Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

((Uh... I got permission from Celeste to use Luxord! So... Please dun hurt me! @_@' ))

Luxord looked up at Xemnas, a panicked expression on his face. "Me?! I... I didn't do anything!" he whimpered. "I-I was just... Well, I... I woke up, and here I was in Vexen's Lab, and Xigbar was sitting there looking all weirdandIaskedhimwhatwaswrongandheattackedmesoIhithimandhesnappedoutofitand, and....!" he gasped for breath a while, then continued. "AndheaskedwhatwaswrongandItoldhimhebeatmeupandhesaid hewassorryandthatweshouldgobuthenhewentallcrazyagainandwe'vebeenfightingsence!!!" He panted a while, trying to restore the natural color to his face. It was embarrasing being held by Xemnas like that... He felt almost like a new-born kitten being helf by the scruff of his neck by his mother or something...

Xigbar was thrashing around even more by now, as if posessed. Luxord stared at him, worried. What WAS it that was making him act like this...?

 

Xemnas listened to the young Luxord and amazingly found that he could understand the child despite the speed at which he was speaking. He looked from one to the other.

"I have an idea. Luxord, could you slap Xigbar in the face? It might snap him out of it. I'd do it myself, but my hands are full."

Xemnas moved Luxord closer to Xigbar, and unfortunately had to do some creative arm movements to keep Luxord from getting hit.

 

Vexne continued walking through the halls, glad that she had not had anymore visions in a while. But it seems she thought too soon. Just as she said to herself that she was grateful that these episodes were over, she fell to the floor, entering a state of sleep.

She shivered. Looking around herself she realized that she was shrouded in darkness. "Where am I?" Her voice reverberated in the open space.

She turned to her left, then to her right, then even looked up. She soon realized that there was no direction in this realm. She was beginning to loose her wits when something bright caught her attention. Looking below her flaoting feet, she saw a small light. It was growing, and before she could even think the thing swallowed her whole.

When before she was in darkness, now she was in pure light. Warm swam through her. A small voice spoke, not in any language, but nonetheless it spoke.

"Vexen..." It sounded like an echo, an explosion, a whistle, and silence all at once. "Vexen, hello."

"What?"

"Vexen, dear, you are having troubles, are you not?" It seemed to chuckle, a noise so beautiful to the confused scientist. The woman was not afraid of this voice. She felt that it was all good. "Listen to me. Be careful. Your past is chasing after you after all these years, just as your memories are once again finding a place within you. Dear, keep close to those you love. And trust yourself."

"Who... who are you?"

"I am you."

Vexen did not understand. "What do you mean?"

"You see, the being is made of three essential ingrediants. First, the flesh. You are the flesh. Then, there is the heart."

"Are you my heartless, like Xemnas's and Marluxia's heartlesses?"

"No, though you are very close. I am not your heartless, rather I am your heart."

"My heart?"

"Yes. It seems that we were separated many years ago, but we are still connected."

Vexen's pulse sped. Her heart was speaking to her. The thing which she most desired was in contact with her. "Whereareyou? HowcanIgetyouback? Whashou..."

"Vexen, dear, quite now. I do not know the answer to your questions, for if I did I would no longer be separated from you."

Disappointment stabbed Vexen, but the feeling of bliss that this place elicited in her helped her to overcome this. "You said that there are three ingrediants to a being. What is the third?"

"The soul."

"And where is our soul?"

"I do not know. But now, dear Vexen, you must wake. Danger lurks close to you. Please, you will soon see sense in all of this, but now, wake."

And she did. Vexen found herself on the floor and she rose. She had trouble believing what she had just experienced, but it was true. She had spoken with her heart.

It had spoken of danger. "It must have been talking about all these visions I've been having." The image of this white-haired figure returned to her, sending a chill down her spine. "Who is that?" And although she asked, she did not want to find out.

Her mind consumed in thought, she continued walking down the hall, searching for Marluxia.

 

Luxord made a sound resembling a 'meep'. "What? I can't smack Xig! He's my best friend!" he said, putting his arms out towards Xigbar, but when he almost got hit in the head he thought that he didn't have any other choice. He didn't want to do this, but if it snapped Xigbar out of it it might be good. He withdrawn his arm and moved it forward, slapping Xigbar across the face.

 

Xigbar was twisting around as the slap came. His eyes widened, and his body involentarily (SP? XD) jerked, and he twisted out of Xemnas's grasp. The back of his head smashed against the hard tile floor with a THWACK!!!

He was silent a while, staring into space and not moving an inch. He didn't even blink. Then, his eyes came into focus, and he sat up blinking a little. He groaned, the rubbed the back of his head. "Ugh.... What hit me? A freight train...?"

He looked up, "..... Xemnas...?" He saw a large bruise starting to form on his cheek. He gasped, standing up. "L... LUXORD?!" His face was even worse than before now. Xigbar started to stumble backwards, glancing at both of their faces - first Luxord's then Xemnas's. "I... I did it again, didn't I?" he asked in a weak, shrill voice. He was almost hysterical by now.

He tripped on something and fell down. He hugged his knees and buried his face in his arms.

"I'm... I'm so sorry... I didn't...I just wanted to..."

 

Xemnas let Luxord down gently and said quietly "It would be best if you stayed here too, at least until we've got this sorted out."

He then rushed to Xigbar. Putting his hands on Xigbar's shoulders, he tried to comfort the young one.

"Xigbar, it's okay, everything's okay. We're not mad, and we're not going to hurt you. Now, Xigbar, this is really important. What just happened with you?"

Xigbar bit his bottem lip, trying not to cry. He slowly looked up, glanced at Xemnas's face, then buried his head down back into his arms again. He couldn't bare looking at that bruise on Xemnas's face.... It just reminded him how much of a monster he'd become.

He was silent a moment, then whispered, "I... I don't know what happened... I don't remember anything... Honest....." He was silent a while more, sniffed, then whimpered, "Maybe I should just go... I'm not doing anything but causing trouble...."

 

Marluxia's mind was floating in a dark area. He had been floating there for quite some time. He felt sleepy but tried his hardest to stay awake. He was at the point of becoming digested by the darkness completely.

Nothing but darkness. For some reason, it felt relaxing. All his worries disappeared. His memories where fading. The Castle, the garden, the organization... Vexen...

That's it... forget about the most important things in your life. They are your weaknesses. You must get rid of them.

 

Luxord took a seat on the floor, but it wasn't long before he jumped up and went next to Xigbar and gave him a hug, trying to comfort him the best he could. "Don't cry...you'll make me cry and then that's not good..." he said softly before continuing to huggle.

 

Xemnas smiled.

"You see Xigbar? There are people here who care about you, and want to help you. Two of them are looking at you."

Xemnas put his hand on Xigbars shoulder and continued, "And you're not the only one who's been going a little crazy lately. If you can remember anything, anything at all, it would help everyone a great deal."

Xemnas tried his best to look serious but nonthreatening.

 

Xigbar gasped a little, then turned and looked at Luxord, who was holding him. Then, he looked up at Xemnas. Well, we've already gone over Luxord... Let's see about Xemnas. Xemnas has been your best pal since, like, before you were a Nobody, talked to you, saved you from a friggen' pedophile, and is now trying to help your stupid *** out even though YOU punched his lights out. And you can't even help him by remembering ONE stupid thing?
Ha.

Pathetic.

Xigbar tried again to remember what had heppened, but it was no use. "I'm... I'm sorry, Xemnas...!" he whimpered. The room was starting to get blurry with his tears. "I... I can't remember anything...!" He hugged Luxord back a little. "I'm so sorry that I dragged you both into this... I... I just wanted to talk to Luxord about..." he trailed off. "Nevermind... It doesn't really matter anymore, right...?" He quickly wiped his eyes and stood up, shakily. "Right..."

He sighed, then said, "Look, I don't wanna hurt anyone else while I'm here.... I'm gonna go away - B-But just for a little bit!" he added quickly. "Just enough time to get my thoughts together... I'll be okay... Really..."

Before anything else could be said, he opened another portal and walked through. He arrived at the market place in Hallow Bashion. He looked around the crowded city, sighed, then sat down on a nearby bench. He swung his legs slowly, and gloomily stared down at his hands. Then, he sighed, and rested his head in his palms. "This is the worst birthday ever..." he mumbled at the ground.

Not only was it the worst, but, by far, the loneliest, too.

*dodges all of the knives and other flying sharp objects thrown at her* ))

 

Vexen had been searching for Marluxia, but when she finally realized where she was she found herself at her laboratory. She was far from her flower's room. Alright, I'll just have to try portalling there. Closing her eyes, she concentrated very hard. She felt a build up of darkness but in the end she lacked the energy to portal.

Vexen sighed. She looked behind her, thinking of the long way she would have to walk to reach Marluxia. And all she wanted to do was sleep. "Screw it!" She did not need to see the pink-haired man at that moment. She opened the door to her lab...

...only to find two small organization members and Xemnas. ****! She did not need to see him now, of all people! Freezing in place, she hoped no one would notice that she had entered. Maybe I can slip out undetected?

 

Xemnas sighed, and looked up to see Vexen. She looked terrified. He smiled sadly at her.

"Hello there. A little late, aren't we?" Xemnas chuckled depressingly. "Ahh...no matter. I think they can stand another day as children. I'm sorry about earlier. You know how I get a temper when things don't go my way."

Xemnas went over to Vexen and hugged her tightly for a moment, before letting her go and saying "Sometimes I think I treat you all too harshly. You have no idea how much you all mean to me, and that's anohter reason why I get so upset when...ahh, you don't care."

He smiled sadly at Vexen, then went over to pick up his Hot Topic bag.

"I should probably warn you that Marluxia is being possessed by some evil force, most likely a shadow of his Hearltess, and the both of you should be on your guard. Xigbar's been acting strangely and I wouldn't be surpised to find the two of you at each other's throats later. Nevertheless, I must ask you both to be cautious. I'm done for today."

Xemnas looked at them both sadly.

"If you need anything," he said, "Just whistle."

Xemnas focused all his power to track the dark portal Xigbar used and ended up right in front of the bench Xigbar was sitting at.

Well, that's certainly convenient, thought Xemnas.

"Before you say anything, here."

Xemnas tossed Xigbar the bag with the Invader Zim shirt he had purchised earlier.

"Happy Birthday, Xigbar. And sorry again for not believing you about Scott. When you're ready to talk, I'll be in the usual spot. Take your time until then, and be careful."

Without waiting for a reply, Xemnas portaled to a small patio on top of Castle Oblivion which overlooked Kingdom Hearts. He poured himself a glass of orange soda from the bottle he kept up there, sat back in the lawn chair, and admired the growing collection of hearts. He thought of all that had happened today, of Xigbar, and Scott, and Marluxia, and Naminé.

Then his thoughts turned to the heart that was at the center of the growing masterpiece he was staring at.

 

Vexen cringed when the man hugged her. She felt a rage overtake her slowly. Her body temperature rose and she could feel violence begging to be released. She wanted to rip him to shreds.

But then the leader said something before he left that caused Vexen's feeling's to completely change from anger to worry. Marluxia, possessed again?! The scientist did not even acknowledge the toddler in the room with her. She attempted to portal, but finding she still could not she ran out to find her pink-haired man.

Something was urging her forward, a force that was not her own.

Making her way down the halls, she did not even consider the fact that Marluxia might hurt her. All she wanted to do was help him. Allowing a strange surge of power take over her, she found herseld outside the man's room. Not waiting another second the woman conjured hundreds of ice shards to blast away the door.

Her eyes were ice-blue and her blood was cold. The changed woman saw a jungle of vines covering every inch of Marluxia's room. She had not even spotted the object of her desire when her new found power took control and began to freeze everything in the room.

 

Marluxia didn't recognize the woman who entered the room. All he knew was that she was trespassing. He raised his arm, and commanded one of the vines to squeeze her neck.

 

Axel finished his meal and smiled at Demyx. "What do yo want to do after this, monkey?" He asked, ever so kindly. "We can go home and do somthing, and tell the others of the good news..."

 

Demyx looked up and nodded at Axel. "If you want to go home and tell the others, that's fine by me." He responded and smiled. He slid a few items of cutlery into his pockets before rising to leave.

 

When the woman came to give them the bill, Axel paid it and they were off. He held onto Demyx's hand and opened a portal to the castle. The next thing he knew, they were in the living room of Castle Oblivion.

Axel smiled once more and kissed Demyx. "What do you want to do?"

 

Vexen had lost control. She no longer cared about finding and helping Marluxia. In fact, at that point she did not even know who Marluxia was. All she knew was that something was attacking her. Screaming in a bloody rage, Vexen iced the entire room, stopping the approaching vine.

Not able to control herself, she concentrated so much that she portalled away.

OoC: Sorry, but I had to cut this short. I'm giving a warning that I may not be able to post for about two weeks. Its a personal matter. So if I don't, I've portalled Vexen off somwhere and you guys can just go along without her for the time being. Thanx!

 

Xemnas was trying desperately to ignore the sounds of battle from the lower floors.

Nope, not going to do anything unless they come for me, he thought, They can handle it.

He closed his eyes and relaxed.
