BIC: Exel saw Tiffany. Hello there. Why are you on front of the open elevator? You could fall in. He said approaching her.

 

Xengla continued inching up at a faster pace than Rexwand, but most definitely slower than Jack. After a hard time struggling up she saw that there was another split. Left or right. She climbed into the right vent to rest.

Rexwand made it to the first split where Xengla passed and crawled in to rest. "Jack.....you....can go ahead....of me...if...you want...." He panted. He had never tried so hard and managed to fail and succeed so futilely and greatly in the same hour.

 

OOC: Now I have to wait.

 

ooc: awright then~

Xennex had found an elevator (note- not the same elevator that's already taken) and was now peering up at the roof. "Yeah...this is gonna be a breeze..." and she groaned as she tried to jump up to the area where she knew where the shaft would be located. "Curse this genetic hight," she said, louder than expected, as she flailed her arms every time she jumped.

"Need some help?" a voice came from behind, friendly and oddly familiar.

She turned around to be face to face with none other than..Sora.

"N-N-NONÉ!?!?" (what?!) Xennex yelped in disbelief. "How long have you been here!!?"

"Heh, quite a while, but, having quite a rough time," he laughed weakly and showed an open wound on his side. "But doing quite fine, ne?"

"H-he seems so happy even if in pain..." Xennex thought, still in disbelief. "I-I guess..."

"Hmmkay," he said, still 'happy' as ever.

"Just don't look up..." and Xennex groaned as she jumped on his back.

BIC: Luxord sighed as he was cutting the rooftop to finally breathe the fresh salty air.

 

ooc: lol okay then x3

"Hey! Hold still or this'll never work!" Xennex demanded as she tried to keep her balance on Sora's shoulders.

"Well i'm sooorry!" he said sarcasically, and tried his best to keep still long enough for Xennex to pull herself up and into the elevator shaft.

Which, he might not have been able to hold for as long as he thought.

"HOLD STILL, DANGIT!" "I AM!!" "NO YOU"RE NOT!!" and she finally grabbed the edge of the, err, 'entry' and pulled herself up through the square hole (ooc: i have no idea what an elevator shaft looks like D: oh noes).

"Now how am i gonna get up there!?"

"Psh, find someone else to get you up," Xennex replied coldly (is that a word?).

Sora glared up at the other girl, not giving a reply to that.

"...Fine..." and Xennex reached her hand down to take the others'. "Gash you're heavy,"

Only a few moments later, they were sitting across from each other in the elevator shaft, hearing nothing but their own breathing.

"This...doesn't bother you at all?" Xennex asked quietly.

"Hmm...what's to be bothered by?" Sora replied plainly.

"Is he for real...?" Xennex thought to herself in shock.

 

Jack shook his head. "We all need to stick together, anyways... It's better if you're ahead of me. Don't worry about slowing me down." He smiled and waited for Rexwand to catch his breath. "Xengla, hold up!" He shouted to her.

Shigiku simply nodded in response, unable to speak. The fear was building inside of her, but she held it back as best she could. Being up this high was NOT something she was enjoying very much at all. She did as he had said, slowly climbing up his back as he pushed her upward. Once she had gotten high enough, she wrapped her arms around his neck tightly, as tight as she possibly could. She was trembling now, but she didn't care. Her fever had gone up, and she was feeling even worse. However, she knew that they didn't have much of a climb yet. She secured her arms around Axel's neck to let him know she was going to hold on tighter this time, and that he could keep going. As her hands shook, she wrapped her legs around his waist at the same time, not wanting to have to experience that again. A few tears fell softly down her cheeks. I want mommy and daddy... She thought and pressed her forehead against Axel's back.

Namine was surprised by Axel's cold tone, but she didn't say anything, just in case she fell again. Axel obviously wasn't happy right now, and neither was she, However, Namine was just glad that Shigiku was safe again, and she continued the climb once Axel started moving again.

 

"I'm....holding...." Xengla replied. Rexwand and Jack had an obviously long climb ahead of them.

"All right. Thank you." Rexwand caught hsi breath and tried climbing up again. He hoped he wouldn't fall. Even being in an air vent, he still had some space to fall.

 

Axel waited until Shigiku and himself carefully managed to make her hang on to his back again, this time, he was hoping, with her having more of a firm clutch . He sighed heavily, feeling exhausted, and he stood there without moving for a while to clear his mind off and to relax his active nerves. Reminding himself of the hazard that lasting here will bring, he began to start climbing up, though now, things were much harder for him, and he found himself twitching and wincing, trying to hold back the pain. His whole left arm, the one he used to catch Shigiku, was aching, precisely more on his shoulder. Every time he moved, a sharp agony went through his very bones, making him hiss every once in a while. It was also troubling with his keeping his balance, as he could barely raise it up, and it took enough will for his fingers to hold on tight. Harboring it in, however, he went up and up, in a equaled pace, until he found his hand going inside a wide opening, and the feeling of leveled ground was under his palm. Staring up, he eyed in glee that he had made it, and without wasting a moment's breath, he scrambled into the entryway, lifting his body with his good right arm and with the help of Tiffany, until he found himself safe in the floor of a hall.

He dragged himself as best as he could from the elevator shaft, and let out a tired breath, sitting right up as he came close to a wall. He closed his eyes, resting just a little as now the worse was over, and they "hit land", so to speak. Axel had felt Shigiku shaking and even heard a whimper a few times before, and he felt a sort of guilt drench him, regretting talking to her like that, venting out his own frustrations. Hearing a slight crackle as he moved his good arm, he looked down, spotting the white bag where the medicine and ointments he had gotten were. Strange. With all the stuff that had been going on, he had forgotten he had it with him all throughout it. And it also reminded him of Larxene...how was she doing with the burns on her wrists? Was the cream working for her? Shaking the bag off him, and placing it on the floor, he was about to talk to Shi, his Pumpkin, that is, until it was interrupted.

"Oh my God, are you alright?" Tiffany asked the two of them in panic, as she hurriedly crouched down in front of both, studying them deeply with worried eyes. It was hard to describe the terror she had felt when she watched that child fall, it just sent a chill down her spine, and made her numb, her heart flipping over to her throat, and making her feel sick with concern. If Axel hadn't acted fast enough to catch her...she didn't even want to think about the tragedy. Ruffling the girl's pink hair softly in comfort with her hand, noting she was upset, she then went to Axel, tracing the side of his handsome face gently with her fingers, almost in a soothing massage, until her thumb trailed over to his lips, her desire messing with her at the wrong time. When he stared at her though, all she spotted was blankness. It didn't rattle her, however, as she headed to a anxious spree again as the scene replayed. "You could've gotten killed! If you didn't grab her..."

"We're fine..." Axel muttered raspily, cutting her off, not wanting to hear any nagging right now. He just took the while to be at peace, and he watched nonchalantly as Tiffany, hesitantly nodded, continuing with her exploration of his face. He didn't want to be touched this way, at least not by her, because by this point, it had to stop. He never expected a relationship to begin over a one time intercourse night, and while it was good and all, that was just mainly to fulfill his lust to "get some", since so far, he was stuck with a group of men, and no girl to release the tension with. Of course, he had flirted with others, though it never gotten as far as he had wanted, as these women wanted to wait a little while longer together for more formality and bondage, and he wasn't looking for anything serious, so he mostly scrapped it. Axel thought that Tiffany had experience to know that this wouldn't go anywhere, and she really needed to know where they stand. They had talked and hung out in the past, but that's as long as he was willing to go. He was attracted to her, and really, he didn't mind the caress, but the only female he had to come to love was Shigiku, heart or no heart: in the way of how a father loves a child, and that was the most precious person to him now, other than Roxas, and partly Naminé. He somehow felt like one was missing from that list...though he couldn't fathom who, he just...his gut was telling him something that he couldn't comprehend. Who else matters to him? It wasn't Tiffany...it didn't lead to her, he knew...

Either way, his thoughts got distracted when he found the said girl going down his neck, and thinking he should check over the small lady and to break this, he asked, "Can you get a water bottle from the suitcase...?"

"Hmm?" she hummed as she retracted by her hand, tilting her head at the suggestion, and she saw him shift his eyes to the back, aiming at Shigiku. In understanding, she nodded again in return, thinking that, of course, one of them had to be thirsty, if not, both. Getting up, she then walked to the packs of baggage, already knowing where the water was, and going to get two.

With her busy with that, Axel then focused his attention to the person behind him, glancing apologetically over his shoulder as his left arm was now fully limped and useless, hearing a crack back way when he was done climbing. So it was either sprained or broken. Loosening up Shigiku from his back so she could let go, he somewhat turned his body sideways, and suddenly went to emrbace her head with his good arm, hugging her tenderly, noticing tears. "I'm sorry, Shi...I didn't mean to talk to you like that. But we're okay now..."

He trailed off there, his eyes growing wide when he felt the hot temperature coming off of her. Had the fever gone up?

Roxas saw at the corner of his eyes, that Axel had gone inside the last floor of where the elevator made its last stop, and he and Shigiku disappeared. That was good, because then, Naminé will go after as she was under them. They wil all be fine...

 

Once they had gotten bad on solid ground, Shigiku released her firm hold on Axel. She was still scared half to death, but Axel's hug made her feel a little better. She wrapped her arms around his waist, returning the hug that he gave her. However, she suddenly felt herself starting to cry as the fear was still bottled up inside of her. Tears fell down her cheeks as she cried and she held on to Axel tightly. It had only made it worse that she'd thought of her parents at that moment. She looked up at Axel, seeing that he had hurt his arm pretty badly when he caught her. "I'm sorry, Daddy! I should've held on tighter!" She exclaimed through tears, clinging to him tightly. Feeling the fever now, Shigiku loosene her hug a little bit, not feeling the energy to hold on tightly anymore. It was then she noticed that she had called him "Daddy". It was surprising, since she had never called him that before, but she'd said it on instinct.

Namine sighed in relief once they had made it to the top and she continued the climb. It wasn't much longer after that until she had made it to the top and climbed on to the entryway. Looking over at Shigiku and Axel, she gave them a worried look. "Are you two okay...?" She asked softly. It almost scared her how much of a mother-like tone she had used.

Surprisingly, with the burns on her wrists, climbing still wasnn't hard at all. In fact, she hardly felt pain from the burns at all. This was probably because she had a mostly high tolerance for pain, but part of it was probably the ointment helping. She still wondered why Axel had helped her after he burned her... It was irritating, and annoying. Sure enough, she soon reached the top and climbed up beside Namine.

Jack smiled and nodded, climbing up after Rexwand. He went slowly so that Rexwand wouldn't feel that he needed to speed up.

 

Xengla still resting asked the others, "So....we can either go right or left. Pick a side....any side..."

Rexwand was almost there. He thought he'd never make it...but he was almost ther. Almost. He continued struggling more and finally managed to grab onto the side of the vent where Xengla was. "I choose.....right...." He gasped as he climbed in with help from Xengla.

OOC- Awwww...Axel already forgot about Angel....

It had only taken about 20-25 minutes for Xennex to finally give in to slumber. She had fallen asleep with her arms wrapped around her legs, and her head rested apon her knees. The only problem was that, yes, she snored.

And the fact that the shaft wasn't all that too larg, didn't help either.

 

Phisoxa kept climbing , the drama upwards made her a little uneasy , but this was time for her to focus .

Demyx was still keeping the water out .

Demyx : " Eh , Xaldin , what just happened ? "

Xaldin : " It seems that Axel almost dropped the small one . . . "

 

Xengla crawled more inside of the vent and allowed Rexwand space to rest. She had now been fully rested and continued on. There was another right turn up ahead.

Rexwand was panting for air. He needed a few more minutes of rest.

 

Axel had frozen when she called him "Daddy". In fact, the word ingrained into was that solid that he didn't even hear Naminé or anyone else come in. It was almost like it echoed in his head, and for a moment, he blinked, startled. That was the first time she ever called him that. Well, not really, he thought, as he remembered one time, if his brain served him correctly, but that was because she had to, and it was awkward. This time, Shigiku really did think of him as her dad naturally. As in, father, father. Feeling something warm in his chest, spreading all around his body, he smiled somewhat goofily, his eyes shining, and he ran his hand and fingers through her hair lovingly to calm her, as the child was pretty shaken up still. In a way, he felt really special at the moment. Was that how a true father feels? "Is alright, Shi. You're sick...I should've known...it isn't your fault, you tried." With that in mind in guilt, he took back his hand, and ruffled around the bag for the medicine, thinking it was about time they gave her another dose. Placing his eyes on Naminé, he gave her a look, saying, "Yeah, we're okay. I kind of sprained my arm, but I'll deal."

He concluded it was a sprain, because he can somehow twitch and still move a little, yet he stopped and let it fall on his side, because excruciating pain came with the test. Digging around the box of children's Tylenol after he managed to open the lid with his fingers with his one good arm, he took out three of the fruity flavored candy like tablets this time, and handed them to Shigiku to eat on her hand. Tylenol was the best medicine there was there, concerning people her age, it wouldn't do good to have gotten a adult one, in case of a overdose. Three was enough. It was usually two, but a third one wasn't over the limit, especially with how much the fever had gone up. "Eat this, Shi. All of them."

He had to take of her now.

Tiffany had gotten the two water bottles in hand, and she, at the corner of her eyes, looked at the guy who popped out of nowhere, setting himself aside and standing apart from them now. He actually kind of freaked her out, more so on how he got here, along with the whole slew of powers that she had witnessed. He probably had one too, yet, who knew where his thoughts lay. Thinking that she didn't know him, despite him sounding nice, she went on to decide ignorance, especially as Axel and the little girl appeared at the exact same time, and she was unfocused already because of the close death. Tiffany didn't see if the guy worked on the bottom of the ship, as a crew, to be so far down, or something else, yet she quickly went to Axel, giving a nod at Naminé, and then gazed with indifference at the other blonde haired girl behind her, slightly frowning. Not wanting to last long staring, she bent down to give the redhead the water he asked for, whispering quietly, making sure not to be obvious to the person. "There's a dude here with us..."

Axel narrowed his eyes, a bit lost as he placed the bottles one by one on the floor, not able to open them with his disability on his arm. "What?"

She sighed, and flickered her eyes to the unknown guy that had appeared as she hissed, "I'm talking about him..."

Axel, creasing his eyebrows, went to look at the direction she was shifting at, and then his expression chnaged to that of one with a glare. Don't tell me. MORE people?

 

Namine caught Axel's expression and nodded, seeing that he was all right, but he was in pain. Thinking for a minute, she took one of the water bottles and had Shigiku drink more water, to keep her fluids up, since she was sick. She then closed the water bottle again and walked over to the elevator shaft to help anyone else up who needed it.

Shigiku snuggled closer to him, still feeling herself trembling. She kept her grip around his waist and didn't let go, the tears still falling down her cheeks. Being close to him made her feel good, like she was safe and nothing could ever really hurt her. As her crying died down, she felt herself stop trembling, but she stayed close to Axel. She saw every time he winced in pain, and knew that he had hurt himself badly, because of her. A wave of guilt flowed through her body, giving her a sickening feeling. I didn't mean for him to get hurt... She thought. Despite the fact he didn't seem mad with her anymore, she still felt guilty about it.

Shigiku was snapped out of her thoughts when Axel handed her the three Tylenol, and she didn't even bother to ask why she had to take one more. She simply took the medicine and ate it without a word. Once she had eaten them, she smiled gratefully when Namine handed her the water to drink, and she took a few tiny sips before giving it back to her. She then watched as everyone else came up the shaft, thankfully, all of them were safe.

"If you need to rest again, then go ahead..." Jack said to Rexwand. "We can't push ourselves too hard, since we still have a long ways to go after this." He began to think. Going through the air vent wasn't the only thing they needed to do. After that, they had to find a good way out of the ship, one where they wouldn't be injured.

Phisoxa kept climbing , trying not to look down but straight ahead .

Phisoxa : " Omg .. . "

 

"Thanks...but I think I'm okay now..." Rexwand replied to Jack. He flipped onto his stomach and crawled following Xengla.

Xengla kept crawling and eventually came to the end of the vent. She could see carpeted floors and some elevators, but she also heard some voices. "Hey..guys...keep it down..." She whispered back. She ahd a feeling of who the voices belonged to.

 

Exel blinked at the sight of Axel and Shigiku and smiled. Hey! It's you two! Remember me? HE asked.

 

Seeing Shigiku had taken her medicine, and even got some water from Naminé, as well as Larxene lookign fine, he took the time to glare at the new guy Tiffany pointed out, who came out of nowhere, and for pete's sake, it will be eleven people in their group already. It was hard enough for all of them to climb the damn elevator shaft, imagine what other dangers there might be. He blinked though, when the guy said if they remembered him, , and Axel squinted his eyes, eyeing him oddly. Surely, he never had any memory of meeting him. His voice did sound familiar, but he was certain he had never seen him before in his life, or even on this ship. Raising a eyebrow, he wnen to simply say in a hard voice, "No, I don't remember you."

Questionably, he stared at Shigiku, wondering if she met him herself when he wasn't with her.

Tiffany just stood there, not quite sure what was going on between them. They had met before?

"Phisoxa, hurry up!" Roxas exclaimed at the girl above him impatiently, wanting to get to everyone else in the new floor and see if they were alright by now as they were quite safe.
