Kingdom Hearts II Org. XIII's basement

we know that Castle Oblivion has basements, because that's where Reverse/Rebirth takes place, but what about The Castle That Never Was?(maybe that's where The Soundless Prison is.)

I thought the chamber that Xemnas goes down into where Aqua's armor and Keyblade are was down below in TWTNW castle. So that might have been the basement equivalent there.

 

no, that's in Hollow Bastion, remember the scene before that? it shows Xemnas entering a disc into the computer in Hollow Bastion and the basement opening up in the Heartless Factory.

 

The Castle could have a basement, but I don't think the prison is there (it's where they held Kairi, right?) since in the one cutscene before you enter the castle the light beam thing was coming from way above.

 

Even if the prison is in the a basement under the castle, it doesnt mean the mystery's mostly over.

Who knows how large the basement could have been? And since it home to OrgXII, it could have been a place for experiments and storage of secret items, making a very interesting palce to find.

What happened to Maleficent and Pete after KH2? Did they aquire the castle once nobody was left at it? Was the castle destroyed? Whether it was or not, and if Maleficent and Pete are still alive, they may have discovered the secrets of the basement.

 

It is Aqua's armor. What the heck is Soundless Poison?

The bottom of the CTNW is hovering in air. The bottom depths you are referring to is a mystery to me. I have no idea whats down there, only that there is a bottom and it's not too deep going down. Watch the cutscene where the Heartless pop up when the fragments of KH fall to the ground. hat proves there is nothing down there.

 

If the basement isn't very big, I think there could maybe be some kind or portal down there... but then I dont have much reason for that theory, except that it would take up little space and still be something highly secret and important.
This would mean TCTNW is linked to other places or castles.
But really I doubt there'd be anything there, becasue TWTNW is probably over now. The OrgXII was destroyed, and there castle probably lost all use once they were gone.

Perhaps the castle was alive... There was that dragon thing and it looked like it was made of the same material as the castle, except that it also seemed to be alive. Even though it may have been a more machine-like version of life, maybe the castle actually lives. Then it could have its own heart (mechanical or organic or both) down there. A big secret that takes up little space. And if so, I think the castle would take over Maleficent when she explores and tries to manipulate whatever's in the basement.

Wild theories, but still...

sounds interesting....but why would Orginazation XIII need a portal???

 

I'm guessing the basement must be at the lowest part of the castle.Like right at the bottom.Unless the Organization had put her somewhere else in the castle.

 

Hmm, you are right Evilman_89. That was at Hollow Bastion. Well maybe it doesn't have a basement then since we've seen no scenes of it or we just didn't need to go there. Maybe in 358/2 Days we will see more of the castle there, but otherwise it's most likely going to be a mystery. Most places have basements, especially when that huge because of the necessity of a strong foundation, so I'd bet it would have one, but it just wasn't important to the story.

 

Kairi was held at the place where the light beam was coming from (unless I've made a huge mistake) , don't know if that's low enough to be called a basement though.
