Haven't watched any of them, and you put The Mist twice.

    Okay.

So Beowulf. Your parents probably read this poem in High School or Collage. And Beowulff is this big Nortic hero, might as well be a god in a sort of way, he's Thor with out the magic hammer. So he goes in to help this king kill a monster called Grendal, after he kills Grendal everyone starts to get married and thinks its cool but then they learn that theres a bigger threat. Grendal look really amazing, he looks like Gollum as a burn victem. If you go into this film thinking, "Oh, I love Beowulf its my favorite epic poem of all time" you're kinda going to be disappointed. But at some points in the film it makes me think this is good but where is it going? And a film should never do that but I give this film a 3 dispite my problems with the film.

Well, I thought it was better than a 3 (out of five?), it depicts the poem nicely. I never had the feeling "it's good but where is it going?", although I got that feeling with Cloverfield. :/ Grendel does look pretty cool, as did the others too, it's amazing the detail in it, sometimes I nearly forget it's all animated if not for a few small parts here and there.

I didn't really like the film all that much, it was good but wasn't something that I was into, I did even relate to the characters or connect to them at all.

Well I didn't realte to the characters either, but I don't really look for that in movies as much as other things.

    Have you read the poem?

Yeah, I like the poem more then the movie, now I didn't hate the movie but I didn't really think it was awsome I didn't walk out of the film saying, "Hell yeah!"

Hmm...I can't really say what one I liked more, I mean the poem was great but then there's just something special about being able to seethe characters brought to life.

Strange, that's the way I felt about Cloverfield.

With Beowulf, I walked out thinking that it was alright, not sure I'll see it again but it was alright.

There is only two films I could watch a second time without 5 years inbetween, otherwise I just get bored way to easily.
