Organization XIII: Battle Royale

Axel looked at Larxene and said, "Larxene DiZ may know what we are trying to do and so I think we should prepare for what his got come to try and stop us."

 

Xemnas stopped in mid stride at her question ignoring what Axel had just said. Xemnas went to speak but stopped. He then thought for another moment before answering "He was complicated... Intelligent, always trying to be one step ahead of everyone else. His reasurch constantly the workings of anything he didnt understand and always kept in line. He loved to teach others, make them learn... put them up to tests he knew they would not sleep till they understood." Xemnas got a sad glazed over look in his eyes then. There were to meny blanks still and too meny memories of pain because of Ansem.

"He made you want to get better at things than him... go places he wouldent go. He drove you farther than you ever thought things would go purely by pushing you to excell. In the end I went places even he didnt think possible... things he thought werent right by human laws. That was when... when I betrayed him to continue my reasurch further into the heart. I wanted to know more, but even now I have never been granted answers. I think he see's me as his greatest failure. I was his best and his worst I suppose you could say. I learned all he had to teach and then as he would express it 'Let the power of knowledge control me.'"

Xemnas shoke his head, "But he was wrong, even in losing my heart and changing my name I never forgot who I was. I always kept the same goal though now I must first create kingdom hearts before focassing on my own goal."

With that Xemnas stopped talking and leaning against a wall he had a look of very deep thought.

 

Larxene paused, reflecting upon what the Superior had revealed. Unconsciously, she began to chew on a thumbnail. "Therefore," she said softly, still thinking, speaking more to herself than the other members, "why would he want to pit us against each other? Is it because he simply wants us removed? No, that can't be it; this man is far too complex for something that simplistic. What is he trying to teach us by this game?" She dropped into a crouch and steepled her fingers together, tapping them thoughtfully against her lips.

"DiZ wants something from us. Before we make any plans to assult him, we need to discover his motives. If we move in as simple destroyers, we will fail this test; he is arrogant, and would not simply kill us without trying to teach us something, even as he pushes us to the brink of our own destruction..." She trailed off and frowned. Is he pointing out a weakness? Is he showing us just how divided we truely are? No; why would he strengthen his enemy? This man is indeed a puzzle...

 

Axel smiled at Larxene and said, "We should train or something so we are not off gaurd if he does something like that big monster." Axel stilling smiled at her.

 

"I agree Larxene..."

Xemnas thought for another moment and letting ou a small gasp he looked up "What if this is mearly an experiment?", he paused."What if Ansem is just testing how we react with eachother in different situations as well as enviroments. He could just be seeing how nobodies are different from people with hearts..."

Xemnas shuddered, "he intends to kill us that's for sure but first he wants to have his fun with us any way he sees fit. He believe's he's safe for now, we are still divided and we are unaware of his exact location. This is all planned out so perfectly, he wants us to kill eachother out of fear of being killed ourselves and there will surely be no reward for the winners as he says but mostlikely a fate worse than the fate of those killed."

It was the only explanation Xemnas had for now rubbing his arms he felt cold. Maybe getting covered in heartless goup wasnt the greatest for your health...

 

OOC: Gah! I'm off for about one minute and suddenly there is like, three new pages!

Saix nodded to what Xemnas said, then turned to Larxene and Axel.
"I agree with Axel. We should train so that we are not caught off guard," he said.

 

Axel looked at Saix and said, "Me and you finally agree on something Saix." Axel then walked next to Larxene.

 

"Train?" Larxene didn't look at Axel, whipping out with a vicious backhand fist that caught him across the face and sent him spinning to the floor. "Learn to expect the unexpected, Number Eight." She turned back to Xemnas, frowning. "And how to counter his test? Shall we simply kill him?" She turned back as Axel started to get to his feet.

 

"If we kill him, then something bad might happen. Also, that wouldn't unlock all the things that are happening to us." Saix tapped his collar for emphasis. "If we killed him, then we wouldn't learn how to take this off."

 

"No... we dont need to kill him... Just beat him at his own game." Xemnas crossed his arms "It will be work and we will have to join together and gather as much of our forces as we can. Once we have our full fighting force or atleast the majority of it we should be able to find a way to get the dice rolling our way. Besides, I have a strange feeling about this..."

"and Saix is indeed right about the collars though with a bit of work I'm sure Vexen or myself could figure out how to remove them... but it would be risky as these collars are indeed authentic." Xemnas pulled on the collar around his neck then, it had been digging into his neck uncomphortablly and he couldent breath right with it on.

Xemnas paused "Yes Axel, training is a good plan especially for the weaker and injured members among us. Unfortionatelly I wont be able to join you as I need some time to think..."

 

Axel looks at her and cracks his neck and said, "What the hell is wrong with you, you crazy b***h!? Why did you hit me that was uncalled for!?" Axel got up and pulled out one of his chakrams and aimed it at her head.

 

Saix stepped between the two.
"We shouldn't fight among one another," he said sternly, pushing them apart. "We have to learn to get along and trust each other. Yes, that means you too Axel." He glared at his subordinates and pulled out his claymore.
"Now, I suppose I should train with you two to make sure you don't kill each other," he said.

 

Larxene tossed him a wink. "Temper, temper, Number Eight," she chided. "Training was your idea, remember?" She crossed her hands over her face and summoned her kunai, making no effort to keep a hungry grin off her face. "Pain reinforces the lesson. I am the b*tch of this Organization, after all... how could you expect any different?!!" Her last word became a shriek as as invoked her powers, creating a lightning storm to enwreath Axel's head.

"Pay attention," she hissed, malevolent pleasure igniting in her eyes. "You'll get no second chance. Mind the collar!"

 

Saix stepped out of range of the two. He folded his arms and leaned against his claymore.
"If I had a heart then I would feel sympathetic for you, Axel," he said, examining something in the sky. "But I don't have a heart, so I don't feel sympathy for anyone."

 

Axel stared at Saix and then walked away and said, "What ever."

 

Laxene blinked in surprise. "Bored already, Number Eight?" she called, bringing a kunai to her mouth and running her tongue along it with a wicked grin. "Or could it be that you're afraid?"

 

Axel stoped then turn to Larxene and said, "Maybe, maybe not." then Axel trew one of his chakrams at her.

 

It was time to join the fight.
Saix flicked his claymore up and it rammed into the chakram, sending it off its course and making it thud into a tree.

 

Axel claped his hands together and said, "Very good Saix your a quick learner."

 

OOC: Uhh... we happen to be in a hallway right now; there are no trees, there is no sky. Unless you want to move back to the camp in Land of Dragons.

Larxene ran her tongue over her lips and grinned. With a battle cry she leapt into the air, bringing a veritable lightning storm to bear against the Flurry of Dancing Flames. "Feel the pain!" she screamed, eyes glinting with near-madness.
