Kingdom Hearts II Organization XIII Data Battle Challenge: 10 Reflects Or Less

Unfortunately I have not purchased FM+ just in hopes of a possible USA release but if not then I will get one later, however this isn't about the possible release of FM+ in USA, it is an Organization XIII Data Challenge! I have watched a bazillion of the Org XIII fights on youtube and I am truly thankful however it is kinda obnoxious to see reflect used so much, even though it may be needed in certain battles but I am here to challenge all of you who have FM+ and see if you can beat the Org XIII data battles only using reflect 10xs or less! Can you do it? Even if you don't manage to defeat them I would like to see how far you can get with only using reflect 10xs or less. Please try and take this challenge and post your status and videos of it on youtube and provide the link here in this thread. Good luck to all! Also thanks to those who take my Org XIII challenge

this is too easy. all of the users that made videos that are already on youtube, are idiots. i have never used reflect, as for magic, i use cure blizzard, and thunder. even during the sephiroth battle, i never used reflect. magnet works just as well, as for all of the rest of the moves, that cant be magneted away, well, we have guard for a reason.

Most of my vids didn't have Reflect abuse in them, go watch those. I might re-do some of my fights though, namely the Roxas one since I used Reflect a lot in that fight. Oh and skellingtondan, mind posting up some videos of your own before you go around calling the people that upload videos to YouTube (I'm one of them) idiots? Unless of course you already have uploaded some videos, in that case I'd like to see them.

I only use reflect on Xemnas and Saix.

The rest I don't use Reflect for. Just Guard.

Oh, I beat your challenge already then.

Never used Reflect on any Organization XIII fight. Was never a fan of the skill.

Only time I used it was for the Bow and Arrow moves by the ES.

Don't have vids, but basically:

Xemnas: Long fight. Comprised of Gliding and Air Combos.

Xigbar: Final Form spam. Dodged lasers instead of reflecting them/guarding. Only used Cure

Xaldin: Jump attack. Stayed by the gate during that whirlwind wall attack, took minimal damage by jumping at the end. Dodge-rolled his rushes instead of reflecting.

Vexen: Final Form Melee spam. Only used Cure.

Lexaeus: Limit Form + Sonic Raid + Ethers = Piece of Cake

Zexion: Final Form during second half for quicker finish. Only used Cure

Saix: Final Form right off the bat, got him down to 2 bars. One quick Reaction command--easy finish.

Axel: Limit Form + Sonic Raid + Reaction Command = Piece of Cake

Demyx: Wisdom Form + Firaga Spam + Ethers = Piece of Cake

Luxord: Limit Form + Sonic Raid + Ethers + Reaction Command = Piece of Cake

Marluxia: No strategy. Hack and Slash. Use forms to restore MP/HP

Larxene: Limit Form + Sonic Raid/Final Form Melee Spam.

Roxas: Limit Form + Sonic Raid + Ethers = Piece of Cake

 

You can actually dodge roll the whirlwind wall attack :D

 

I never really use reflect in the battles, i perfer guard myself, dodge rolling or flying to escape attacks.

 

not everyone, just the users that use reeflect a thousand times, if i can beat sephiroth, at lvl 65-ish, without using it, they should be able to do any battle without using it. i never even used it on xaldin in the original kh2....

EDIT: i watched a few of your videos, and the roxas one, and larxene one, i am willing to overlook, but you did use reflect in a few others....

I've seen your videos and you use reflect all the time. You even said in the Lexaeus battle to start spamming the reflect after he reaches over 60000.

 

Alright that sounds fair that you guys have beaten them without reflect, just wish I could see it for most of the videos on youtube are very similar. Plus it seemed like a good challenge considering that almost everyone who defeated Larxene said the only possible way of defeating her was with reflect since she uses thunder all the time. So if you guys could put up videos of you not using reflect a lot that would be great and especially for Larxene and others that some claim that reflect is like a neccesity.

I know I basically said it above but the main reason why I started this challenge is because so many on youtube claim that reflect is NEEDED or else you will lose, just curious to see it done without reflect and other similar skills spammed to death. Thanks.

 

I never use Reflect that much. Of course, that's because I don't know how to use the dern thing correctly and usually get my soft end handed to me by the bosses, lol...
