"It's alright..." Namine replied. "It's probably better that you didn't kill him..." She looked down at Shigiku. "As to where she'll go, I don't think she'll be very interested in socializing at this point. She just found out that both of her parents are dead. She might be afraid of losing anybody she becomes friends with." Namine looked back up at him. "Although, it could cause problems if she came back to the castle with us. One thing is that it can't possibly be good for a girl her age to grow up with a bunch of nobodies. She really does need somebody her own age, too. Not to mention that Xemnas might not be very happy about that. We can't send her to a foster home, though. It'd hurt her too much..." Namine stopped talking and tried to think of something they could do, but the only thing she could come up with was to bring her back to the castle with them. Who knows what could happen there...? She thought.

Shigiku shifted slightly as she started to wake up. Her eyes slowly opened and she yawned, looking up at Axel and Namine talking. She sat up and it wasn't long before she remembered the few events that had just happened. She looked over at Axel and could tell that he looked upset. namine seemed to be upset, too. I guess I'm not the only one who's upset... She thought and sat there silently.

Jack looked at Xehanort. "Yeah... I'm fine..." he said and let go of the railing, standing up with his own strength. He looked at Xengla. "I was riding the ship ever since it left the first day... how else?" he said and stared at them suspiciously. "Who are you two...?" he asked.

 

.......people......well....this ship is pretty big.......but since that attack took about.....oh......maybe.....75% of the population.....i haven't seen much different people.....except for him and a couple others.

 

Xehanort was interested in how Jack got into that condition "say you look pretty beat up do you know who did this to you" Xehanort said "mayby it was Luxord being drunk and getting into fights" Xehanort thought to himself

 

I don't think so.....Luxord wouldn't do that........

She examined Jack more closely.

He's right......is that....a scorch mark?.....

OOC: I'm surprised Jack can even speak xP. Maybe he can tell Xengla about a redhead guy beaten the hell up or something now that Xehanort asked and about Shigiku, which makes Xengla visit the suite...Jack knows which one it is?...*shrug*

"Our options are limited, Naminé. The best we can do now is take her to The World That Never Was. I'm not leaving her in a orphanage," Axel stated, knowing there was just no other choice in the matter, and he didn't think Shigiku would want to be far from him at the moment, or anyone one of them, they were the only ones she knew. He'll make sure nothing goes wrong in the castle, and besides, it wasn't like all the Organization members were mentally ill, and if they are, she had him to be there for her. They can make it work. He could portal her every day to school, and let her come back to what will be her home, help her with her homework, unless he didn't fade by that time, he could....goodness, he was going to have to be a real father now, wouldn't he? Letting out a breath, he felt something moving under him, and found Shigiku waking up groggily, only for the little girl to look at each of them blankly. 'Feeling' a swelll of sadness and guilt, as well as disappointment in himself, he went to wrap her arms around her little body tightly, bringing her into a hug as he leaned down. Another ache filling him, he muttered in a croak and of regret as he closed his eyes on her shoulder, "I'm sorry, Shigiku...I know I promised...but I couldn't...I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..."

 

....not really...it's just.....:D.....I don't know.......criminals kind of....appeal to me somewhat.......okay.....I'm going to list all the characters I've ever liked.....in my next post just because I'm bored.

Namine nodded, but, seeing as Shigiku was waking up, she decided to let them have a bit of time to talk. She stood up and silently left the room.

Shigiku felt tears coming to her eyes again as she hugged Axel back. She let them fall gently down her cheeks as she looked up at Axel. However, she gave him a small smile. "I-It's okay, Axel-sama..." she said. "It's not your fault..." She could tell that he was hurting inside, and she didn't want that. All I want now is for Axel-sama to be happy... she thought and then looked down. Sure, I wish my parents were here, but they're not the only ones I care about... I care about Axel-sama and Nami, too... And I don't want them to be upset...

Jack took a deep breath and explained to them about how Axel had attacked him, and he even told them about what he had done to Shigiku and her parents. Once he finished, he looked down. "I don't know who the guy was, though..." he looked up at Xengla. "I'm guessing you do...?" he asked, crossing his arms. He sat back down on the ground and leaned against the railing, not able to find the strength to stand anymore.

OOC- I'm too lazy to post Jack telling them what happened, so just look back at what I was telling Fire if u want to know XD

 

She managed to catch his arm before he fell.

........huh.......well......that's quite a story......well......at least you can admit what you've done.....

She looked over at Xehanhort giving a knowing glance that it was Axel.

 

OOC: Naminé left the room, ooh, go to the scene of Jack. For some reason, I chuckled a little at the "Nami" thing xD, since she doesn't like people calling her that. ZOMG, Axel is going to brainwash her. Next thing you know, he'll be calling Luxord, "Brit". And calling Xengla, "Angle" xP (if he ever accepts her).

Axel lifted his head up, going to look at her face intenttly, yet not breaking their embrace, wanting to see if she wasn't just saying that to make him feel better, his eyes burning and getting a bit blurry. She didn't blame him? "Really? I mean you're not mad or hate me because I didn't bring your parents back like I promised? Because I was going to....I really was...we were taking a break, but...I was...I'm sorry, Shi. For everything. Now...you have lost the important people in your life..."

Shigiku looked down sadly for a minute, but then she looked back up at Axel. "I know you tried to find them, though... And that's enough for me... Please don't blame yourself... You shouldn't have to take the blame for something he did..." She looked back down again, tears silently fallinf down her cheeks. "And even though I've lost the two most important people in my life, I know there are still people who care about me... Like you and Namine..." This statement just made Shigiku feel even more sad and she hugged him tighter. She was crying now. Even though I know there are people who care about me, I can't help but be sad for the people I've lost...

Jack looked at Xengla and sighed. "That doesn't make anything that I've done right, though..." he said.

 

True......you're just going to have to live with it......I'll try and help if possible.

 

Axel didn't turn his eyes away from her, wanting to see if she was telling the truth, and once he was aware that she didn't blame him, or hated him for anything at all, he felt a bit better, excep that he couldn't help but sympathize and feel for Shigiku at the moment, losing her parents at such a young age, and for a mistake...a simple mistake from a blind man that he should've killed. He wiped away her tears as he always did when she was crying, letting one of his own fall down his cheek, before he had her in a proper embrace again, hoping that she'll be alright in the end. Now....now it was his job to look and care after her, and that's what he was going to do. "I'm sorry, really...but I'll be here, and I'll protect you for as long as I can, alright? As long and as much as a father could...because you're staying with me..." He hesitated for a moment after this, but went to add quietly, yet with all the meaning he could muster as a Nobody, "I love you, Shi-chan..."

 

*gasp* O.O.......wow......well...I've got to go for a bit.

 

OOC: Oh, okay. And is the love of a daddy :3. What age do you think Axel is? He looks like a twenty-one to me...everytime I see him is like..."twenty-one." If not, twenty.

Shigiku looked up at Axel, a bit shocked. I'm... really going to stay with him...? I'm going to go live with him and Namine...? she thought and that somehow made her feel a bit better. However, one thing that made her feel alot better was knowing that Axel would be there for her... and That her parents were still watching over her and keeping her safe. She felt the tears keep falling down her cheeks, but they weren't only from sadness. They were also from joy. She was happy to be with Axel, even though she still wasn't happy about her parents. Then a thought came to her mind: I can't just replace my parents... I loved them more then anybody... It doesn't feel right to just go on without them... But they'd want me to... They'd want me to go on being happy... Shigiku closed her eyes and continued to hug Axel. "I love you, too, Axel-sama..." She said, smiling.

OOC- omg this is just too cute to bear! <3 :D

"What is your name...?" Jack asked Xengla after a brief pause.

 

OOC: Oh, okay, darn. I probably won't ^^;.

Axel had to smile a little too as he kept her in his arms for a while, a bit glad to hear a bit of happiness and joy in her voice compared to all the sadness that he had been hearing from her so far, especially for the loss of her parents. This made him feel more free and less bitter about the whole thing, except that he wouldn't tell her where the bodies are...that was something...he didn't want her to look at them...he didn't even know how Jack killed them, she was too young to see that. However, he rubbed her back in a comforting manner, before finally breaking their hug, passing his hand through her hair, wanting her to know something, "Listen, I'm not trying to replace your parents or anything of the sort....I could never do that, but I'll try my best to fit the parent role...I mean, I've never exactly had a kid..." He quirked a grin there, trying to make a joke.

Shigiku gently wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, looking up at Axel. So... by being with Namine and Axel, I won't be replacing my parents...? she thought and then relaxed a bit, glad to hear something like that. It made her feel more comfortable. Even though her parents were gone, she could still have a "family" that loved her, and the loss wouldn't be as hard. Shigiku looked over at the window and at the sky. She felt more tears fall down her cheeks. No matter how much I try, I can't stop crying... I just miss them too much. They were the only people that really cared for me until now... She looked up at Axel. I feel sad... but Axel-sama makes me feel happy. I know that this would be much harder without him... She giggled a little at his joke. "You're doing a good job so far..." she said and hugged him again, smiling.

bic: Tenshi heard the sound of giggling coming from a window and she peaked in, seeing a red-headed man and a little girl, sheplopped down below the window so that they wouldn't see her

 

"I hope I am," Axel chuckled as she glomped him, the mood and tension much more lightened, considering the circumstances. He didn't mind Shigiku crying, she was going through a hard time right now, and had to, but at least what mattered is that she had some ray of hope still left. She wasn't going to be completely scarred by this, and it put him at eased as he broke their embrace, looking at her eyes, "Remember what I told you before, about what true strength and bravery really is."

Now, to get this news to Xemnas and see where it takes them, because he was sure as hell going to keep her, he wasn't going to abandon her now, and maybe she'll find a place there in the castle. As another thing popped into his mind, though, he stared at her sternly, his expression changing to that of serious as he eyed her sharply, "Though, I have to make sure you don't do one thing...
