Xehanort walked up to Jack "so do you mind filling me in on what has happened" Xehanort said

 

Axel placed his vinyl gloved covered hand over his mouth, not only to cover any hint of a smell (which was barely there due to the bodies being in a freezer, hence, being preserved), but from the bloody mess and Shigiku's mother's eyes that were still open hauntingly....he was for a moment, stunned. He wasn't disgusted, nor was he about to vomit, but the sight...was horrifying, and not satisfying to look at. God, he couldnt help but feel for these poor people...what a horrible and unfair way to be killed. Finding himself a bit numb and unmoving, he listlessly and blankly turned around to walk out, needing to get the doctor. His brain began to wire as well, and as he went outside of the freezer, he noted that they could use the sheets of the bed to cover the...bodies.

How could Jack do this? How was he capable of....killing them this way?

 

OOC- I'm officially grossed out... I've always had a thing about corpses... >.<

Jack looked up at Xehanort. "Yes... i would mind... This doesn't concern you..." He said.

Shigiku found herself running into the hold, but she wasn't sure where she was going. Shigiku stopped running and looked behind her. She saw that she had lost Namine and gave a sigh of relief as she sat against a wall, wiping her eyes. I don't need her cheering me up... She thought.

Namine looked around worridley. Oh no... where did she go...? She thought and kept running. "Shigiku! Where are you?!" She called out, now paranoid.

 

"well it was one of my men who attacked you but your right its none of my business. I sort of figured out what has happened murderer" Xehanort said

 

She heard a crash inside the room and momentarily saw Axel disappear.

O.o.......where'd he go?..... Hey! Rexwand!....Come over here please!


Rexwand was numb with terror and then hesitantly went to Xengla.

 

Axel, getting out of the room with a blank look on his face, still not over the horror he had just seen, went reluctantly to where he saw the doctor come up to Xengla. He didn't even care anymore for her presence as he went to grab the man by the scruff of his neck, a sharp, but saddened look in his eyes as he stared into the Rexwand's own frightened ones. His mind on the picture of Shigiku's parents positions and dead bodies, he simply shook the doctor up. He needed his help, and he was tired of his unprofessional actions. "I found the bodies, get some stretchers, unless you want to carry them by your shoulders. Now."

He let him go after the order, before heading back to the room without another word, going towards the bed and taking out the white sheets that he would use to cover them up, though he was upset at the moment.

 

Shigiku stood up, hearing something in a nearby room. Slowly, she got to her feet and went to see what was going on, when she spotted Axel. Gasping, she ducked behind a wall so that he couldn't see her and she watched what he was doing. She looked at him go over and grab the sheets. Now she was confused. What's Axel doing here...? She wondered and then noticed the doctor and Xengla. She blinked and looked around the room before noticing the freezer. She squinted her eyes, trying to see what was in it, but then her eyes suddenly widened at what she saw and she gasped again, covering her mouth and hiding behind the wall again. She felt tears come to her eyes but she didn't pay them any mind as she sat down, sliding against the wall as she did so. S-So that's why he wanted me to stay with Namine... She thought.

Jack's eyes narrowed at Xehanort. "If you started to figure it out then why are you asking me...?" Jack asked and then turned, walking away without a word.

Namine ran, looking around the ship frantically. I can't let anything happen to Shigiku... Namine thought and called out her name a few more times. "Shigiku! Please come out!" She shouted and stopped running, catching her breath.

 

Axel, not seeing or noticing that Shigiku was in the vacinity, draped the two sheets on his shoulders, leaving the matress bare, and only the pillow to keep it company. Walking to step inside the freezer again, he took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment to relax himself down. Opening them again, he went in, the cold air hitting him once more, but now he kept himself warm as he stopped when he reached the bloody bodies in front of him....blood, blood, blood. Though the red liquid looked dry, which is understandable considering they were basically frozen, it didn't make the job any better. Making sure not to look in the Shigiku's mother's wide eyes as he crouched down to them....it was searing and reminded him too much of the little girl herself, with thankfully having his hands covered with the vinyl gloves Rexwand gave, he swallowed hard as he tried to move the woman off being on top of her husband. It was hard, because she seemed to be stuck there, but after a bit of force, a slight crunching of ice sound was heard as Axel managed to separate them. He placed the once beautiful woman on the floor next to the man, and went to cover her first with a sheet. Making sure it was tight and over her, he went to do the same with her husband, and now all that was seen was the shape of two bodies hidden in white a she straightened back up, with a few blood spots tainting it.

Wanting to run a hand through his face distressingly, but knowing not to due to what his gloves just touched, he laid on the cold, icy wall of the freezer, closing his eyes, and just...staying there...waiting for Rexwand to come with what he asked.

Shigiku took a deep breath before looking around the corner again, and she was relieved to see that Axel had covered them. She felt kkind of guilty for running away from Namine thought. Maybe I should go back... She thought and turned to go back but froze when she saw a little heartless right in front of her. Her eyes widened and she took a step back, but she was up against the wall. "Um... nice... heartless...?" She said. The heartless tilted its head and jumped on her, sniffing her curiously. This made Shigiku scream as she fell to the floor, the small heartless on top of her.

 

Axel's head perked from his exhausted appearance, hearing the scream that rang throughout the walls and made its way into the cool and empty freezer, sounding familiar. His eyes widened as it clicked, and he lifted himself off the surface hurriedly and ran out of the dungeon refrigerator he was in, heading out of the room in a flash of panic, and spotting the pink haired little girl being tackled by a Heartless. Ignoring Rexwand and Xengla who were still there, he simply eyed the Heartless as it suddenly caught on fire by his doing before it clawed out Shigiku's heart, disminishing it into nothing but black wisps, and soon...disappearing completely.

"Shigiku!" he exclaimed as he went to her, both surprised and anxious at the fact that she was here. How in the world did she found the hold? He was about to place his hands on her shoulders, but then remembered of what he had done with the gloves, and resisted. He gazed down at the girl in front of him, however, question in his eyes. "What are you doing here? Namine was suppose to watch you..."

 

Shigiku sat up once the heartless was gone, trembling. "I-I know..." She said. "B-But then Tenshi ran away... And then I wanted to be alone but I couldn't with Namine there every second, so I ran away, too... A-And then I found this place and saw that you were here... A-And then-..." She stopped talking for a moment and looked up at him apologetically. "I-I'm really sorry, Axel-sama..." She said. She looked down, feeling guilty for running away from Namine.

 

Axel shook his head, as if to say not to worry about that, but he didn't get what had happened. Tenshi ran away? She wanted to be alone? As his green eyes looked down on hers, smiling weakly, he went to ask, "Why...why did Tenshi ran away? I don't understand. And why did you want to be alone for? There are better ways to get some privacy without running away...and now you probably have Namine worried sick. You have to apologize to her, not to me...though it's okay. At least you're okay." He hesitated after his soft spoken words, before also adding, his eyes downcast at what he knew was in the freezer, "And you shouldn't be here right now..."

 

"I don't know why tenshi ran away... She just got really mad when Namine told us to watch out for the heartless and she yelled at her, running away... And she took the heartless with her..." Shigiku explained. She was a bit scared of what might happen to Tenshi. What if the heartless tried to take her heart? Or what if she got hurt by somebody else on the ship...? Shigiku hated to think that anything would happen to her...

"And I know there are other ways... I-I just wasn't thinking right... and I just didn't want to be around anybody..." She looked up at Axel. "Yeah... You're probably right..." Shigiku said and stood up. But when Axel said that she shouldn't be there, she looked down. "Yeah... I-I know..." she said. She bit her lip as the image came back in her mind.

Namine sighed and leaned against wall. She couldn't have gotten that far... Namine thought and kept searching.

 

"don't feel too bad. After all you are just human. you can't control your emotions" Xehanort said to Jack and started walking away and caught up with Namine "so do you know where Axel is" Xehanort said

 

Axel's eyes grew at her face when she said she knows, and wondered for a moment, before going to stand from his bent down position as well. However, he eyed Shigiku gently, not wanting her to go just yet, as he wanted to make sure, trying to find how to word it. "Shigiku....how long have you been here? What do you mean, you know? And...you still didn't answer why you wanted to be alone in the first place. Remember how I promised I wouldn't lie to you? Well, I need you to do the same for me...and trust me enough to share what's wrong. Or else I'll get worried..." He sighed. "I won't get mad or anything, I just want to understand...what is it that's bothering you?"

 

I said I know because I saw what's in the freezer..." She said, tears filling her eyes as the image came back to her mind. "I've been here for a little while..." She looked down, staying silent for a moment. Then, she began to speak again. "Well... I-I wanted to be alone 'cuz... I feel like I'm replacing my parents..." She said, the tears now falling down her cheeks. "With you and Namine taking care of me... I-I'm afraid that I'm going to forget them... B-But I don't want to forget them..." She closed her eyes, allowing the tears to fall gently to the floor.

Jack stopped walking and looked at the ground. What does he mean 'human'? He's human, too... right...? Jack thought.

Namine turned to face Xehanort. "No... I don't..." She said, out of breath from running. "Have you happened to see Shigiku anywhere...?" She asked, almost in a panic.

 

Xehanort snaped his fingers and the guardian appeared "find shinku and make sure she is alright and make sure she doesn't see you" Xehanort said and the guardian nodded and went into the ground

 

Axel sighed deeply and closed his eyes in a groan, hearing that she saw the bodies when that was the last thing he needed,or wanted. He was even surprised the girl didn't need therapy right at this moment. Next time, he'll make sure to leave her to one of the Organization members, as they had powers, and will track her much more easily than Naminé could, not that she was a bad baysitter, but if any run away, he knew the blonde won't be able to catch up or stop them.

However, those thoughts vanished as he listened to Shigiku's other words, and he was going to place his hand on her cheek for comfort, but then remembered again about his gloves...and he didn't want to take them off because he knew the bodies have yet to be moved. Sighing, Axel shook his head at Shigiku. "You won't forget them, Shi, you can never forget them...except when one has memory problems, but even so....they will always, always, live in your heart, and the love for them that you had will forever remain there. They're never lost. Is stupid to think that way, Shi, I have to say honestly....I can never replace your father, as neither can Naminé, or any other, can replace your mother. That's not what we are trying to do...you need someone to take care of you, and while I can't be your true father, I'll still be your father figure, and Naminé will be a mother figure...and our job is to guide you in life, love you, and not make you face anything alone. If you need help, we're here, if you want a hug, I'm here, if you want advice, we're all here...Pumpkin. It never means that we're replacing your parents....just taking care of you for them...okay? Got it memorized?"

 

Shigiku's eyes widened as he said this and she looked up at him. He's right... I can never forget the people I love... She thought. And even if I do forget, they'll still be in my heart... And even though I like Axel and Namine alot, they can never replace my parents... She couldn't help but glance over at the freezer. This is really confusing... They're gone, but yet they're not gone... She put her hand to her chest where her heart was. But if they're really still here, then how come I miss them so much...? She looked up from the ground to look at Axel and then nodded, finally speaking. "Yeah..." She said, completely understanding what he meant. So now that my parents can't take care of me... Axel and Namine are taking care of me for them... But they're not trying to be replacements for my parents... They're just trying to make sure I don't get hurt...

 

Axel just nodded, hoping she truthfully got it this time, and eyed her intently for sometimes, trying to study her eyes, and just get what she was thinking. Sighing though, with a one second glance to Rexwand and Xengla, he turned back to Shigiku. "Listen, I know you miss them...and I know you may never get the chance to hug them, and be hugged in return, being loved by them, or having them by your side, but think on the fact that they're always watching you...they're always there...if you have a problem, running isn't the answer. Remember that we understand, and you can talk with us..." Saying this, he stretched his arms upward, so tired and jaded, that when this was over, he was going to take a nice shower, doing this made him feel dirty for some reason, and sleep. He then looked troubled at the girl, not wanting her to see what was here more than she had to. "Now, I don't know what to do...since I don't know where Naminé is to send you back. And I'm worried you'll get lost again..."
