The hazel eyed female looked to the girl beside her.

"Be brave." She said softly, trying to calm the fear the other female felt.

At the same time the brunette female felt the same way, confused and scared and she wanted to know her name.

 

"My name is Xaldin and I will await to find out your names." He smiled at both of them and then watched the doors closed. He moved against the wall and closed his eyes.They would be fine he thought as he found himself thinking of the hazel eyed girl.

Roxas sat on the clock tower waiting for Axel. He felt a little stronger since he defeated the heartless. He wondered if Axel found the winner stick Roxas left for him.

 

"Nice to meet you Xaldin,' she smiled.
The purple eyed female looked at the hazel eyed one then put her arm around the back of her neck like they were long time buddies.
"Don't worry kiddo we will be fine," she smiled.
She was less uneasy and glad she wasn't going in alone.
The doors slowly closed behind them and tried to keep the mood up.

 

The hazel eyed female looked at the girl who wrapped her arm around her.

she seems really happy...​

As the doors closed she looked behind them to Xaldin until he too disappeared and the only people inside were her and the purple eyed female who seemed to have relaxed.

The hazel eyed girl took in the room around them. Chairs, of different heights, circled the plain white room.

 

She unwrapped her arm around the hazel-eyed one.
"We will be ok, Xaldin said so."
The Fleetfoot appeared next to the purple-eyed one one the opposite side the other girl was on.
"Where'd you go Fleetfoot? I was worried about you."
The lesser nobody went around to the hazel-eyed female and seemed to look at her with curiosity, about as high as her chest. The female attached to it turned to the other one and smiled politely.
"This is Fleetfoot. He carried me on the way over here on his back. I woke up when he was running across the tops of the buildings. It is strange to see a circular door since the ones in the city were rectangular. He doesn't have a mouth on his face but he has one in his tail. How did you get here?"
She pet the fox Nobody on the head and tried to make the other female feel more comfortable.

 

She looked at the creature called "Fleetfoot" and was somewhat scared of the creature.

don't be scared. Be brave.​

she held the erg to stiffen or yelp when the creature came close to her instead she focused on the woman's voice. Soon the creature returned to it's master's side.

"I woke up, in front of the castle, on the floor." She said, the english accent still prominent in her voice as she spoke softly.

where is the Superior?​

 

Fleetfoot rolled onto his back and the female kneeled down to scratch his tummy.
"He won't hurt you, he's very nice."
She took the other female's hand softly and put it on Fleetfoot's stomach.
The chairs of different heights took to her interest.
"These are very strange chairs. I bet the Superior sits on the highest one. I also bet you will get a very pretty name because you have such a pretty face. I really like your voice too, it sounds different from what I've heard so far. I hope you make lots of friends."

 

Xemnas disappeared into a dark corridor from Xion's room and returned to his sual chair in the Round Room. He was somewhat pleased now that his second Keyblade wielder had woken up. His golden eyes opened and landed on the two new female Nobodies. He glared at the lesser Nobody and with a wave of his hand it disappeared from the room. "Welcome...." he smiled to himself, lose two members and gain two members...how fitting. Out of habit, he glanced up at the highest chair where Xue sat usually and his smile faded slightly. She was injured....she'd been careless trying to retrieve the missing piece of Xion's memory. Turning his emotionless gaze back to the new members. He never felt it an obligation to introduce himself...if they came to his castle they should know who he was.



Xigbar returned to the Round Room, spreading his legs casually in his chair as he sat, "Hey...we've lost another one. Figured I should tell you about it beforehand. Oh...and that Heartless...it's going to be more of a problem than we thought. How's Roxas up for a mission tomorrow?" He watched his Superior's gaze never leave the two girl standing on the platform beneath them. "Huh? Oh, well, well...looks like we've got two new members!" chuckling, Xigbar shoved off his hood and pulled out his ponytail, "Good thing too. Wouldn't want to be undermaned when that little Keyblade Master gets here."



Axel stopped dead in his tracks after entering Xion's room. She was awake...and sitting up! A grin spread across his lips, "Xion!" Her blue eyes flicked up to him and she returned his smile, "Axel..." She looked half expectant and lifted his hands, "Roxas is probably waiting for me at the usual spot. C'mon with me, Xion...uh, that is if you're up for it." He watched her slide off her bed to her feet, "Yes...I'm glad...I get to see you again." Waving off her words, Axel held open the door for her, "Nevermind that right now...let's go see Roxas."

 

Kenji walked over to the group, wondering what they were talking about.

"Dont you care that we've lost some good men. How does their death accomplish anything," he asked Xigbar, trying to sound interested in the conversation.

 

Fleetfoot stood up quickly and cringed, then disappeared into the air, the black fading away.
The female could only look in disbelief because he had looked scared.
He just wanted to be friends what got to him so badly?
She looked up to see a cloaked figure on the second highest chair, his grey hair shone in the light and his golden eyes pierced the soul.
"Good day... Superior." she said while giving a bow.
I wonder what his powers are...
The purple-eyed one cringed under his sight and became very uneasy.
He's going to kill me...

 

Hazel eyes looked down to the nobody and as her had was tugged she felt scared but kept it in, though it struggled to come out.

It isn't hurting me...​

She then looked up to Purple eyes, who spoke about the chairs. Getting up she also looked at thw chairs before staring at her.

My name will be pretty? Will my name be pretty?​

The hazel eyed girl touched her face.

My face is pretty?​

Another hand to her throat.

Does my voice really sound different?...​

"You look pretty too." She said, the tone still empty to the girl beside her but she was still telling the truth.

"And aren't we friends?"
Then she saw movement and looked up to see silver hair.

Her eyes quickly looked up meeting the gaze of the man on the highest chair.

This is the Superior... The person who will give me my name...​

His voice sounded haunting and his smile did not seem like the one Xaldin had on.

I will be brave. I will show no fear.​

She remembered the advice Xaldin gave her and though others appeared, her gaze continued to focus on the man with the hollow gold eyes.

"Hello, my Superior." She greeted making her voice louder then how she was talking before to Xaldin and the purple eyed girl, the empty room amplified her voice and even she could hear the accent that complemented her light empty tone.

 

Xemnas moved his gaze between the two, ignoring Xigbar's words and Kenji. Someone with a heart had no buisness asking such questions. These girls were...ordinary...they realized they should be afraid but they couldn't feel it...the point of realizing an emotion was useless. "You two...came here unknowingly, unconsciously... You seek purpose...a reality that no longer exists for you. I can give you that." Holding out his hand towards them as if he were going to grab them and their original names hovered before their eyes in clear, shimmering letters. "I can give you purpose." The letters swirled around them before Xemnas held up his hand again and an X was neatly placed in each of their names. Xena for the purple-eyed one...and Xenon for the hazel-eyed one. "Your new names."



Xigbar scowled at Kenji. The boy with the heart was annoying. "Hey, I don't make the rules. Anyways, how were they good men? If they died so easily...they were mearly not meant to be." he laughed, his shoulders shaking, though it was only a forced laugh like usual. "We don't have hearts to care, kiddo, give it up. You're wasting your breath and my time. I ain't got all the time in the world like Luxord to explain everything to ya. Alright, Heart-boy?" And thus he'd created a nickname for Kenji our of sheer envy that he had a heart and was wasting it's potential on feeling sorry for faded members that soon they wouldn't even remember their names.



Axel stopped momentarily by the ice cream shop and bought each of them some ice cream. Holding it out of Xion's reach, she practically pouted, making Axel laugh until he almost dropped the salty sweet treat. "You can have it when we see Roxas." Leading her up to the Clock Tower in Twilight Town, he took his seat beside Roxas, "You're early." Having asked Xion to hang back a while, he waved the ice cream in front of Roxas' nose. "Want some?"

 

The hazel-eyed girl looked up at the Superior, feeling no more fear but the feeling of curiosity.
Why is he called the Superior if there is another chair higher? Are there pairs of rank? Such as a pair of alpha, beta, omega, and so on?
He seems to take no interest with us...ordinary maybe?
Her eyes went blank and emotionless as she thought.
His voice is very deep.
Why did Fleetfoot take me here? Do only the superiors have the power to make others' lesser Nobodies disappear? Maybe he didn't like mine.

Purpose...​

The word sparked her interest and her eyes lit up.
I want to know my purpose.
The silver letters appeared and swirled around before she could even read what her true name was, leaving a hole inside of her. They rearranged into her new name with an X in it.

Xena...​

The purple-eyed female reached for the shimmering letters with her index finger, a relaxed hand symbolized interest.
My name is Xena...

 

Neon...​

The fist name she saw when the Superior raised his hand and the letters formed.

This was my name...

Lifting her hand, she tried to reach out for it, to touch the letters but they escaped from not only her touch, but also from her mind. It flew in a whirl wind around her, eyes closed, till she saw the new mix floating infront of her.

Xenon.​

That is her name and this time the letters didn't move away from her. Instead, it stayed there and as she touched it, and it disappeared inside her. This was who she was now.

Xenon's eyes looked to the girl beside her, Xena. That was the female's name.

Looking up, her hazel eyes met that of her new Leader's. "I have a name. Now, What is my purpose of this second life, Superior?" she asked the man who watched them. She had to know, what was she to do now?

 

When Xena made contact with the letters they shattered into hundreds of shards ans buried themselves into her, forever marking her name as Xena. The female flinched at the sudden pain but it didn't hurt too bad.

--What is my purpose?-- She thought.

The cloaked figure upon the chair did not look as menacing as before. He was stronger, sure, but there was something deeper in him that she could sense.

--There is something there. I can almost see it. Even though his expression is blank...am I sensing concern?
Is there something concerning him about the true leader? Has something happened to the leader?--

"Superior, what do we do now?"

 

"No your just late Axel." he put on a weak smile and tried to grab the ice cream out of Axel's hand. He loved the view from the clock-tower. It was amazing. He look at his friend who seemed in a good mood for some reason.

 

Xemnas glanced over to Xigbar who was still being loud and smirked, "Xigbar will take one of you and show you the ropes. The other...I'll find someone. In the mean time, you two stay in the Grey Room." He watched Xigbar's face turn from displeased at Kenji to baffled at his leader. "What!? You want ME to show one of these kiddies around?" Xemnas nodded and Xigbar's shoulders drooped. He felt much more comfortable now that Xigbar was unhappy. "You will do as you're told." Xigbar rubbed his face, "Aye...aye...I'll do it."



Xigbar slid from his chair, not bothering with a dark corridor and landed in front of the two girls. He lifted his head with a wide grin on it, "Alright, so which one of ya, wants so head out with me?" He didn't like mentor duty, but it was another outlet to mock Axel with and that would provide him with some fun while he did his job. Hopefully these two wouldn't be so much of a drag as Jaxen had been.



Axel pulled the ice cream out of his reach and grinned, spreading the ice cream so it showed that he held three in his hands. "Check it out, Roxas! Hey, Xion, you want some ice cream?!" Xion poked her head around the tower's side and smiled shyly at Roxas. "You missed out, buddy. She woke up earlier. I figured I should bring her out here." He knew his friend would be happy again as Xion came and sat beside him. Axel handed out the ice cream and turned to look at the sunset.



Xion nervously sat beside her old friends. Most of her memories had come back...but anything after leaving...it was all missing. Would Roxas remember it? "Roxas...Axel...I've missed you both." It was all she had to say before she started eating her ice cream.

 

The purple-eyed female's face lit up at the offer to go with the pirate-guy. He was very interesting to her.

Xena smiled at Xenon,"You should go with Xaldin, he's waiting for you just outside the door remember?" She gave the hazel-eyed girl a pat on the back to reassure her. "You'll be just fine with him."

She turned to Xigbar, "So stuck up is he?" she joked quietly.

The female liked the spirit in the eyepatched one. The scar in his face intrigued her greatly.

"Plan on showing me the ropes around this joint?" she winked. It would sure be nice to know what's around. "I promise to be a good girl," Xena joked. It was important to lighten the ever-so-tense atmosphere the room and the Superior put out.

This one sure seems like a fun guy.

 

Xenon looked up to her superior and then looked to the male with the eyepatch.

The female stepped back slightly behind Xena as the man came closer to them.

Xena wants to go along with this guy.​

With a nod to Xena's suggestion, she turned away and walked to the door

I want to see Xaldin and tell him my name.​

The idea would have made her smile, if she had a heart...

Stepping out the door she looked around for him.

 

Xaldin opened his eyes when he heard the door open. He saw the girl with hazel eyes walk into the hallway looking for him. He walked over to her and smiled "How did it go?" He was wondering what her name would be and her powers but one step at a time."Now I can ask you what's your name?"

Roxas almost fell off the clock tower when he saw her "Xion your awake" he smiled. He took his ice cream and he felt happy that the 3 of them were back together. He then saw Xion face and realized "Xion you wont be allowed on missions with me will you?" He wasn't even sure if they should touch
