Organization 13 and guests go on a ... WTF ? A Disney Cruise ?! O.O Who wrote this ?

"It's not that simple..." Namine explained. "When you have memory loss... the memories tend to try to pull themselves to the back of your mind... so that you can't see them... What I tried to do last time was to pick one memory that was chained to all of the rest somehow... and then build up all of the memories behind it to keep it at the front of her mind... to help her remember... If I tried to do it your way... I'd have to find something powerful to keep the memories in place... Not to mention that it'd be hard enough to place them that perfect..." She looked down at Shigiku and gently pushed a lock of hair our of her face. "And by temporarily... I mean that I could do what I did last time... I could push her memories to the front of her mind and let her remember... until they force themselves back again..." Namine bit her lip and close her eyes, trying to think of something else she could do... something to use to keep the memories in place... but her eyes flashed open when she heard a small noise.

The small noise was, of course, Shigiku. Her eyes started to open a little.

Namine started to freak out a little. Shoot...! She can't wake up yet! she thought and quickly placed her hand on her forehead again, making her go back asleep. She knew that neither her nor Axel liked to see her in this situation. She worridley felt her hand across her forehead, making sure that nothing had happened by her waking up.

 

Exel sighed and then rolled off the roof and on front of Namine's room and knocked on it several times.

 

"So if you do it again, the memories will bump, and it will be the same old cycle," Axel summarized to himself, feeling like crap more than ever at the mention of this, the ache inside him growing to the point where he didn't even want to be here any more, or even talk to Shigiku at all after this, just to have her memory lost. There was no point to it...and it will be worse for him since he'd have to hear her asking his name, over and over. Trying not to let it show on his face, and making sure to keep his voice even, he croaked, "Forget the temporary... it would only repeat itself, and is only more pain for her. At least, that's what I got from it, or am I wrong? What would be that something powerful? Is it something I could offer?"

He stared at her hopelessly, only to get interrupted by a few knocks in the door, and let out a breath.

 

Alright, you might know me because you threatened to kill me about a day ago. He said.

 

Namine sighed. "Hang on..." she called to Exel at the door and turned back to Axel. She thought about it for a moment. Perhaps energy could hold it together... but my energy is only able to hold together small fragments of her memories... but... Namine looked at Shigiku and then looked back at Axel. "Can you trust me...?" Namine asked, knowing that he probably wouldn't understand her question. "I came to a conclusion on how to help her memories stay together... for good... but I'm going to need your help... you'll have to trust me in order to do this, though..."

 

Hey! You can use my energy to save your friend. He called.

 

Axel perked up, the first time something sparking in him that was akin to hope or gladness, ignoring the voice at the door of the "inspector", as he did threaten to kill him, but that wasn't importantt at the moment. He didn't even need do think twice, he was tired of being useless anyway, and he wanted to do something to make Shigiku feel better. "Of course, I trust you...why do you think I always bring you to her, other than the fact that you're the only one who can help? I know I get upset, but I can't help it to think she might...I'll do...I'll do anything to help her memories, Naminé...I don't want it to go on anymore..."

He gazed at her earnestly and with honest intentions, already determined to give energy when needed. Axel heard the "inspector" speak again, only to widen eyes, pausing in his action. He looked at Naminé to see the reaction on the suggestion....but really, can they simply trust a stranger? Other than that, he wanted to do it...Axel didn't know why people were eavesdropping on what wasn't their business in the first place...not that the "inspector" ever respected privacy, he showed that well.

 

I know you think it's not my business but I help people, not watching them lose something precious while I'm on the sidelines. He said. Just let me in and I'll give you my energy.

 

"Thanks for offering... but your help isn't needed in the current situation... you can come in if you want... but we have it under control..." Namine said to the inspector. She looked at Axel and nodded. "Alright... but... I should tell you now... that there's no guarentee that this will work... but I will do everything that I can to help her..." she smiled reassurringly. "Now... I just need you to relax... and try the best you can to focus your energy towards the palms of your hands... even if you're not sure how just give it a shot..." She said and took his hands by the wrists and gently placed them on top of Shigiku's forehead. Then she placed her own hands on top of his and closed her eyes, beginning to piece the memories together... like a "puzzle" as Axel had said...

 

Exel opened the door and sat down on a chair watching them.

 

Axel nodded, leaning and halfway sitting down on the side table drawer close and next to the bed. It might not work, but it was worth a try, and doing what instructed, he closed his eyes, concentrating his energy to the specific place of his hand, as Naminé moved them to Shigiku's forehead. Feeling her own hands on top of his, he began to flow the energy into his palm, that unbeknownst to Naminé, it was simple, because it was the same way he concentrated his energy when summoning his fire or weapons.

He could feel it seeping from his hand and out to the girl, giving all he could, but keeping the power low unless it was needed otherwise. But Axel made sure to focus and make his mind clear of all thoughts, and his body free of all "feelings", the worries, sadness, and hurt that he had experienced...almost like cleansing the soul.

 

Namine heard the inspector come in, but did not say anything or open her eyes. She needed to have complete concentration in order for this to work. She could feel Axel's energy flowing smootly into Shigiku and she used it to "glue" the memories in place. It was kind of difficult to get the memories in the perfect place... but she managed to get a few. But she was a little nervous. She felt sweat run down her forehead as she tried to lay a memory down... was almost like the game Operation... one false move and it's game over... She took a deep breath and kept going, taking it slow so that she didn't mess up... she couldn't afford to mess up... this may be Shigiku's last chance of surviving.

A while later, Namine took her hands off of Axel's and pulled his hand away from her forehead. She opened her eyes and looked down at Shigiku, thinking. She gently placed a hand on her forehead and then pulled it back.

 

Exel made a satisfied face and stood up. I'll be leaving, looks like this time, I am no use for now. He said and then left.

 

Axel was patient throughout the whole process, getting a bit tired to be in the same position, but not willing to ruin anything by moving, or thinking, or even blinking. It wasn't until Naminé removed his hand that he let himself get back to reality, and fluttered his bright green eyes open, watching the face of the girl he had come to love like a daughter, and hearing the inspector leave. He waited a little bit, anxiousness treading back into the confinements of his body, and wondering how the operation went. Axel was a little apprehensive to ask, because it could be anything, but he needed to know the results, and so, he gazed at the blonde, "Well, did it work...?"

 

Namine looked at Shigiku once more and then looke back up at Axel. A smile crossed her lips and she gave a small laugh. "Yeah... it did..." she said. All of her energy was almost gone by now, but it didn't really metter to her. She was just glad that she was okay. Namine put her hand on Shigiku's forehead once more and then took it off once more, still smiling. She had done that to wake her up.

Once Namine removed her hand, Shigiku's eyes fluttered open and she looked up at the two. Something didn't seem right to her... They were both looking at her strange. "What's going on...?" she asked and yawned, sitting up. She looked at the two curiously.

 

Axel wanted to cheer when Shigiku opened her eyes (at least, that's a simple way to explain the happiness and relief he was in), and Naminé claimed it worked, but since he was a man and he had his pride and dignity to keep, he just simply grinned. However, her question kept him from doing anything out of character and bounds, and he simply eyed her tenderly, switching from his makeshift seat on the side table drawer, to sitting down on her side in the bed. In one quick second, he bent down to hug her as best he could as she laid down, his face on her shoulder and a bit on the pillow, smiling a little, not being able to resist. In a breath, he answered, remembering that he had promised to tell the truth, "You had memory problems again...but we fixed it in time...I took you here just in time, if not, you would've...Naminé can explain it better..."

 

Namine looked at Axel then back at Shigiku. "Well... you already know what would've happened... because I explained it to you once before... but what happened is that your memories were breaking... and Axel helped me put them back together..." she said and smiled. "For good this time..."

Shigiku looked at Axel and then Namine, a grin forming on her face. This was excellent news to her... she felt like jumping up and down and screaming with joy... but she knew this was not the right time or place to do that... so she didn't. "So... that means my memories are fixed...?" she asked.

Namine nodded, still smiling.

Shigiku sat up on the bed and hugged Axel. From what she had heard... it was all because of him that she was even still there. "Thanks, you guys... you're the best!" she said and grinned, glad that she wouldn't have to go through that again... or so Namine said.

 

OOC:*cue dramatic music* DUN DUN DUN DUUUUNNNNNN!!!!!!

 

OOC: *cue slow motion voice* Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...uuuuu....uuuuu...u *stops*. The Shigiku suffering will never end D=. Or will it?

Breaking off the embrace, he smiled at Shigiku, really happy, at least the emotion of it, that he won't ever have to go through this again, and won't have to worry anymore about Shigiku losing her life, that's what elated him so much; he wouldn't have to lose her, or be concerned about it anymore. This was a huge relief for him like no other, and things can be normal again, at least he hoped so. Staring back at the kid, he said, "We're not the best, we just worry about you, that's all. Is a good thing my mind had cleared enough so I took you to Naminé..." Mentioning the girl, he glanced at her from the corner of his eyes, thankful, but questionably. "And there are no more problems...right?"

 

OOC- lol u took that too literally... XP the problems may not stop... but her memory problems end tonight... XD

Shigiku smiled and looked over at Namine.

"Well... from what I see... everything should be fine from now on..." she said, smiling. "No more memory problems to be seen... But if something ever does happen then you take her straight to me just like you did... and don't panic... understood?" she asked.

Shigiku couldn't help but giggle at the way Namine was speaking. "You sound like you're his mom..." she said and laughed.
