You don't know much about physics do you? Light travels differently though differing materials. Air is a simple thing to change the composition of, temperature, pressure, and movement are three simple ways to change it. As the saying goes, a butterfly flaps it's wings in the east, a hurricane is formed in the west. Light reacts differently though pressurized air as it would stagnant air.

FOOL! Gáe Bolg is no normal spear! It is a cursed spear that was obtained in the Country of Shadows by the hero Cú Chulainn!! A surely fatal strike from the cursed spear, Gáe Bolg. This attack always strikes the heart. By unleashing the abilities of the spear, the wielder can reverse the nature of causality. In effect, the cause is that "the heart is pierced" and the effect is that "the spear is thrust". Thus, the spear has already hit the heart before it is thrust, and the actual action is merely a formality that occurs due to the piercing of the enemy's heart. As a consequence, dodging or guarding is impossible; the spear will simply change course so that it pierces the victim's heart despite any interference. And that is only one of its functions!

 

Oooo fancy. But if my fang can be made a road of, surely something with a little more solidity can be ridden as well.
