But back to the topic, what would be original to do to heroes?

 

My, someone has no patience. Just do anything non Mary-sue or chiche. Maybe a desue-ifier in there for character development.

*sigh* society imposes such stupid ideas. Poor B, they've closed you mind.

Just a little mary-sue for spice, a little brainstorming, and a whole load of trashed ideas. We're trying to bake up a batch of originality, not a 13 year old's fanfic.

 

Okay name 13 original ideas like this.

Quite simply I cannot. You want me to make origional ideas out of nowhere? I don't even have a main theme or characters.

 

Alright. The story takes place in a world that is firmly on the cynical end of the Sliding Scale Of Idealism Versus Cynicism and is filled with both physical and moral decay. The villain is a well intentioned extremist (kind of like Light but not as big of a jacka**) who rules the world. And the main heroes are a rag tag team of misfits consisting of an Anti-Hero (the protagonist), a shot-gun using Sociopath (who enjoys killing things for no reason other then it's fun), a guy who is insane and enjoys it, an "ax crazy" woman who is psychologically unstable and presents a clear danger to others and is also mute and has a sinister smile all the time, and an idealist that has no fighting skills or skills at all and the only reason he is on the team is to be a meat shield.

 

Come one, we can't be a little more origional than that?

 

Oh right?! How mant stories have that for a plot?!

 

World is rotting, some moron is in charge of the world, and a band of misfits must take him down? You must have never played and RPG in your life. That is not my problem though. A game can have a plot that doesn't involve some mass evil trying somethign stupid, but it is most common to have that form of plot.
Can you spot anything else in that description that I can throw the terms Cliche and Mary-sue at?

 

I never said they were going to take him down. And there not cliches.
