Basic translation:
Nano desu = That is that
It's a thing you can add to the end of what you say. It would be considered a bit childish though.

 

1) how do you know i missed it?
2) i searched nanodesu on the internet and one result was "It's Nano!"
3) childlish, but hey. i want to learn. but at my oh-so-lovely school, we have the option of japanes until next year. :yelling: not fair at all. chinese is no where close!

Nano was used as a propper noun, that's not what I'm using it as.

I wouldn't use it though, not if you're actually speaking Japanese, I just tack it on because I've been called Hanyuu multiple tames.

You're lucky, my school doesn't have it at all.
If you're gonna go into it though, I have a few tips you may want to know, otherwise it maybe a long and boring class.
