"No, sorry..." Namine said, looking down. "Um...how about what you're getting?"

Larxene was breathing hard from running so swiftly down the flight of stairs. She wanted to get away from that deformed kid as soon as she could!
Just then, she heard Axel whispering something, and she looked down, catching the last bits of his words.
My name... she thought. He's saying my name...
She felt relief flood her - if Axel was speaking, then he would be okay...shaking her head, she knew she had to concentrate on the situation they were in.
Since she had reached the bottom of the passageway, she looked up to see the room she was in...
But she could not see anything. It was pitch black, and it was is if her eyes were closed. An uneasy feeling filled her, as she tried to peer through the inky darkness.
Her arms felt tired from carring Axel for so long, her hands were still raw, and her back was sore from banging against the wall...not to mention her legs were feeling the same burning sensation her respiratory system was feeling.
I can't stop now... she thought, quelling the urge to just lie down and rest.

  4. Axel could see Larxene's body weakening under him, it was obvious by her slow steps, and her heavy ragged breathing. Even thoug his eyes were closed, he was so close to her body he could feel what she was feeling. Physically anyway.

He wished he could do something. He wished he could move his body, and not be such a burden on her. He wished he could be the man and help her. Why couldn't she just leave him? It was better that way. Axel didn't care about himself now, she was being hunted down, and he didn't want to be the cause and reason for her death.

Making himself speak, though it made him feel a nauseous vile in hsi stomach, but he still tried. He gulped, trying to relieve his chalk like throat, and this time he managed to complete it into a whisper. "Leave...me...burden...to...you..do it..."

Larxene looked down, seeing as how Axel was speaking again. By the coarse tone of his voice, she could tell he was straining himself to say something.
"Save your breath," Larxene said, managing to talk more steadily after being able to recuperate for a minute or so. "And it's okay, Axel. You're not a burden to me...I'll keep you safe..."
Just then, there was a small clicking sound, and the whole room lit up from the torches on the wall. The flames' crackling echoed against the silence, and created eerie shadows on the walls and floor.
Tilting her head up, the sight of the what was in the room made her widen her eyes in surprise.
There were metal shackles and sharp scissors laying everyone, on the table and strewn on the floor. In the corner of the room, there was Vexen's shield, laying next to Lexaeus's tomahawk. There was a large empty space in the middle of the room, where a vial was lying upon the floor, as well as a knife.
It was almost like a torture room, in Larxene's point of view, or something close to that...but, from everything that was happening, she could tell that this was a room designed for the demon's ritual for immortality.
This isn't good... she thought, looking around. That guy's got everything prepared...
Just then, she realized something - how was it possible that the place was completely dark, and then all of a sudden, flames lit the torches?
She heard a small chuckling voice and she turned slowly to see the demon, standing in front of the staircase, his hand still clenched around the handle of his scissors tightly, blood still staining the top of it.
She felt her throat go dry at the sight of him, and she took a step back, still holding Axel tightly.

  6. Axel, with a sudden spur of fear, actually gripped Larxene tight, moved his hands, when he heard the demonic chuckle. He didn't even know where he was, where she took them, and now whether they'll make it out alive.

Seeing as he needed the aid of his eyes, he enforced them to open, unconcerned about how they burned, and how blurry they were. He leisurely opened them, squinting and blinking a few times. Axel didn't manage to open them completely until seconds later, and blinked them a lot to take away the fog. Everything became clear, and his jade green eyes scattered tiredly. They were in some type of...room? With Larxene in the way, he could hardly see, but he did detect a piece that looked like Vexen's shield...and a...pentagram?

"Oooh, the one with pretty eyes is awake. Master must have it."

It wasn't ScissorMan, he heard his voice up close. This sounded like a small boy, but it still kept that same eerie intonation. His remaining blood went cold a this. He didn't even know how he was alive so far, but using the only strength he possesed now, he wrenched himself from Larxene, almost falling hard to the floor, but her arms was still around him as he caught her by surprise. Landing thankfuly soft on the ground, he looked up at her, distressed. Stop being stubborn. He tried again to talk. "Go...now...he's going to kill you...leave me...damn it..."

The strain made him cough a bit, but it stop just as quickly. After he used that bit of energy to pull away, he found himself helpless again. The hard try made him almost slip back into unconsciousness. Leave...

Larxene felt frozen, staring directly at the ScissorMan, but hearing Axel speak and try to push her away, it made her usual assertiveness return.
"You really think that I'd leave you?" she remarked, as she took a step back.
Glancing at the wooden table nearby, she grabbed the handle of a scissor and held it in front of her, ready to use as a weapon against him.
The ScissorMan, seeing her hold the scissor so tremblingly laughed - a demonic resonance enshrouding it.
Larxene forced her hand to stop shaking as she stared at her enemy confidently. She was trying her best to think of a plan to get past him, and to the library, where she could hopefully find a way to kill him. However, fighting against him with a scissor - especially since he had one and was most likely stronger than her at the moment - was not a good idea.
Just then, an idea dawned on her, and she dropped the scissors onto the table.
"Hey, you need my blood right?" she said, stepping in front of Axel protectively. "So if I make myself fade away, you'll never succeed with your ritual."

OOC: I left the ScissorMan for you to talk cause' I don't know what to write for him. lol

  8. Axel wanted to smack the crap out of Larxene right now. Was she crazy? He should've known better. That woman was impossbile to convince anything through. Why was she so hell bent on not leaving him? With him this way, he would be a heavy load to her. And now she was offering some type of exchange?

He knew Larxene never did hairbrained schemes like this, so she must have a idea. But did she know just how strong ScissorMan is? Will whatever she had in her head work? He didn't want her to get hurt, or disappear, or get killed, or maimed. Axel quickly snapped out of his thoughts, and tensed as the familiar evil tone of the said murderer and demon filled his ear. He...just wished both of them could escape this. He was so worthless now, and he hated it.

Bobby glared at the impudence of the girl, his red glowing eyes flaring. He tildted his head, making his neck snap loudly. "I need the witch. But I need your blood. I am going to get your blood..."

    He charged.

Larxene wasn't really expecting him to move so fast, so she knew she quickly had to think of a new plan if the two were going to survive...
Just then, she remembered something - how could she have forgotten it so quickly?
Quickly, she grabbed Axel, struggling to lift him up as fast as she could. When Bobby was close by, she drew a bottle of holy water that Luxord had given to her in case of an emergancy, and splashed half of the contents onto the demon.
This caused him to howl and fall to the floor, writhing in pain.
Seizing the chance to escape, she dashed around him and back up the stairs, trying her best to run swiftly while carrying Axel.

  10. Axel smiled in relief as Larxene went forward to escape, though they weren't safe until they could get away, or find the others in the library. The nagging swell of death and nausea was innerly affecting him, and the running and turns made him sick. Sick of everything. All for a stupid vacation.

He hoped there was some kind of cure waiting for him, as he proclaimed himself a lucky fool to actually still have some life in him. But it was gradually fading, and he knew perfectly well that if he doesn't find some type of healer soon for his wounds, especially in the stomach, he was a goner. For real this time.

He saw wearily as they passed down the tunnel, and whispering slightly, he said to her, "...persistent...hard-head...I..love...it..."

Ah. He could still joke around, can't he?

ScissorMan recovered, the water hurting him momentarily, and watched as the blood he needed slipped away. He followed quickly. "...blood, need her blood...and those eyes...those green eyes."

"It must be if you love it so much," Namine said, nodding.

Larxene ran for a long while, until the stairs evened out and she was back in the tunnel. She could hear Axel's words easier this time, and she smiled at them. However, hearing how he was straining his voice once more, murmured, breathing hard from running for so long, "Save...your strength...Axel..."
Now that they were finally out of the secret passageway, she could see that they were now back in the room they were in originally. The door was on the floor, practically shredded into splinters.
Looking over at this over quickly, Larxene ran out into the hallway and towards the kitchen. There was a first-aid kit there, she remembered Luxord had told her, so she would be able to take care of Axel's wounds.
Reaching the door, she shuffled slightly to turn the cold, metal doorknob and step inside. However, she didn't lock it, just in case the ScissorMan found a way inside despite it.
Pausing for a moment to catch her breath, she tried to remember which cabinet held the needed supplies.
I think Luxord gestured somewhere to the top... she thought, as she walked over to the cabinets.
Holding Axel tightly with one arm, she reached up with free hand to open the top one. Inside was a white kit, which she quickly grabbed.
She walked over to the kitchen table and laid the kit on it, while still struggling to lift Axel with one hand.
Seeing how there were chairs around the table, she gently lowered Axel onto one.

  13. Axel found himself perched on a chair by the Savage Nymph, tha fact that his eyes were open, and he saw around the kit. They had gotten away for awhile, which was good. If Larxene fixed his wounds, and he gets the rest he needed, he might get back into action soon as the blood he lost gets back into order. His pose in the chair was sluggish, as he didn't have enough energy to sit straight.

Since they were in the kitchen, and his throat felt like ashes, stinging and dry, he murmured, struggling himself again, "...w-water..."

Axel figured it will help him talk better, and probably even have a tone this time.

Larxene had opened the kit when she heard Axel, mumuring that he wanted some water. Glancing behind herself, she could see that he was straining himself again, but if he was thirsty...
She walked over to the sink, grabbed a glass from the still-open cabinet, and filled it with tap water.
Walking back to Axel, she was about to hand him it, when she realized that he might be too sore to even lift his arm.
"Open your mouth, okay?" she said.

  15. Axel nodded, and did as told. He felt Larxene gently give him delicate and careful sips, in case he choked, and Axel fell in love, as his parched and chalk throat became smooth, and moisturized, and normal.

Tap water never tasted so good.

While Larxene was still helping, he was making himself swallow and drink, not stopping until the last drop was devoured. He sighed peacefully, taking in the soaking goodness, and gazed at the woman before him. Axel observed all the things Larxene had done for him so far, even when he wasn't halfway to his death, she had massage his shoulders to make him feel better from his pain. He owed her alot. His life, really. "Thank you...for everything."

Axel inwardly grin as he heard his own voice after such a long time. It was...a nice feeling. Now, he can talk without forcing it too much.

Seeing how much better Axel had seemed, Larxene smiled.
"Hey, no problem..." she said, as she placed the glass on the table. "But now that you can speak better...you can tell me where it hurts."
She picked up a couple of objects from the kit and placed them on the table.
She had absolutely no knowledge of first-aid, but she had to give it a shot.

  17. "Well first, you obviously got to start in my stomach, since I still feel my blood seeping out. I don't think it hit any vital organs when it went all the way through the other side, so it's good," Axel explained easily, as it seemed that water was all he yearned to quench and bring back his normal speech. Though now his tone sounded low, and lighter, than deep. But as long as he could speak...

He eyed Larxene with the kit warily, he had never seen her use anything like that. "Uh...Larx, do you even know how to use that? I don't want unwanted needles and pokes, and my current state to go worse...I'm surprised I'm even still here."

"Well, there's a small instruction booklet here," Larxene said, taking out a small thin paper book. "As long as I go according to this...it should be fine..."
She opened it and began to read it, trying to understand what it was telling her to do.
Picking up a needle she murmured, "I think I should use this one...if we're going to sew up your stomach wound..."

  19. "U-uh..." Axel stuttered, looking at the needle cautiously, like it was Bobby's scissors. He felt something swell in his stomach that he couldn't describe, and it wasn't nausea, but close to it. "Do you even know how to sew? I mean, isn't there another way? And aren't you suppose to put like...anesthesia?"

He knew anesthesia can only be found in medical facilities, but he was somehow hoping there was some in that First Aid kit. And not only that, but since his cloak was in the way of her work, and though he always wore some black tank top under, she would still have to...

    Well, this just got interesting.

Larxene looked down at the kit and said, "Well if it's in there, I can't tell the difference between the anesthesia and these disinfectants." She looked back up at Axel. "And there isn't any other way. Unless we close the wound, you'll keep losing blood..." A slight smile tugged at her lips. "Don't tell me you're afraid, Axel."
