A swarm of heartless appeared around Gemoxiz "hmm... 12 heartless?"
He took out his guitar...
[SIZE="+1"]"DANCE!"[/SIZE] He shouted as he shredded his guitar. As Gemoxiz played, the heartless surrounding him exploded and turned into water.

 

Daxent looked on as the others destroyed heartless in the training room, even his brother had gone away from his side and started desroying some of his own, this brought on some laughter from Daxent as he once again adjusted his glasses."Eventually every heart taken by us, will wander to this world and form together to make kingdom hearts" He spoke softly remembering what he had studied

 

Krixie, still standing close to Apollox, heard Daxent murmur something to himself, about Kingdom Hearts...as the other members continued to do battle against the heartless, overcoming them easily.
This is pointless... she thought, a soft frown upon her face. Turning to the Superior, she walked over to him, lowering her eyes slightly in respect.
"Superior...would it be okay...if I do not fight with the others?" she asked. "I prefer to use a less violent tactic...to plan instead of fighting."

 

Xelgaeb whipped the chain in his hand and it fell straight and became his staff again. He felt he had had enough training for the day, and left the chamber, eyeing Daxent's rapturous gaze over the lone dusk in the field.

 

"It's okay" he said place a hand on her shoulder, he knew she wouldn't understand. "you can go wait until we get a mission" he said as he called Daniel over

 

Xelgaeb returned to his laboratory. "Impossible conditions..." he muttered as he entered. "Frozen equipment....shattered beakers..." For a while, he pretended to ponder over his notes, but he could not keep his mind from wandering to the strange connection between the Superior and the lone Dusk.

 

"Alright..." Krixie nodded. She turned and, glancing over at Apollox, sent her a comforting smile before walking out of the room. Going down the hallway, she headed straight for Xelgaeb's laboratory.
"Hello?" she asked, softly, tentatively.

 

Frostex looked at the heartless around him which didn't move towards him at all. "I'm to dark for these heartless... they won't attack me... kinda sad." he said with no emotion.

 

Xelgaeb put down his notes, and greeted the arrival. "Hello, then. How may I help you?"

 

"Oh, I was just curious...about where you were going," Krixie answered, as she stepped into the room. Looking around, she could see several tables, full of scientific equipment, some frozen, a few broken...
It had once belonged to number IV, Vexen, the Chilly Academic, of the previous Organization XIII...he was a scientist with the elemental power of ice, with a shield as his weapon. It seemed that after he had faded away, his lab became ignored, and thus, grew a bit...sordid, musty almost.
"So are you a scientist?" she asked, looking up at him. "Or do you enjoy scientific studies?"

 

"Both, actually" he replied. "I studied the hidden memories of the heart, once upon a time." He began repairing the beakers with his power. "But, now, I spend most of my time looking in on my soul - why it should go on without my heart."

ooc: Nice job, picking up the Vexen part.

 

"it doesn't really matter does it?" Daxent told Frostex "all we need is the hearts" he said begining to walk away

Krixie watched as Xelgaeb had used his powers to repair the beakers, obviously intrigued. Tilting her head up to look at him, she asked, "Have you discovered the reason yet?"

 

"No...." He said, a bit off-handedly. "And to tell the truth," He continued, "I never devised a safe way of delving into one's memories, either."

 

"Perhaps...your desire for knowledge, to find a method, some way to discover the memories of the heart...is what makes you go on living without a heart," Krixie suggested, softly. "Even without a heart, you can still study, still observe, to try and find that way...and perhaps on the way, you can strive to obtain the heart that you lost all those years ago...through the way of Kingdom Hearts." She smiled. "It's like killing two birds with one stone...something like that?"

 

"Perhaps the answer is as simple as that." He said. "But if that is the case, something even deeper inside pushes me to find facts, the evidence to prove it so." he sighed. "I guess it comes of being a scientist. Something becomes written on your very soul that you must understand and explain everything." He gave an unconvincing smile toward her.

 

"I suppose the heart is very intriguing," Krixie said, smiling back at him, although hers seemed full of warmth, almost of emotion. "Well, I truly hope you find the answers you seek, Xelgaeb..." Glancing at the newly-mended beakers, she asked, "So...you have the power to fix?"

 

"To change." He said, glad to change the subject to something less personal. "If I know what an object is made of, I can morph it into something else of the same material. Useful.... And how about yourself?"

 

"Oh, nothing really...just being able to sway nature, make it grow and move as I please," Krixie answered. "Although to tell the truth...I don't really know how to fight very well...which is why I rather use my head instead, as you might've overheard me telling the Superior."

 

"I can't honestly say I did. I was concentrating rather hard in the training area. It takes a bit of mind power for me to change objects." He scavenged a bookshelf in the corner for nothing in particular. "Ordinarily, I would have opposed violence as well, but I've recently learned that there are times when it is inevitable."
