"Will do!" Xengla continued on and for a while it just looked like there was a one way path as the vent quickly turned right within a matter of minutes. Xengla continued on and eventually found herself at a fork. "Uh....okay...we have a situation here...we can either go right, or we can go left."

 

It had taken only a..moderately short walk down a few hallways to fine more of the survivors.

Exel looked around surprised.

Luxord heard some clambering in the elevator shaft and looked inside to see about three four people. Hello? He called out down the shaft.

 

Once Roxas saw that Larxene had gone in, he headed back from peering into the shaft, to the remaining group left. They were making progress, really, thank goodness, and the climb up the elevator shaft, or down, whichever way anyone put it, wasn't that long, he could tell. Not wanting to go far from the door way, in case something happened to Naminé again, he nodded to Phisoxa, "You're up next."

Watching as the girl began to go forward, his attention then shifted to the three guys, and if Xaldin counted, four, needing to make sure that they were alright with him coming first, though they agreed before. "So, I'm going next, right?" He looked at them all questionably, and all he got from Marluxia was a soft shrug.

"We told you we don't mind," Zexion confirmed in his quiet tone, simply waiting patiently and calmly. "Axel was right in Demyx being last considering the water situation, so Marluxia and I decided that I will go after you, then him."

Axel was going up and up as fast as he could for the sake of Shigiku, and as his strength can allow, yet, as his eyes peered above him, he briefly halted, about to crash into Tiffany when she stopped. He saw her move the suitcases with her telepathy to a opened doorway....the last entry and floor of the elevator when going down. He could see that they reached the end by the wall that blocked the path, and he couldn't help, but breathe a sigh of relief in some sort of cheer. They still had a few steps to go, but at the speed him and Tiffany were going, they perhaps made it up quickly than expected. Looking back down to see how everyone else was doing, he saw Naminé climbing steadily a bit far off, and under her, he could see the blonde antennae that belonged to Larxene, following close behind. Shutting his eyes to finally relax himself as they almost reached for safety, he muttered happily to the little girl holding on, "Don't worry, Shi, look we're almost there..."

After he said this, glancing at Shigiku with a smile, he spoke loudly to the female on top of him, asking, "Hey, Tiff! How is it going?"

"Just fine. The elevator doors on the last floor were locked since the machine never reached it. At least normally. So I had to force my power to open it," Tiffany answered, her fear and the nervousness she was feeling before gone the more she got used to climbing, and more when she got a sight that their suffering was over. The suffering on hiking up a wall, she meant, not that they were off the ship. Making certain that the baggage was inside, she then without concern for the items, got back to heading up, being careful not to slip. She only stared once down to see Axel's handosme face gazing at her, and smiling to herself, continued onward.

 

ooc: just to let you guys know, I wont be on in saturday. Im going rock pit fishing. I'll see you guys soon. Later.

"Hmm..." Xennex, too, heard voices/shifting/(over all) other people in the elevator shaft. But, although she knew, when she looked up- "HOLY-!?"

Now that she had thought it out for a while, Xennex knew one thing- she needed to find somewhere to..'hide'. That or die in the midst of mass chaos that she knew was, by now, throughout every inch of the ship. "Crud..."

Phisoxa grabbed on gently and began pulling herself up the elevator shaft .

Xaldin just stood there with his arms crossed , nodding slowly .

OOC: You know, I actually wouldn't mind Shigiku slipping. Not that Axel will let her fall, of course. I'll wait later on Axel :D.

Roxas, seeing as Phisoxa made her way out, gave one last look to the rest of the guys, and turned around, heading to the opening of the elevator shaft. They all agreed. This time, he didn't bother looking anywhere, and repeated most of everyone's movements, putting his foot in the dent, and swinging himself on the wall, grabbing whatever he could to keep himself from falling swiftly and expertly. Not that he will slip, since he has more experience, but as he eyed over yonder above and everyone climbing, he followed suit, reaching to Phisoxa fast, and waiting for her to move so he could, in case they clash against one another. He was mostly keeping his eye on Naminé, as he said he would, though the walls weren't slippery.

Zexion stepped into it next, as he said he would be after Roxas, but unlike the rest, didn't go right in. As he stood there in the entryway, he honestly, was not looking forward to this. It just wasn't in him to do such trivial work, and really, if only there was another option. Sighing, he got inside, and moved his leg, placing his foot in one of the many holes, heaving himself in as his hand grabbed hold of another. In the graceful fashion as all Org. members due to all their stamina, he pressed himself among the surface of the wall, and stayed there for awhile in reluctance. Despite his skills on not fighting and simply using his conniving manipulation, he was still fit, he just wasn't fond of using it. In the end, he stepped up and began to climb, thinking this will be over quickly.

Very quickly.

Staring down as he went up, he saw Marluxia make his own way as well, appearing quite nonchalant and bored with all this as he swung himself and hung on, moving forwad as he hiked along with the rest. So, all that's left is Xaldin and Demyx.

 

"Gah whatever.....if this doesn't lead to a fan or something we'll go right." They continued like that for a while and there was no fan on this way however, the air vent finally seemed to go up a bit. "Hey guys....we have a bit of a climb and some major squeezing to do. You've been warned." Xengla was never a great climber and she sort of had a a lot of trouble trying to inch up the vent. She could see that you could keep going up or take a left or a right. Decisions, decisions.

 

OOC- Haha I think it'd either be funny or cute if she fell... (cute cuz it'll show how much Axel cares about her, and funny because I'm just evil like that XD) Hmm... *thinks* :P

"Okay!" Jack shouted to Xengla. "Just keep going whatever way goes up! If you can't tell, then just go right." He grinned and continued to climb after.

Namine continued to climb, staring straight ahead so that she would not acidentially look down. She did not like heights AT ALL. Glancing up at Axel and Shigiku, she continued to edge forward as fast as she could, trying to keep up with everyone.

Larxene continued to climb with ease.

Shigiku saw that they were almost there and sighed in relief. She clung to Axel tightly, despite the fact that they were almost there. However, she was starting to feel even weaker. I can hold on for just a little while longer... She thought confidently to herself. But, without realising it, Shigiku's grip on Axel had started to get somewhat looser, since she wasn't paying attention. Suddenly, she felt herself slip, and she became terrified. "Axel-sama!" She screamed, frightened.

OOC- WHAT WILL HE DO?! XD

 

"Will do." Xengla finally managed to get the hang of it thought she figured it was going to be way more difficult for the others.

Rexwand was already despairing at what they have to go through. He tried to wiggle up and it somewhat worked....slightly. He had to try and just hold on to the metal around him and pull himself up which was very hard work.

 

Axel stared on top, seeing a bit in relief as Tiffany stepped through the entrance on all fours, and disappeared from sight, signaling that she finally got into the last floor where the elevator made its final passage down, and that they were almost there themselves. It wasn't any second longer that her head popped to peer down at them, waiting, though it was at that second that he heard a ruffle, and before he knew it, Shigiku lost her grip and slid dowm his back so fast that he didn't even have any chance to be shocked or his mind to process what was happening. Hearing her scream of terror, it woke him up, and without thinking, he took one hand off the wall, and with a swift move, caught Shigiku's wrist tight as she fell, making his arm hurt as the tug felt like his joint was misplaced in his shoulder. Wincing, as now her life depended on his clasp with the one hand left and his feet, he hung on as the little girl dangled back and forth in mid-air, the only thing keeping her from going down being him.

He wasn't going to pretend and say this was easy. It was incredibly tough to just hold on without the use of two, but by hell, he wasn't going to let go. Trying really hard to put in as much strength as he was capable of, he remained there, sweat glistening in his forehead as he strained to keep her from dying. Axel was now scared to the pits of hell, and he didn't know what to do. He couldn't move up with only one hand, that was a stupid risk, yet Shigiku wasn't to be sacrificed.

His breathing quickening as he grunted, shutting his eyes hard from the struggle, his arm literally shook, as well as his body, as he pulled her up, reeled her in, gravity not helping. Axel was seriously surprised he was lasting this long without a proper balance, but he kept rising Shigiku like he was doing weights, gritting his teeth, and it wasn't until she reached around hsi thigh, that he felt his fingers slowly slipping off the wall. Alarm now, he exclaimed at her hurriedly, "Shigiku! Try to grasp on to my waist, hips, leg, anything! AND STAY THERE! Hurry!"

Roxas almost jerked his head and made it crack when he heard the scream, this time, not belonging to Naminé. Shocked, his eyes went up right away to see Shigiku hanging on by the string of Axel's arm, and all he could feel was the air in his lungs leaving him as he watched helplessly. Gaping, stunned, he paused his movements at the sight, knowing he was uselss in doing anything to help because he was all the way on the bottom from where they were. His mouth taking the form of a thin line, in fright, he glared determinedly at his best friend, trusting him. Keep the grip, Axel...keep it, damn it...

He saw as the redhead successfully hooked her in as he lifted her up, his face flushed from the exertion and work, and Roxas could see he was taking much of his effort. It was amazing enough he was holding on the wall with one hand already, but scientifically, he supposed, it wouldn't last long. And as if on cue, he heard him yell to Shigiku about hanging anywhere on his body in panicked voice.

Come on, Shigiku.

 

Namine was frantic when she heard the scream, knowing exactly who it belonged to right away. "Shigiku!" She shouted in terror, her eyes widening from the sight of seeing the small girl hanging in mid air, with nothing but Axel's hold on her wrist keeping her from falling. Dammit, if his grip slips, I won't be able to do anything to keep her from falling...! She thought and gripped the wall tighter. Hearing axel yell to her, Namine closed her eyes, not wanting to watch, just in case Shigiku were to fall. She hoped the small girl would be able to grab hold of him.

Shigiku closed her eyes when she felt herself falling, but was surprised to find that she stopped falling and something had grasped her wrist. She opened her eyes and looked up at Axel, a look of pure terror in her eyes. She whimpered helplessly, more frightened than she had ever been in her entire life. She saw him struggle to try and lift her back up, but saw that it wasn't working. She looked around, trying to figure out what to do. She didn't even have time to cry, which she normally would have done in this situation. She had to do anything she could to get a hold of Axel again. Her illness made her feel weak, and it was difficult to get a hold on him again, but she managed to get her arm securely around his waist, while he still held her other hand. "O-Okay... I-I've got it..." She said, letting him know that he could let go of her hand. She couldn't keep her voice steady.

Jack had no problems in the vent. It was a bit small, but he managed to climb up it with ease, almost like a spider.

 

Axel, when having Shigiku's confirmation, did let go in the trust of what she was doing, and quickly composed himself with both hands before the other slipped off, just once second away. If he lasted any longer, he and Shigiku will go down. And even then, he could probably save himself somehow, but he didn't think he'll be able to live with himself to have let his daughter die. Never. Resting his forehead in the surface of the wall from the stress, shutting his eyes hard as he attempted to calm himself, he regained his proper breathing. Shigiku falling that way almost gave him such a fright, that he would've had a heart attack if he actually had a heart to have a attack with. Yet what's worse, is that his whole body, if not only his arm, ached, and his shoulder when he moved it gave a sharp agony, enough to make him hiss. If you ever caught a falling body while they go down at the rate of gravity, then force the weight up, most would understand the after affect. It was too bad that he wasn't going to stop using it for now. Reopening his green eyes in determination, clouding away the hurt, and with a tight frown, he went back to look under at the little girl, moving his painful arm, to grab her under one armpit. Sounding more rough and harsh than usual, even cold, he told her, "Shigiku, listen to me again. Everytime I tug you up, crawl on my body as I help you, one by one, until you reach my back, by then, grab hold TIGHT again. And damn it, Shigiku! I mean it this time. HOLD ON. Do I make myself clear, girl? DO I?"

Roxas, spotting that Shigiku managed to grab hold, sighed, his body shuddering a little at the thought of what might've happened, and the release of the petrified sense of the situation. Taking his time to cool himself now that Shigiku was safe for the moment, he focused his eyes back on top, noticing that Axel won't be able to move properly while the little girl was grabbing at his waist, close to his legs, more so because it was dangerous. Of course, it was only done for the emergency that Axel was about to fall off himself, yet now, they all stopped to see what was next. He kind of winced, however, when his friend spoke so icily to Shigiku, it was hard not to hear anything in the shallow cave that was the elevator shaft, everything echoed. And Axel's tone really did.

Despite that, he also understood why Axel did so, or why he was acting that way subsconciously. It was the typical attitude of a parent, because of their high intensity, the nerves acting up, and the worry that went on. It was why when a child goes missing, or doesn't call, the parents when knowing they are fine, get relieved, and give them hugs and kisses, but once it sinks in, they got angry, yell, and punish you. It was the type of bipolarism every kid should be aware of. Roxas didn't really know. He was just basing this on the movies he watched.

 

ooc: hmm, so what's happened? O_o

"I would go back to my own room to go hide in my closet, but i bet that's already 1) destroyed, or 2) already filled up with water..." she sighed. "No good..."

 

I'm surprised I actually read all that.

BIC- Rexwand realized that he was slowing Jack down. "I apologize....I just....can't...climb...that easily..."

Xengla by this time had reached the part where it split and climbed into the left vent to catch her breath then she stood over the small gap."Do you need help Rexwand?"

"Maybe....but not now...." He was almost where Xengla was.

Xengla climbed back up again. This was going to be a longer climb.

 

Exel looked around and then looked down to see Axel with his clearly red hair and Shigiku which he didn't notice until he saw her nearly fall. Then that could mean that Namine was with them. He sighed as he sat down waiting as they climbed and ecided to help them. You guys need help? He called down to Axel.

 

They're in an elevator shaft. With Tiffany at the doors.
