Organization XIII - It's a beautiful day!

"Do you want to see Vexen?" Axel said, picking up Marluxia.

 

Marluxia shook his head. He turned to Demyx and gave him a weak smile. "Can I play wit youw sitaw?"

 

Demyx rubbed his neck where Marly had gotten hold of him and sighed. "At least you're awake now.." He said, actually trying to comfort Marluxia.

"And no, you can't play with my sitar." He said and narrowed his eyes.

Marluxia jumped off Axel's bed, and ran off into the hallway. "Demyx is a meanie!" he yelled. Marluxia ran aimlessly into the halls by himself, until he was lost.

 

"Shall I go after him?" Axel said and sat down on his bed next to Demyx.

 

"If you want.." Demyx said. "Personally, I like it better this way."

 

"Alright. If you want it it like that, then so it will be." He replied and put his arm around Demyx's waist.

Xigbar cocked his head, staring at the sleeping Luxord. He blinked, then walked over to him, his hands behind his back. When he was close, he bent down and examined Luxord even closer. Yep... He's asleep. He plopped down on his butt, sighing, and running his hand through his hair. Then he glanced over at Luxord again. He grabbed his arm, scooped up the other boy, and stood up, Luxord on his back. He wobbled a little, regained his balance, and trudged over to the stairs.

Slowly, but surely, he climbed up the stairs, on by one, making sure Luxord didn't slip. Some times, he even had to stop and sit on a stair, gasping for breath. He'd never thought that Luxord would be this heavy. Finally, he reached the top stair. He collasped a little, panted with his hands on his knees, looked up, and then stumbled over to Luxord's room.

He reached up for the door-knob, but he couldn't reach it when he was bent over, carrying Luxord like that. He carefully put Luxord down, reached up and twisted the door handle, and picked him back up again, this time in his arms. When he was in, he kicked the door shut, and walked over to Luxord's bed, as quickly and carefully as possible.

Finnally, when they arrived, he pushed the other boy on top of the bed and climbed up, himself. He rolled the other boy to the middle of the bed, pushed up the blanket to his chin, then sat back, watching him. He sighed, wiped some of the sweat on his forehead off, and leaned back. That was... exhausting... he thought, his eye-lids drooping a little. Secretly, though, he was pleased with himself. He yawned. I should.... Go to my.... Room now... he thought, drowsily. But then he collasped on the bed, asleep before he knew it.

Luxord would squirm a bit, his eye twitching in his dream. He was having yet a weird one, more like a nightmare to him. He was in the biggest gambling place in Las Vegas, but......HE WAS LOSING! He was losing everything. His bets always lost, he got the wrong things at the slots, his luck at completely ran out. Once he was placed on his bed, he squirmed in it, shaking his head and mumbling, "No! It was on the 3! The 3!!!" Before a while when he clearly lost everything he had to bet; including his clothing, he woke up with a shocked expression. He looked around, noticing he was in his room. "How'd I get here?" He spotted Xigbar on his bed sleeping. He was in his covers. 'Did Xigbar bring me to my room?' he thought to himself.

 

Marluxia walked around aimlessly. He was very lost, or rather, be was in an area he barely went through and didn't exactly recognize. "And I'm in charge of the castle.... I dun even know whewe I'm going..." He said, and started crying. He kept on walking until he was a strange figure in front of him.

"Scawy man..." he whimpered. "I thought you were a nightmawe..."

"I'm not a dream, I live in your mind. You cannot escape from me. Come with me, and I'll give you a heart." he told the little one.

"You won't gimme a heawt!" the little one replied.

The man started to fade away. "You'll get your original body back. She's being impatient."

"She...? Vexxy?"

"She is the key to your heart. If you let her come into your life, I will guarantee you your heart. Question is, will you mature for her?" he said, as he faded away.


Marluxia sat and the ground and began to cry. "What do I do... Vexxy...?" He got up again, and tried to find his way to Vexen's room.

 

Xigbar's eyes snapped open as soon as Luxord said, "How'd I get here?" He sat up suddenly, pretending that he'd never asleep. "Oh! You'we finalwy awake, din, Sleepin' Beauty?" he asked innocently, while rubbing his eye. "Good thing Axel brought you up here or else ya mighta bumped your head again." He looked down casually as he said this.

 

Luxord would blink. "Axel brought me up here...Well, when you see him, give me my thanks...." He'd sigh and flop back on the bed, putting his hands over his eyes and stretching lightly, giving a long yawn. He'd roll around on his bed before falling off. He'd giggle though, thinking that it was fun. "It's more fun to fall off the bed when you're a kid.."

 

Suddenly, a wave of guilt washed over Demyx. "Okay..." He sighed. "Maybe it would be for the best if you went to find him... And I suppose Vexen could use a break from looking after him."

He got up and hid the sitar from Marluxia in case Axel brought the child back to the room.

 

"Why do I have to go look for him? I don't like being away from you for so long." Axel said and got up as well, grabbing Demyx's hand. He gave him those puppy dog eyes. "Please, go with me."

 

"FINE." He said as his teeth gritted and eyes bulged in silent rage.

"Damn puppy dog eyes...." He muttered.

 

Axel smiled and wrapped hs arms around Demyx. "I love you, did you know that?" He nuzzled Demyx's neck a bit before he spoke again, "Alright, let's go."

 

Marluxia was super lost. He was sitting at a dark corner of the hallway, crying. He couldn't find his way to Vexen's room, and at the moment forgot how to use portals. "N...nya...." he whimpered, and cried some more.

 

Demyx sighed defeatedly. "I'm the wrong guy for this." He told Axel but followed the redhead anyway.

Still holding Demyx's hand, Axel walked out of the room and called out Marluxia's name many times. "Where is he?" He whispered and heard a small cry in the distance.

 

Marluxia heard Axel's voice, and looked up. "NYA!!" he cried, trying to lead Axel to himself.
