Roxas wanders around.

Sora looks around.

 

Namine turns the corner and sees Roxas. "Roxas!" she yelled and waved at him.

 

Axel left the diner a very happy Nobody. Stomach full to the brim, new girl, the said girl's room number, as well as cell phone number in a little piece of paper he carried in his hand. Grinning to himself, he placed it on his jeans' pocket in victory, and they left to meet at a club later on in the night...

And well into morning, if he got more lucky.

Whistling, he walked down the side deck, wondering where everyone was now after the Heartless.

 

She was walking gloomily around.

.......jerks........getting upset for no reason...(hypocrite....:D....it's a bad habit......try not to get it...)........

She felt like burning something.

 

"Ooh, she wants it, uh huh, she wants it, ooh, she wants it, uh huh, she wants it, ooh, she wants it, uh huh, I got to give it to her," Axel sang under his breath, feeling very confident at the moment, and his ego practically boosted another nodge as he kept singing Ayo Technology. He walked downa loft, and found himself close to the pool, reminding him how he had taught Naminé, and how she still needed to practice herself. "Your hips, your thighs, you got me hypnotized, let me tell you..."

 

She walked by the pool entrance and saw Axel there but continued walking.

.........*sigh*...........I need a Dr.Pepper........and some ice cream.......

 

Namine saw Axel by the pool and waved to him. She had her card to her room this time. "Hey, Axel!" she said and smiled.

 

Axel got interrupted from praising his luck as he heard Naminé shout his name, and he turned his head around to look at her, seeing her waving, and he waved back. He paused for a second to see if he should come over, and since he hadnothing to do, might as well. And so, he walked towards her steadily, upon reaching her, asking, "How did swimming go? Heard you dived into the pool..."

 

"Then i guess you heard about how I pathetically had to be pulled out..." she said and looked down. She sighed. "I jumped in to save Angel... and had to get saved myself... I thought I would be able to do better than that..."

 

Axel placed a hand on her shoulder, looking down at her, asking softly, "What went wrong? Did you panic, or coudln't think fo what I taught you?" He then sgihed, as he looked back on their pool memory. "You weren't ready for the deep end, I'm guessing."

 

Namine continued to look down. "Acctually... it was all of that..." she said. "I paniced, I wasn't ready for the deep end, and I also couldn't swim with Angel's added weight..."

 

Axel nodded, finally getting the fatcs straight, as he obviously proclaimed, "You're still a beginner, so that was kind of reckless, I have to admit. Didn't think you'd have it in you to jump in there. That was brave."

 

Namine looked up at Axel. "No it wasn't..." she said. "It was reckless and stupid..."

 

"True," Axel agreed casually, waving a hand nonchalantly to present his point, not sugarcoating it. "But it was brave in the fact that you dived to save a friend, despite what might have happened to you. That's bravery, and loyalty, in a way. Got it memorized?"

 

Namine blinked. "I never thought of it that way before..." she said. "I still think it was stupid... but how would I know? I'm not even sure what bravery is..." she said.

 

"Never said it wasn't stupid," Axel concurred, gazing at her, a mixture of pleased and seriousness. "Bravery and valor is what you did. Risk your life for another, and for a companion. You couldn't even swim probably, but you tried your best. Trust my word on this." Tapping his index finger to her temple, as if saying his catchprase to her silently. He eyed her. "You hungry?"

 

"Not really..." she said, interested. "Hey Axel... where did you learn all of this?" she asked.

 

Axel just raised a eyebrow at the question. "I didn't 'learn' it, it just simply shows. Like if I..." He thought over a random example to give. "Like if I one day kamikaze myself in a firey implosion to save a friend and I fade, while everybody mourns, because who wouldn't cry for me? However, that's still risking your life, which is what you did. Don't question it so much, even if you failed is the thought that counts."

Namine smiled at Axel. "I guess you're right..." she said and sighed. "I wonder how Roxas is doing..." she accidentally said out loud.

 

Yeah right........she didn't save me........no one did........

She looked back to that moment and thought about it.........she treaded water........then somewhat breast stroke swam to the edge.

..........that was.......kind of weird........i'm pretty sure I never knew how to swim....or tread for that matter..........hmmmm......did my.....somebody know how to swim?
