When Shiro finally reached the Castle, he took another look up to see just how huge it was. It would be a huge waste it no one actually lived here. He took a quick look around to see if their was any way to alert the people inside, he found nothing. "Guess I'm doing this the hard way." Placing both hands around his mouth,he shouted at the top of his lungs. "Hey! I anybody in there?!"

 

Once Xigbar saw she weidled no obvious weapon and relied on one lesser Nobody rather than summoning more than one or using magic. He was bored the second she moved. Looking away, he found himself caught in a staring contest with a rather familiar blonde spiky haired man. "Ah well, I guess lessons are over, huh. Lemme guess, you want us to leave, right, blondie?" The man glared at him silently and Xigbar lifted his hands in surrender, "Hey now...heheh..."



Larxene pushed herself up from the floor, sparking with fury and fear. That girl... "What is she?" Larxene brushed off her coat and slowly followed her.



Axel made a face at Roxas for stealing his catchphrase. "Hey...that's a cheap shot, making fun of me." Xion smiled at them, "Roxas...do you...remember --" Axel grabbed Roxas' shoulder, "Hey, Roxas, how about since Xion's back, tomorrow after work we go to the beach."

 

Xena was crushed when she saw that Xigbar had no interest in her. Her shoulders drooped and she put her hood on to hide the near tears. It wasn't her fault that she didn't have a weapon. She didn't know about having multiple lesser Nobodies. She knew nothing.

--Isn't he supposed to teach me and make my weapon appear?--

Her defeat anguished her and she turned from Xigbar. Quick steps proceeded her and Fleetfoot, his tail rezipped and low to the ground, followed beside her. A trail of blood was the only remnant of her existance, slowly draining her of energy. After a block or two she sat on the sidewalk leaning against a building. She pulled her hood down low almost over her eyes and rested her head in her arms, and her arms on her knees.

--Do I not have a purpose?--

Secretly she wondered how Xenon was doing.

 

Xaldin looked at Xenon, she called him her friend. "Just relax as long as i'm with you no harm will come to you" The darkness can't hurt you Xenon." He then walked into the corridor of darkness walking slow so she could keep up with him.

When they reached the end of the corridor Xaldin turned and said to her "Welcome to Twilight Town Xenon."
They were in the sandlot and lucky for him there was no one around. "This is where we do most of are training and basic missions." He paused for a moment hoping this wouldn't be like his last training mission with Xollot and the Xue-phantom. She didn't know how to summon her weapon so he had to take this slow.
"We are know as nobodies, and there are also creatures called heartless." He summoned a shadow to his left "they come in all sorts of sizes and each have different powers." He summoned one of his lances and destroyed the shadow in one blow. He then made another shadow appear and held out his lance to Xenon "why don't you try. Don't be afraid and don't make the mistake that it's harmless it will attack you if you falter." He was hoping her weapon would manifest in battle. He then added "I beleve in you Xenon"

Xigbar glanced back to find Xena gone and looked back to Cloud. How frustrating that she'd up and leave when they need to get out of here. Fighting with the citizens wasn't apart of his mission and he didn't feel like doing more than necessary today. Grinning under his hood, he backed away from Cloud, "Heh, lucky for you, blondie, that I've got something else I have to do. I'd say it was nice to see you again...but it wasn't. Ha, catch ya later." With that, he vanished into a dark corridor, leaving Cloud. He reappeared in front of Xena. Shoving off his hood, he didn't bother pulling out his ponytail. "You're gonna cause me a lot of trouble by running away like that every time we train. If you're looking for encouraging words, you're looking at the wrong guy. I'm not one to say cutesy things and make your life easier."

 

The darkness doesn't seem that bad.. ​

She thought to herself as they walked through the darkness.

Actually... It feels comfortable....​

But was it because the darkness was comfortable, or was it because Xaldin was there...?

Upon entering Twilight Town's sand lot, the brunette looked around.

This is another world!​

So far the only place she has seen has been the castle. And she knew she came from another world when she had a heart...which one was the mystery...

Refocusing back on Xaldin once he strated to speak, she stared at the black shadow known as heartless... It did look harmless. And very easy to kill from the looks of it.

Another appeared and Xenon took a breath in before grasping the lance. It felt awkward holding his weapon, not right for her. But she had to make do with what she got.

Xenon looked at the heartless and got ready to attack, her legs crouched down, and the using the lance as a staff, she positioned it at a shoulder-hip and watched as the heartless first attack her.

Going down into the ground the shadow scurried across the floor. Xenon was surprised, she didn't expect that thing could do that. Her body turned around, eyes still conected to the shadow as it came up. This time she didn't wait and went straight for it slamming down the top part of the lance against its head and the lower angle to its side. She took a few steps back as the thing started to twitch.

Did it die?​

But het thought was wrong, the Shadow jumped at her and slashed at her. A grunt escaped her lips as she fell back and the shadow continued to slash, causing Xenon to try blocking each move the best she could.

Another grunt and she heaved the shadow off and stabbed it with the lance.

So maybe hand to hand combat wasn't her thing... She glared at the darn thing that only took Xaldin a second to kill with one attack and took her 5 minutes with 3 attacks.

I shouldn't have thought it was so easy.​

She then looked at her hands.

My weapon...it hasn't showed yet...​

Turning she looked at Xaldin.

"Send another out, please. I stilk haven't obtained my own weapon." She said, looking up to him, her voice still light, her accent heavier with the more frustration she felt.

 

Xena heard the sound of the dark passage appear in front of her. She knew who he was and frankly, she didn't care.
"You know Xigbar, blood tastes very good."
She lifted her head revealing a twisted, blood-stained smile. When her arm was bleeding there wasn't anything to wrap it with so she licked the wound until it clotted. Her more animalistic side was kicking in.
"What took you so long? I know you didn't fight that blonde man."
Xena tapped metal, clawed armor gloves against her knees. She then stood up and stood close to the Freeshooter.
"Cute is for bunnies. And easy would be too easy. Give me more."

 

Eve quickly got bored with the sight after finishing her meal. She guzzled down the remaining broth thst was in the cup and tossed it into the trash can. While leaving the room, she bumped into Kenji.

"sorry," Kenji said, afraid of offending the girl. Eve just continued to log on.

"Kenji, my boy," Luxord called out, a quick oust to get away from Larxene's awful drama, "your evening has been more fairer than others, I can safely gamble?"

"Yeah," Kenji answered.

Kenji took a quick examination across the room. He was always one who was last to be filled in on situations.

 

Xaldin watched Xenon's movements, she wasn't the best fighter but wasn't doing half bad for a newbie. "You can do this Xenon" he said to her. He remembered what he said to her earlier that he believed in her and it made him smile. Was it a lie or the truth? When was the last time he believed in anything? He turned his attention back to Xenon. "Ready" he asked her as he made another shadow appear about 10 feet from her. Would she rush out to attack it or plan her attack?
Roxas's memories came rushing back when Axel said the world "beach" off the last days of his summer vacation. He soon remembered they weren't real just a computer simulation made by DIZ. "Sure Axel that be great" he said without thinking. He looked at Xion hoping he would get a chance to hear what she had to say.

 

he believes in me?​

The thought made her smile on the inside, though it didn't show on the outside.

Xenon nodded, "ready." She stated and her hands tightened around the lance.

What should I do?​

She thought trying to come up with something. Xenon new she was strong with hand on hand and in defense she could barely block an attack. She took another deep breath and her hazel eyes sharped, as she went for it. Swinging the lance she grunted. The Shadow would hiss and twitch and attack as well.

"Whoa," she lost her stepping when the heartless slashed at her nipping at her arm but only getting sleeve, and fell onto her bottom, the lance falling and rolling a little ways from her.

The shadow twitched some more and charged.

What do I do What do I do? The lance!​

She was worrying and when the heartless jumped for her she did what every other female would do when they were scared for their life.

Scream.

What ever she did though, something happened. Xenon's eyes shut tightly, and when she emitted the scream it was like waves of sound that her vocals made were coming out sending the heartless back and onto the other side.

She opened her eyes and looked. Where was the heartless? Her eyes saw the black creature getting up.

What just happened? Did Xaldin help me?​

She looked to Xaldin for only a quick second before she saw the heartless come at her. This time she sprung up and ran from the wild slashes the heartless did.

What do I do?​

The thought came to her head just at the same time her eyes saw the lance. Looking at the distance she knew it would be risky but she had to try getting it!

So she dashed for the weapon and grabbed the lance with one hand, her grip tightening.

Where is my weapon? What is my power?"​

Her mind thought and the frustration grew inside her making the hazel of her eyes turn a light brown shade.

The heartless hissed and sank into the floor crawling toward her, she was ready for it! And as the heartless manifested itself it froze.

huh?​

Then this weird feeling came over her. She looked at her hands where the lance was and it disappeared!
Her eyes widened and looked to the heartless who twitched.
But the feeling was still there! her hand, where the lance once was, began to glow and when the light dimmed, a silver flute with the Nobody's insignia engraved, was in her hands.

What the hell? A flute?​

But she didn't have time to dwell before the twitching Heartless hissed and began to move.

Do I even know how to play the flute?​

Her mind was racing as she jumped back trying to avoid the slashing.

Xenon was getting tired and she had to end it...with this flute she guessed.

I hope this comes naturally!​

Blowing into the hole, her fingers moved, pressing down on the keys. The sound was fast, frantic, and hard. And caused the heartless to freeze and get confused, the hard notes were like invisible daggers stabbing into it before it died.

Xenon lowered the flute. She looked at it and then to Xaldin.

"What in the world just happened?" She asked completely lost. Was this flute her weapon?

 

Xaldin clapped his hands "Very impressive it seems this is your weapon Xenon not just your flute but your voice." He smiled and walked closer to her looking at the flute in her hand . She probably could take care of many heartless with it. He used cure on her and then said " Time for the next test" He then summoned 2 groups of heartless one in front of them and one behind them. Each group was composed of 10 shadows, 5 soldiers and a large body. He turned facing the group behind Xenon "Alright Xenon now that we know what your weapon is you need to master its power." He summoned all 6 of his lances and turned his head towards her. "I will take care of this group be careful, trust in your strength and if you need me I will be there." He then ran towards his group of heartless.

Using his mastery over wind he reached his group at the other side of the sandlot in a second. He cut through the shadows quickly and then used his jump command to destroy the soldiers. "Return to the darkness" he said to the large body as he cast thundaga destroying it. Then he turned to watch Xenon's battle.

 

Xenon looked at the heartless infront of her.

There are so many of them!​

Her hand tightened around her flute.

What do I play?​

With all her frantic thinking she didn't notice the group of soldier heartless running toward her.

"Whoa!" She cartwheeled to the side and began to dodge the slashes, gaining a few herself. It was fast!

Think Think, I don't have much time! What can I do?​

Then the thought came to her.

Jumping back Xenon took in a breath and let out a long forced note that pushed the heartkesses back and into a group of shadows.

Taking in yet another breath she focused on the notes. How to plag them, how to attack. Placing the cold silver against her lips she breathed out creating a noise. The tone had a harsh beginning note but went soft, then another.harsh note only to become soft the next. There were slurs that connected each of the high notes.

Through out the song the heartless were being thrown back against each other and in a way chained down by the song. The softer the sound the heavier the chains but with each sharp note that enticed the song the strikes began. A fast high flurry that transcended to a low note from her flute sent out multiple attacks to the heartless killing off the shadows easily and weakening the soldier heartlesses and the large body.
The tone became fast, the notes a staccato ranging from the low notes to ending with very high sharp notes that were like daggers to the heartlessess, killing off the soldiers. She let her flute down after its end and looked at the only remaining heartless. The large body.

At the end of her notes the large body awoke and boy was he mad. He got up quickly and slided his giant stomach to Xenon knocking her against a wall of the sandlot.
Her head against the sandy ground, she could feel the shaking of the earth underneath her as the large body was coming for her.

Xenon looked up at the black heartless and she got up, summoning any bit of her strength that she could. Opening her mouth she took in a deep breath, filling her diaphragm and let out a low pitched, operetta trill that bought her time. The heartless fell to the ground being once again chained as the female continued her trill going higher and higher in the scale tightening the chains so tight that when she had that final long high note that could break glass the heartless was squeezed to the point where it popped, a heart lifting out of it's now disappearing body.

Xenon let out a breath and fell to the ground.

So tired...​

 

Xaldin walked over to Xenon who was on the ground. "You did well Xenon" he said as he picked her up. Holding her in his arms felt strange he thought as he set her down on one of the benches. He cast cure on her and sat next to her. "How do you feel?" he asked her looking at her hazel eyes. He then looked around the sandlot "Isn't this world something stuck in the twilight?" He smiled "Thats it's name Twilight Town."

 

Xenon just wanted to lay on the ground. To sleep. All that energy she used for that last attack tuckered her out.

"You did well Xenon"

Xenon felt his hands wrap around her, her eyes opening slightly to stare back up to him as he lifted her. In the back of her she wondered if he would drop her, if she was too heavy? She wasn't fond of heights... But she was too tired to make a fuss.

As he held her in his arms she pushed that scary thought and focused on how warm he felt even though he had no heart... Then, he sat her down on the bench and she fought herself to not slump over. Casting cure was a big help, it healed all her slashes that the heartless managed to get pass the cloak and gave her a bit more energy. Stretching, she took in a deep breath.

"How do you feel?"

"Better then before. But a bit tired after all that." She said, her voice still soft and emotionless. Her eyes caught his and she tried to smile. She was getting the hang of it, though the smile still seemed odd since it had the sense of being forced...

When he broke the gaze she still looked at him a bit longer, the smile returning back to a straight line, her hazel eyes, which returned from that light brown to its green mix, taking in his facial features. The thick sideburns, his fierce gaze and large features.

His voice broke her from her state.

Her head tilted up to look at the orange and red colors that reflected off the clouds. "Twilight Town...The sky is pretty here."

"At the castle, is the sky always dark?" She asked Xaldin, closing her eyes.

 

Xigbar tilted his head in interest as the girl spoke, "Finally showing your true colors, eh? Well then, let's kick your training up a notch, yeah?!" Leaping backwards, he set a large distance between them and snapped his fingers, summoning several ordinary Pureblood Shadows. "Without using your little pet, lets see you take out these Heartless. Should be no trouble at all...if you had a weapon." Simple as that, Xigbar would push her until she was forced to summon her weapon. Since she obviously didn't weild the Keyblade, he'd have to push harder. A Keyblade would've reacted the second he summoned any Heartless to begin with. This girl was not one of the Chosen ones, but he'd find some way to kill his boredom.



Xemnas had left the Round Room, feeling twinges of restlessness settle into his bones. With Saix always behind him, he walked slowly through Twilight Town. A world practically devoid of people when he wanted it to be. Today, no one seemed to be out and about. His mind traveled back to Xue and what Xaldin had reported about her. She summoned the Phantom in the middle of town...all to retrieve a key memory for Xion. Now that he had both his Keyblade Wielders up and working, their progress towards Kingdom Hearts would increase faster than ever. He stopped when he saw Xenon and Xaldin. Xaldin was acting strange...but they all were...could Kingdom Hearts already be affecting them? Or...was it something to do with the ressurection? Had it given them bits and pieces of feelings when they were brought back? "The World that Never Was...has always been dark because it simply does not exist." He walked past where the two were sitting and looked up at the sky. Saix had stopped beside the two. "When Kingdom Hearts is complete...the sky will be lit with millions of millions of hearts...and then..we will be whole again."

Destiny Islands~~~

Donald and Goofy had relayed their side of the situation to Sora and pulled him into the Gummi Ship. It was just like old times. "Oh...what're we gonna do? With the Heartless back...and the shadow over the worlds again...Master Yen Sid said it would be harder this time. Even the King is gone again....and Riku too." Donald worried aloud as they set off for the Mysterious Tower where Master Yen Sid lived.



Axel grinned and resided to chewing on his popsicle stick. Xion opened her mouth again to try to ask Roxas about his memories. "Roxas..." she never got further than his name. Axel had stood and flipped his stick into a trash can that he spotted at the bottom, "C'mon you two...if we don't go back soon...Xemnas'll think we ran away again." Despite the fact that it wasn't funny, he still laughed and ruffled his two friends' hair.

 

Xaldin looked at Xenon and then felt the corridor of darkness open. He saw Xenmas and Saix appeared. He listened to both of them "I haven't got that far yet Saix." He then looked back towards Xenon "Certain Heartless actually do have hearts but they need to be killed with a certain weapon in order to release that heart. That weapon is called a keyblade, once we have enough hearts they form together to become kingdom hearts." He looked towards Xenmas who was looking at the sky. "Her weapon is a flute superior, its very effective against large groups of heartless." He then looked at Saix "Do you 2 need me? I still have to teach Xenon magic and the rules." He was a little surprise Xenmas left the castle. Was Xenmas losing his trust in him ?


Roxas laughed at Axel and got up "Your right wouldn't want to get trouble are first day. He looked at Xion and tried to tell her with his eyes they would talk later. It was clear Axel wasn't going to let them talk about their memories and epscailly Sora.

 

Xemnas lowered his gaze and turned around to meet Xaldin's gaze. "I'm disappointed, Xaldin...do you so believe that I would come to such a place only to seek you out when I could call you back to the Castle much faster?" Another odd thing he'd felt lately...for as long as he'd known Xaldin, he couldn't remember the last time he'd joked with him. He didn't believe it was physically possible for him. "Continue your lessons...I will observe." Saix kept a cool gaze fixed on his Superior. He certainly was acting strange...but he couldn't deny that he felt it too. The last time he'd seen Axel, he felt the urge to smile. Something he hadn't done in a long time.

 

Xaldin smiled "Sorry superior my mistake". He looked into Xenmas's eyes, it seemed all of them were changing. When he was around Xollot he felt like he could trust her. What was this feeling with Xenon? Could it be he cared about her? Impossible he couldn't feel anything none of them could. It didn't really matter what he felt nothing would change. He would still use any of them in a heartbeat to benefit the organization. His eyes drifted back to Xenon and her hazel green eyes. He got up from the bench. "Alright Xenon first I'm going to teach you magic then I have a real challenge for you." He closed his hand opened it again. Its his once empty hand a cure spell orb appeared. "Take it Xenon also I need you to pick another magic. Any one you want to start with fire blizzard thunder aero just to name a few."

 

"Don't worry Donald. We fixed it all before, there's no reason we can't do it again." Sora's optimism had returned. Now that he had something to do, his dark and confused thoughts regarding the Organization, and particularly Roxas, were pushed to the back of his mind. He was much more hopeful about the whole thing now that he had his friends by his side, though Riku worried him a good deal. Where could he be? What could have happened? he kept babbling as the Gummi ship careened across the sky towards the Mysterious Tower.

 

Xena smiled at his interest. She couldn't control herself at the moment due to her other side.
"Aye."
The Shadows posed little threat to her now, merely just an irritation.
"No problem."
She bent real low to the ground, almost the height of the heartless. Then, with a great leap and the wind at her side, she sprinted off towards the Shadows, running like a fox. Like a blur, she ran head first into two of them, knocking them into the air. Her armor-claws found their throats and dug in deep. They disappeared as they hit the ground.
Three left. What a pity how weak they are.
"Come at me, if you dare," she taunted.
Two of them jumped and swiped at her, but she easily dodged and ripped their faces off.
One left.
It went into the ground, like all Shadows do, but as soon as it popped out of the ground Xena was upon it and ripped it in half.
"Why make fun of me giving me these weaklings to slaughter?"
