    Learn. Start small, rice is pretty easy, and pasta too. I can instruct you if you want. If not, browse the web for easy things, and make sure to check the rating on it, if there is none or it's less than 4 1/2 stars don't make it. And if less than 100-ish people rated it, don't make it. Find another recipe for it.

    Alright, check up on them every hour or so, make sure their not hungry (and in the dog's cases, have to go to the bathroom). Give them a little attention when you go by them too, not for the fish really, but the cats would probably like a srcatch behind the ears, and dogs love attention.
