Mysterious Tower: Yen Sid's Study​

Donald was beside himself, confused like always, even as he took a peek at the book before Sora. Here's what it said:

Hearts of Seven, Pure as Light, stolen from their Pure vessels. The light of Kingdom Hearts shone upon the broken world of Hollow Bastion in the first journey. One Heart of the Master corrupted by Darkness. With a Light stolen and a power transferred, thus began the First for the other.​

Donald frowned and groaned, holding his head in pain, "Oh, I don't get any of this." Yen Sid nodded slowly, "I had figured you would not. I've decripted most of it when Riku was summoned here away from Destiny Islands. 'Hearts of Seven, Pure as Light, stolen from their Pure vessels.' It seems to be talking about when Maleficent stole the Seven Princesses of Heart's hearts of pure light. Furthermore, Riku and I came to the conclusion the last few lines refer to something being stolen from Riku when he was possessed by Ansem's Heartless the very first time and sending Sora on his way to protect the worlds with the Keyblade in his hands." Donald tapped his foot, "So...something was taken from Riku? Ohhhh...this is too complicated." Yen Sid encouraged them to keep reading:

Asleep but Awake, two Masters conqured a Castle of Memories, linking and unlinking the chains in their hearts. Organization of Six, cut down on the path to Dawn. The Path to Morning rejected out of Fear. The Path to Nightfall rejected out of Anger. When Darkness loses to Light, the Dawn becomes unachievable. The Sleepless night ends with nothing gained and nothing lost.​

The Path to Dawn, corrupted willingly along the path of aid to the Light. The Second journey began with the sleep of Thirteen and the fading of Fourteen. Organization of Eight fell to the Keyblade's Truth. Hearts of Worlds conjoined Light shattered from the starless sky. Darkness regains and loses Truth and Harmony.​

Donald pointed to the last read passage, "That must be talking about our second journey. Ending at the World that Never Was...with Sora's fight against Xemnas." Yen Sid nodded again, "So it seems. Riku and I were unable to discern what could've been lost to him. His Truth and Harmony. There was another page, but Riku insisted on taking it with him on his journey. I've no idea if that page would've meant something to you, Sora. It seemed to mean something to Riku, but alas...he would not disclose what went through his mind. I asked Riku to find what was lost to him, in hopes it would restore some balance to the worlds. Riku departed...but his very location...I cannot sense him in the worlds we know today. And now...I fear something even worse has come to pass upon Riku's departure." He flipped to the last page, beyond the one that was torn out:

Organization Unlimited, of numbers indiscernable. What was lost to Nobodies, slowly regained. Bonds across Time forged in tempered fires of War. What was Lost in Truth and Harmony rests at the foot of Nothingness.​

Yen Sid rested his finger above the very last line. "This is what troubles me the most. If what Riku has lost now belongs to the resurrected Organization XIII...I fear Riku will never find it on his own. Sora...I need you to find Riku and help him find what was lost to him."

 

Sora started to nod yes, but then, as the realization came over him, he slammed his fist onto the table in sheer frustration and said "But HOW? If he's not in the worlds we know, they how do we get to him?"
Half formed thoughts and images were rushing through his mind along with countless questions. Help Riku regain what he lost...Did that mean killing the Organization again? And did Riku have to help kill them? Was it possible that this was somehow his, Sora's, fault? Why hadn't Riku let Sora come with him? Why had he gone on his own? None of it made sense.

Sora took a deep breath and calmed down. He would get nothing done standing around asking questions that were unanswerable. Instead, he turned his attention to what needed to be asked right now. There was only one thing.
"Where do I start?"

Xaldin smiled "If you don't mind, sure I could go for something". He sat in a nearby chair and looked at her for a moment and then looked at the ceiling and became lost in thought. He moved his eyes back to her. She has changed since he brought her into the castle. She looked stronger and braver, it took most newbies a week to get use to this minus Xollot. He knew she wouldn't be able to go on mission's with him, Xenmas already knew these new members having an effect on him. "Xenon starting tommorow you will be given missions some alone some with another member. You have to show Xenmas you can complete them."

Will do the others later today

 

Xigbar snapped his fingers and the Nobodies he'd summoned earlier finished the Heartless easily. "I'll admit, kid, that was pretty good. Seems like I don't have'ta teach you much of anything. Heheh, which is good for me." Releasing his weapons, he frowned slightly, "Y'know...I just remembered it's about time for me to get on with my other mission. Here...I'll send you back to the Castle so you can rendevous with your little friend you made earlier." Opening two separate dark corridors, he turned Xena to face one and turned towards the other. "See ya." he said, waving over his shoulder and vanising into the darkness.

Mysterious Tower: Yen Sid's Study​

Yen Sid kept a calm expression while Sora spent his time rambling around in his head. Once he'd asked, the old sorcerer stood, "Donald...Goofy...Sora, you three have saved the worlds several times before, but this journey will prove even more difficult than the last. Riku, I cannot find, but I have faith that you three can. The roads between worlds were once opened and now are corrupt with monsters of the likes I have not seen since my younger days, just years after I had retired as a Keyblade Master. The Unversed. Creatures of negative emotion that once were given life because of a being known as Vanitas. Though Vanitas is gone, defeated by the very Light you hold in your heart, the Unversed have adapted...feeding on the negative emotions of those around them. Such monstrosities should never have been allowed out of the realm in which they and their master were sealed within. How they escaped...I do not know." He summoned the gummi ship for them, "Sora....travel the paths between the worlds and defend the worlds from the Unversed. I believe...along your journey you will encounter this new Organization that has been revived and in doing so...you will find Riku and his stolen Light."

 

Sora stood straight and stiff, gave a salute, and said, "Yes Master Yen sid." Then he relaxed and turned first to Donald, and then to Goofy, saying "Common guys, let's go!" With that, he made for the ship, which was hovering outside the window, and with one jump, he made it onto the ship, and was soon installed in his seat. When Donald and Goofy were safely in with him, Sora turned to Donald, who was behind the controls, and said, "So where should we go first?"

Xena turned to Xigbar and smiled, "Well I'm glad to not get in the way of anything."
She really wanted to go with him, but she didn't want to make him mad or anything so she did what she was told and stepped into the dark corridor. A frown came upon her lips as she turned to see the corridor close behind her.
The female was now in the Grey Room, and a snore could be heard very loudly. Her eyes turned toward the man asleep on the couch. His mullet was fascinating to see from the other members, it was quite different. She approached silently, even though he could probably sleep through a thunderstorm. Upon seeing the food crumbs on him, a sudden urge came over her to swipe them off; a pet peeve of hers. Not wanting to wake him, she carefully plucked the crumbs on his cloak. But there was more around his face and neck.
Damnit, why did he have to get it all over him?
She moved real close to his chest and attempted to pluck a crumb from his neck, but before she could even realize it was stuck to him, it was yanked and it tugged at his skin.
Oh sh*t...

 

After some discussion and argument, they decided on Travers Town. That was the natural starting point. Everything always seemed to lead back there. They landed and Sora, Donald and Goofy stood just inside the huge doors to the town, and looked. Nothing seemed altered since the last time they'd been there. There were the lamp posts. There was the mail box. There was the moogle.
Sora was the first to move. He wanted to check through here, and if all was as calm as it seemed, he wanted out of there fast. The Unversed had to be defeated, and the Organization challenged, and neither, so far as he knew, had ever reached Travers Town.
"Well this looks fine. Common guys!"
With that he set off at a run for the second district.

 

~Vexen~

Vexen simply continued to walk as his thoughts had now gone erratic with the new developments as he calmly said to himself "Of course, I shouldn't be questioning the Superior's orders on account of random followers, Now then XXVII if you would come along then maybe I could get down to the basement below and procede with my research and experimentation" shortly before speeding into a brisk pace ahead of Xollot.

~Demyx~

The tug in question caused the Melodious Noctunre to jump up slightly off the couch before trying to climb off the back of said couch before landinf facefirst with a thud onto the floor. This thud immediatly caused Raoxthu to storm into the room before looking down at Demyx and said calmly "Geez number IX! you didn't have to make all of that racket while some people were trying to research their own minds". Demyx turned his head up and said in a panic "It's not my fault I was jolted awake by the tug of someone's hand" shortly before pointing at Xena.

Raoxthu stared at the new girl for a moment before his brown eyes blinked asking "Demyx...who is that girl?" shortly before he started to step back at risk of another Larxene on his hands as Demyx replied with a confused "I dunno, must be another one of those noobs that joined us..just like you were dude!" shortly before he jumped to his feet. "But I'm still technicly new since I only did one mission" Raoxthu pointed out scratching his head

Xollot raised an eyebrow and followed quickly after him. Organization XIII had a plentiful crop of fools, and every one of them, even the bright ones, had a huge amount of arrogance, but with Vexen, Xollot deemed it terminal arrogance. It could only lead to trouble, indeed, it had already earned Vexen an inglorious death and humiliation, but he did not seem to have learned anything from the experience. The hallmark of a failure. She lengthened her stride and kept pace with him all the way to the basement.

 

The sudden movement caused Xena's face to run into the man's chest, knocking her over onto the couch. She rubbed her forehead and sat up. Another man had stormed into the room and his complaint made her smile and laugh a little. Now, Xena didn't like to be pointed at, but at the moment and situation it didn't really matter.

"Well it's not my fault that someone gets food all over himself. You should also be careful of sleeping in the middle of a room." The female got up and walked over to the glass that had fallen, "Why did you even have your hand in this anyway?" She tried not to step in the water.

Her purple eyes met the brown eyes of the other man by the name of Raoxthu, her eyes piercing his, "I am Xena."

She turned back to Demyx and looked up at him, he was quite cute, "Sorry, didn't mean to wake you. I was just trying to get rid of those food crumbs that were on you." Xena put out her hand, "No hard feelings?"

 

Saix returned to the Grey Room, dragging the boy he'd found at the main doors with him. After some probing and growling, he'd figured out his name....and now he'd forgotten it. He stopped when he saw the mess and a vein popped out on his forehead, hidden by his hair just barely. "There had better be a good reason for the mess on the floor...or heads are going to roll." His fingers twitched, digging into the boy's arm. Since it was perpetually night in the World that Never Was, the moon shone through the windows of the Grey Room, stopping just at Saix's feet. One step and he wouldn't have to force a transformation into his Beserker mode to knock some serious sense into their heads.

 

~The Mess~

Raoxthu stammered back at the sight of the blue haired man before he said slowly "Well.....you see.....Demyx over there was snoring..and then there was a racket and I came in and saw Demyx and Xena, and then..well..here we are now" before slightly shaking in his shoes. Demyx then looked around before looking at Xena before shaking her hand as he said "Yeah..." not noticing that Saix had entered until he turned his head and made a huge gulping sound. "Oh hey Saix...nice to see you, I was just eating and fell asleep...heh?". Raoxthu then facepalmed thinking "Yup, he's gonna kill us"

~Vexen~

Vexen continued to walk until he finally made it to the dark basement levels of Castle Oblivion and began to immediatly ponder his thoughts. "I believe a test will be needed..but I'm going to need some materials to work with in order to create them." he thought with his fingers on his chin before looking into his files.

Xenon nodded and took out some ham, cheese and bread. Bumping the fridge's door with her hip, Xenon placed everything down on the counter.

The hazel eyed girl looked to Xaldin, he was looking at the roof in a daze.

Looking back forward she washed her hands and than got to work making sandwiches.

It was quiet and Xenon was comfortable even in the silence she closed her eyes onky for a second.

"Xenon starting tommorow you will be given missions some alone some with another member. You have to show Xenmas you can complete them."

The female turned, her eyes opening. Looking Xaldin the female felt a tug in het stomach...not a good one.

Looking away from the make she looked at her feet.

"Yes, I understand."

That means Xaldin won't be there for me if I need his help... I'll be alone again...and I never met any other organization member except Xena, Xaldin anda few others....​

Though her mind went into panic mode her facial expression stayes calm. The hazel eyed female nodded, "I will show Xemnas that I am brave." She looked at Xaldin and turned to continue making the sandwiches.

Why do I have this strange feeling? As if i am worried...i will see Xaldin again... I am sure...​

 

Saix snarled, releasing the boy, he grabbed Demyx's collar and shook him wildly. "What in the name of Kingdom Hearts do you think you're doing eating in here!? This room is a place for resting after missions, not your eating room! Eat in the kitchen!" Saix took a deep breath and calmed himself. Setting his hands on Demyx's shoulders he met the younger man's blue eyes, "None of that matters right now...get this cleaned up before the Superior returns. In the meantime...have you seen Number 0?"

 

~Demyx~

Demyx looked into the deep, bright yellow eyes that laid before him as he said "Look, last time we saw her she got into a fight with Larxene and then Raoxthu and I stepped in and then Larxene got her butt whooped" shortly before he began to laugh as he added "You should have seen the look when Larx was sent to the floor, she got whipped good!" causing Raoxthu to start to chuckle as he remembered how Larxene got beat earlier as he said "Yup, old hornet-head got what was coming to her alright! ahahahaha!" before breaking into laughter at Larxene's earlier misfortune before he calmed down and said "Sorry about that Number VII, I should be more respectful in your presence. But anyway I suppose we should all be cleaning this mess now, right Demyx" with Demyx simply nodding.

 

Eve paced her way through the castle alongside Luxord. They had completed another training session and she had been improving greatly. They entered the Gray Room, oblivious to the events the unfearled.

"strange indeed," Luxord commented. "May I enquire the context of this situation?"

Eve glared at him, annoyed by his speaking pattern.

 

Saix rubbed his head and wondered what the Superior was doing now. "Just get it done, Demyx before Lord Xemnas returns with new missions for me to hand out."



Xue peeked around the corner, watching Demyx, Saix, Xena and Raoxthu. Those four...more specifically Xena and Raoxthu...would lead the children in the light to them. "Saix....where is Xigbar?" She watched him turn around and resume his usual scowl, "Since he has not returned to give me his report...I do not have that knowledge." Xue glanced down at the book she was holding. Oddly it didn't bear a title.

Among the streets of Traverse Town, a few things were different. Sections of the town were blocked off and the colors were a bit off hue. Donald shivered and grabbed hold of Sora's hood. "Hold on Sora! Something's...wrong. Uh...does Traverse Town look...different to you?" Donald looked around, "I don't see anybody around either. Do you think...Cid and the triplets are okay?"

 

Xena cringed at the sound of Saix's voice and her hand clung to Demyx's for a few seconds. Realizing that they were still making contact, she quickly let go and stepped to the side as Saix approached. As he tood Demyx into his clutches she wondered how Demyx could keep such a high tone. Number VII made her hair stand on end.
As Saix turned away from Demyx she turned to The Melodious Nocturne, "I'll clean it up Demyx, it wasn't your fault it was mine."
Another girl walked into the room with an unnamed book. Her hair was a very nice shade of blue. Xena bowed slightly, "M'lady. Xigbar is out on his mission, we had a go at training."

 

Xollot wandered over to a convenient corner, and stood, observing Vexen, following every movement with her eyes. Without knowing precisely what he was about, she could make no accurate deductions as to his purpose, or the likely result. Quite honestly, she was beginning to really question this assignment. What was she doing here? Vexen didn't seem to need any help with his "experiment" and even if he did, he wouldn't have admitted it, nor would he have accepted any help from her.

Sora slowed and looked around. Yes, it was different from what he remembered...and yes, there was no one around...but
"Well aren't they in Hollow Bastion? Maybe all the people we met here have gone back to their own worlds...I don't know..."
He stood there, undecided. Something was wrong, but was that just because all the people were gone? Wasn't Travers Town an amalgam of bits and pieces from fallen worlds? Maybe it was simply that some parts had been torn away and restored to their home worlds, along with the people. That was probably it...But what if it wasn't?
"Could this have anything to do with the Organization?"

 

~Vexen~

Vexen laid a large piece of white paper onto a nearby desk and began to sketch something out on it, things like numbers, equations, and a picture of what appeared to be a heart was sketched bit-by-bit. Before he knew it Vexen had also added pictures resembling that of weapons and that of a moogle in a cloak before he rose up excitedly saying aloud "Yes, Yes, this will do very nicely. I think this breakthrough will be useful to the Organization!"

~Demyx & Raoxthu~

Demyx looked at Xena before he said politely "No, no. I have to clean this up since it was my fault in the first place." shortly before he started to clean up the mess he had made before Raoxthu joined in adding "More help will get this cleaned quick...AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" while falling to the floor and clutching his head tightly. "Dude, are you okay? You're acting like you got a brainfreeze" Demyx asked while looking at the spazing XX. Raoxthu turned his eyes towards Xena before he briefly saw the girl in the silver jumpsuit standing in her place as she said calmly "Silly Brother, get off of your ass and stop goofing around."

"Yes Sister..." Raoxthu said emotionlessly before she vanished like an illusion in front of his eyes as Demyx looked at Xena and said "I think he's gone coo-coo and his brain went out the door!".
