JJ Abrams has said on MANY accounts that the monster has been living in the ocean for thousands of years and is still only a baby.

Really? Then how do you explain that at the final scene Rob and Beth are on a date and turn the camera towards the fairgrounds and the pier, and an object can be seen crashing into the sea on the right-hand horizon?

 

*runs about waving arms* I want to see it without knowing what it is D:

Maybe it is a baby and it's probably an alien monster that has been living with the dinosaurs. The monster is still pretty cool. And is hard to kill and is still alive and I have proof. After the ending credits have completely run through, garbled radio static can be heard with the phrase "It's still alive" played in reverse.

 

Duh.....it is all over the interwebz.


I still found the movie a dissappointment.

 

Is it the orginal monster? If you think about it EVERY monster was orginal at one point or another.

 

How about then Cowboys?
