Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

Axel set the ring on the table and moved his head up to Demyx's. He pressed his lips against his future husband's to show him how happy he was, for words could not express his joy.

Luxord held back shouts of pain, but took advantage of the situation when Xigbar froze. He kicked him in the gut hard enough to send him flying then got up. He walked over to him and put his foot on his chest, pinning him down without the use of his hands. "Knock it off Xigbar! I don't like hitting ya!"

 

Xigbar glared at Luxord with a silent, burning rage, then grabbed his leg with both of his hands. Xigbar started todig his nails in, growling. He narrowed his eyes, then yanked his leg to the side, making him fall down. Before Luxord could move, he scrambled on top of him and sat on his chest. Then Xigbar grabbed Luxords shoulders, and started banging his head on the hard floor. He was grinding his teeth together and growling like a wild animal now.

 

Xemnas sighed.

"Well, this has been the best evening I've had in a while," he said, "but I have responsibilities I have to get back to."

"The pleasure was all mine," said Naminé. "It's not everyday you meet your favorite author, and have him teach you how to kick butt."

They smiled at each other.

"I'll miss you..." Naminé said.

"You'll see me tomorrow," said Xemnas, though he knew he'd miss her too.

Xemnas turned to leave when he heard Naminé's voice behind him sing softly.

"Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn?..."

Xemnas joined "Remember how she said that we would meet again some sunny day..."

They sang together softly

"Vera! Vera! What has become of you?
Does anybody else in here feel the way I do?"

They regarded each other sadly. Xemnas smiled. Then he turned and walked away.

Turning down a deserted bathroom, Xemnas sighed and opened a portal to Vexen's Laboratory.

 

After some time and when Vexen became aware enough to worry about her own well-being, she had regained just enough strength to portal, but because she was so weak, she had little control of this skill. She ended up three feet in the air over warm sand. Atleast its warm here.

Laying for a few hours to build strength, she finally found it in herself to sit up. Surveying her environment, her eyes swallowed in the perfect vision of a clear blue ocean, accented by a setting sun and various faunas, green with colored flowers. But where before she would have enjoyed such a scene, she only found herself consumed by an unexplainable fear. She did not know what had brought on her attack of Axel, for she now knew that she had attacked him. She also did not understand her various visions. Were they or were they not real? And who were they of?

Her head began to pound. Standing, she realized she was thirsty and hungry. "I wonder if there's a town nearby. I don't think I have enough power to portal back to the castle." She hardly even knew if she wanted to return to the castle, not when she thought about Xemnas. But thinking of a certain pink-haired flower encouraged her to find a way back home.

For now, she would search for a town, nourish herself, and maybe find someplace to rest. She would also try to figure out what in the hell was going on with her.

"This is all too much..."

Xemnas surveyed the scene: Xigbar acting like a wild animal, and Luxord cowering in fear.

Oh god, what now? he thought, Do I even let them know I'm here?

Xemnas decided to wait in the shadows gathering intelligence. He wouldn't reveal himself until one of them either tried to leave or seemed to be in serious danger.

 

It wasn't long before Marluxia would wake up. He got up and looked around, as he summoned more vines and thorns to appear in his room.

"What do you want?" He said in his mind.

Control.

Axel moved his head back and ran his fingers through Demyx's hair. "I couldn't be luckier." He said and put his arms aroun him. "I love you...."

 

Demyx felt so overwhelmed in happiness that he could cry in Axel's arms. He looked around and noticed that a couple of people were looking at them. "I guess we're causing a scene." He thought, "Oh well."

"I love you too." Demyx replied as he kissed his lover's cheek. The waitress arrived with their food and Demyx leaned away from Axel, smiling and thanking her.

 

Axel stopped hugging Demyx when he noticed that the food was now on the table. He got up and smile at Demyx and returned to his seat. He ate his calimari and hoped that Demyx would like it as much as he did.

Axel looked around for himself, admiring the fancy-ness of it all. If Xemnas hadn't gave him munny, this would've burned a huge hole in his wallet.

 

Vexen had found a small village whose hospitalbe people had allowed her to eat and sleep for free. They had marveled at her strange clothing, but for the most part they had let her be. The woman finally felt energized, though she had suffered a few more visions.

Vexen awoke from her short nap and looked around. She was in a small room. Well, there's no use in staying here. She opened a portal and found herself in one of the various halls of the castle. Damn, my portalling is still off. I wanted to go to Marluxia's room. The hall she had landed in looked just like almost all of the other halls, so she was not sure where she had landed. "I guess I'll just walk around and look for Marluxia."

In the back of her mind she feared coming face to face with Xemnas again, and a small, deep voice whispered every now and then, "So, you thought you would get away with this?" Ignoring these negative thoughts as best she could, Vexen made her way down the hall.

 

Vines covered the walls. Thorns ripping the solid ground. Complete darkness. No light in the room whatsoever. His bed, ripped in half. Drawers scratched or covered by the thorns. He stood in the middle in the room, looking at the entrance, unable to move.

 

Luxord flailed his arms like mad, trying to smack Xigbar off of him. If he succeeded to do so, he'd crawl over to a different area and get on his feet before putting a hand on the back of his head, checking to see if he was bleeding.

 

"All right, that's it! This has gone on for long enough!"

Xemnas strolled over quickly and picked Xigbar and Luxord up by the hoods of their cloaks.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, Xigbar? Luxord, what did you say to him? How the hell did this start!"

WHACK!

A small fist connected with Xemnas' face, and he held Xigbar at arms length.

"What's gotten into you?" he said to the flailing child that was Number II.

 

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!" Xigbar growled, loudly. He was moving his arms about in a windmill motion, as if trying to hit something... ANYTHING that he could.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!" he screamed, changing tactics and flapping his arms around like a bird on speed.

 

"Y'know, when we get back, we just have to thank Xemnas." Said Demyx, beginning to eat his meal. "But.. of course, I would have said 'yes' even if we were in some poor people's shack instead of this place."

Demyx began thinking of their future. The wedding..? The honeymoon..?

Children..?

 

"Yeah..." Axel smiled at Demyx. "I'm glad to hear that, but I just wanted this to be the greatest moment of our lives and I want to spoil you so very much. You're worth it, all of it." He explained and continued eating.

 

Demyx was almost finished with his meal when he turned to Axel and said, "So.. hometime after this?"

 

"I guess." He said and took the last bite of his dinner. "Unless there's somewhere you'd like to go..."
