Xigbar was wandering down the streets, his eyes wide, looking at all of the delicious food he knew he couldn't have.

Xemnas thought for a second.

"No, Saix," he said at leingth, "I want to know where he is, but I don't want him to think I don't trust him. I gave him my word."

Xemnas thought a moment longer.

"If he's not back by morning, we'll organize the whole castle in a search."

 

Luxord scrambled down the hallways of the castle, still looking for Xigbar. "Maybe he's doing sneaky in someone's room..." he wondered aloud. He seriously doubted it, but he knew he wouldn't be able to rest until he searched ever inch. He opened up Roxas's room. "Xigbar...? You in here...?" no answer. He ran inside, did a quick check, then gave up and went to the next room. "Yoo-hoo...! Xigbar...?" He opened Larxene's door. Nothing. He did a quick search there, too, then shrugged and left.

"Xiggy...?" He cracked open Marluxia's door. He didn't see Marly because of the darkness, and no one said anything, so he assumed this room was empty, too. He stapped in, looking around. Suddenly, he realized the wall was covered with vines. But it was almost completely pitch black!

"Well, that's weird..." he murmured. "I thought plants needed LIGHT to grow..."

Saix stared at Xemnas for a while, then sat back, sighing. "If you insist, Xemnas..." He drank the rest of his soda, and sat there, watching Kingdom Hearts grow.

"Saix?" Xemnas asked after what felt like forever. "I've got a question, and it might seem a little weird. I can't believe I'm even saying this..."

His hand clutched the spot on his cloak where he knew Naminé's drawing was.

"...do you remember ever feeling love? Anything like a romantic attraction?"

Saix slowly turned his head and stared at Xemnas. Then, he looked down, his eyes wandering across the floor. After being silent a few moments, he finally looked back up at Xemnas, and murmured, "Yes, actually... I do..." He sighed, leaning back. Suddenly, he felt kind of... anxious. "... Why do you ask, Superior...?"

 

((OOC: What makes you think the RP is dying? It better not, I've been trying too long to get in here...))

"Oh," said Xemnas, "I'm just wondering what it felt like. I met this girl today, she's young, but she's sharp. Thinking about her feels strange, and I'm worried it might be...but I don't recall ever feeling romantic love, so I might just be paranoid. So I asked you to, you know, compare notes."

Xemnas sighed and sat back. "It's probably nothing. I don't even know why I brought it up. Besides, I'm probably old enough to be the girl's grandfather by now. It just wouldn't do."

Though his face was the definition of decisivness, in his mind he felt like what he just said was somehow...incorrect.

 

((You're right... Maybe it is just a slow spot... -_- I've been hanging out with emo people too long. XD))

Xigbar walked around, eyes wide as grapefruits, as he stared at all of delicious food being displayed. His stomach was killing him, and his mouth was watering enough to fill a pool in 15 minutes from all of the smells...

He caught sight of a man handing out samples, and rushed over. The man was handing out samples to everyone as usual, when he looked down, and saw a kid with yellow eyes as wide as Texas staring at him. "Can... Can I...?" the kid asked.
The guy blinked. "Uh... Do you have your parents with you...?" he asked, slightly embarrassed.
The kid just shaked his head and said, softly, "B-But can I have one anyway...?"
The guy sighed. "Uh, sorry, kid... We're not allowed to give out samples to you unless your parents are around. Company policy. Sorry."
Xigbar gave the guy the most pitiful look he'd ever seen. "O...Kay..." he whimpered.
The man watched him walk off. I have the feeling that I'm doing something really bad... he thought.

Xigbar walked along, staring at all of the delicious foods he knew he could never have, when he felt someone staring at him. He whipped around, and found a girl, about his current age, licking on the biggest... Lollipop... He'd ever seen. Ever.

She had bright blue eyes, and dirty blonde hair tied up neatly in two ponytails sticking out to the side. She had on a fluffy black dress, and frilled white socks with shiny black shoes to match.

She blinked, and stared at him. Xigbar stared at her for a few seconds, but then his his eyes drifted down to her lollipop. They stood like that for a while, but then the girl spoke. "HI! I'm Shayna!" she said, loudly. She had a sweet voice... Loud, but sweet.
Xigbar raised his eyebrow, then said, "Uh... Hi. I'm Xi--"
"Are you a boy or a girl???"
Xigbar winced a little, and stared at her. "Uh..." he started, "I'm a boy. My name's Xigbar."
The girl leaned forward, now staring at his eyes. "Your eyes are all weird looking! Why are they yellow?"
Xigbar blinked, then thought hard about that question. "Hmmm... Well, now that you mention it, I don't know why my eyes are like--"
"I like you! You're cute! You wanna be my boyfriend?"

Xigbar flinched again, then stepped back a little. "Whoa, WHOA! Boyfriend?!"
"Yep."
Xigbar shook his head. "Nah, I'm sorry. You're waaay too young for me."
Shayna cocked her head to the side. "Hmmm...?"
"Look, I'm not really this age. I'm older than this. A lot older."
"Then what happened to you? Are you a midget?"
"No, I..." He drifted off, then thought. "Actually, I dunno what happened..." He didn't. He was pretty intoxicated when he'd eaten the candy, so he didn't remember he'd eaten it, or the fact that they existed at all. He snapped back to attention. "Besides, don't you think you're too little to be dating, young lady?"

"LITTLE!?!" Shayna loudly protested. "For your information, I am 6 and a half! So there!" She stuck out her tongue. "'Sides... How old are YOU?"
Xigbar blinked, and looked down. "Well, uh... Today was my birthday, so if I was big again, then I'd be 47. BUT... Seeing that I've been little-a-tized, then right now, I'd be... about... uh..... Five...?"
"HA! I win!" Shayna gloated.
Xigbar sighed, and rolled his eyes.
"You wanna walk around?" Shayna asked, smiling.
Xigbar shrugged. "Sure. I got nothin' better to do..."

The two walked off, Shayna talking non-stop about something that happened to her the week before.

Saix blinked, staring into Xemnas's eyes, trying to gouge more information, but it was like trying to shoot fish in a barrel... With a straw and some spitballs. He sighed and leaned back, closing his eyes. He thought about how it felt - to be in love like that again.

After a while, he said, "It feels like.... Like you have a dozen butterflies stuck inside of your chest the first time you meet them... It's strange, almost like your mouth has been turned into cotten when you try to talk to them... And then... Once you do, it's like you can never stop. You talk on and on to them about absolutely nothing at all - like you've known them forever when you've actually known them for a few minutes. And the crazy thing is, neither of you mind."

His eyes opened slowly, staring out into space. And... When you kiss..." He shook his head. "... Words can't explain that..."

Suddenly, he hunched forward, and ran his fingers through his hair. Remembering what it felt like to love was... Actually kind of... Painful for him... Knowing what it felt like, completely and fully - and not being able to experiance it ever again because he "wasn't supposed to exist"... It hurt.

Forcing his breathing to remain stable, he looked up at the giant heart again. "...I ...I want to feel it again... So much..." he whispered, sadly.

(( .... *feels sorry for Saix now* ))

 

Xemnas blinked as he listened to Saix's description. Oh, crap in a barrel, he thought, for it seemed like a pretty fair match for what he was feeling.

Trying to shift the focus from himself, he said "Who was it, if you don't mind telling?"

 

"Uuuuuuughhhhhhhnnnnnnnn... " Saix groaned, looking down. WHY is Xemnas so... So... So pushy today? He liked his privacy... He'd rather be mysterious to everyone than be out in the spotlight like some of the others. It suited him. He was as mysterious as the dark side of the moon, after all. But he'd remembered how upset Xemnas had gotten before, and he was NOT going through that again.

He twiddled his fingers a bit. "Well..." he muttered, "If you MUST know... It was a woman... Her name was... Was..." he racked his mind. What WAS her name...? he asked himself.

After a moment, he remembered. A soft little smile fluttered onto his lips. "Oh, yes... I remember now..." he said softly. "Asagi.... Asagi Ayase...." He closed his eyes and shook his head slightly, still smiling. "I don't know how I forgot... She was so beautiful... She was tall, and thin, but she had this powerful presence about her still... She had this hair... It felt like silk, I swear.... It was completely jet black like the darkest of nights. She let it hang around her shoulders usually... And... And her eyes-- I'm sorry, am I going too far with this???" he asked, suddenly aware of Xemnas's presence again. He started to blush slightly, as he looked up at his Superior. Fool... prattling on like that - as if you were alone... He scolded himself in his mind.
