    Jessie couldn't sleep that night, she just sat up staring at her arm. Tears silently streaming down her face and over the cuts and brusies on her arms her own father had caused. She'd so wanted to belive Hayden when she'd that he'd never hurt her. But now she knew otherwise. And it scared her, more than anything, to know that the one person she'd depened the most on for all her life could and would do that to her....
