    I did as well. There's just something about playing the first game so you actually know what the storyline is...

    The only game I've skipped playing the first of was Tombraider, because I don't have the console.

    My mom was supposed to get me CoM for Christmas, but got me KHI. So yeah, I played it first.

    I played Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, re:CoM, then 358/2 Days. The first Kingdom Hearts was really challenging.

    The first time I played it through, I played tag team with my next-door-neighbor. When one died, we'd switch off the controller to the other, and our strengths kind of complimented each other. Things that were hard for one were easy for the other. The only thing we had a lot of trouble with was the second time you fight Ansem on the fake Destiny Islands thing. There were certain parts he could do that I couldn't, and certain parts I could do that he couldn't. Eventually, when Ansem was about to do something I couldn't do, and I was really low on health and about to die, so I paused it, handed the controller to him and said "HERE! YOU DO IT!" So, we started switching off like that. LOL We got REALLY far in that battle, but didn't beat it. It only took us a couple of tries after that, though. That was the hardest battle in the game imho. The following battles were much easier.

    Anyway, KHII was disappointing in comparison. It wasn't much of a challenge, and the storyline was kind of a letdown as well, and the only people who ever really disagree with me on that are the people who played KHII first.

    I found the change in the battle system in re:CoM a challenge, personally. Something new to get used to and more of a strategic kind of game. I LOVED the storyline, too. *die-hard Namora fan*

    358/2 Days didn't disappoint me either. Really, in my opinion, KHII was the only dud in the series.

    Wow, I can ramble on... Sorry about that. ^^;;

    Yeah, graphics took some getting used to, but the game is good. I recommend playing it if you can. :3

    I actually liked the battle system in Kingdom Hearts II, but the battles themselves needed to match the system, like, they needed to be harder, either that, or special moves should have been harder to use. I liked the 358/2 Days system of limit breaks. Maybe they'll keep that system through the series.

    Kingdom Hearts -> Chain of Memories -> Kingdom Hearts II -> Re:Chain of Memories

    Haven't played Days yet?. ;o

    I'd assume most of us played KH first. It came out when I was very young, so I kind of grew up trying to beat it. (finally did in fifth grade, oyah ;D)

    I played... KH1 first, then CoM... after that, KH2 and KH2 FM after beating the normal version. Then I tried playing the Re:CoM, but I wasn't really motivated due to lack of Japanese language knowledge. In KH2FM it was different, since it was a game worth playing after KH2, and I really wanted to unlock both secret videos. =)

    KH1 > KH:CoM > KH2 > KH358/2

    I just got them as they came out I guess.

    KH2 was a huge let down for me though as the other three are miles beyond it in terms of gameplay.

    I played all of them in the correct order and because of that, I was one of the few people in my group of friends to actually know why Sora was asleep in KH2 because everybody thought that COM wasn't important for god know what reason.
