I view the glass as twice as big as it needs to be. I'm not quite sure what category that puts me in.
I'd probably have to say Realist though, I try to look at things objectively and not assume anthing especially good or bad will happen.

I'd say that I'm a mix of all three. How I view something always depends on the conditions, and conclusions I come to after I've contemplated over it.

I suppose I can say that I am an optimist and a realist more so over being a pessimist though. I go by common sense most of the time, and do what I thought would give me positive results. I first run the thought over my head and weigh both the pros and cons before making the final decision. There is no reason to be pessimistic about everything that happens, as bad things will always happen no matter what you do.

My being optimistic is my own way of staying sane. I also do so for the sake of others as well—for encouragements and etc., it really helps. It's good to sometimes look at things with hope, for every problem has a solution, and sooner or later, it will be resolved [though more realism is applied here than optimism]. Optimism is a good thing since sometimes that is EXACTLY what it takes to appreciate certain things around you...and some—including me—learn it the hard way.

im a pessimist. i know it sounds bad, but looking at things as "half empty" really isnt such a an awful thing. it actually gives you a better perspective on how to make things better than if you say: "oh its all good itll turn out fine" you know? :D

    Optimistic Pessimist.

I tend to see the difficulty in every opportunity and the oppurtunity in every difficulty. I day dream a lot and a few of my friends worry about me because its like I can be in one world at one moment and then another at the next. With optimism I encourage people and I'm known for helping others a lot.

Pessimist because of my moods more so. Again when I'm daydreaming I keep asking myself why? why this? why that? why this and not that? The list goes on and on. Like Nate_River said, we're all ****ed. One way or another.

But, then again, I am a realist. I see things the way they are, not the way they ought to be. However, it doesn't stop me from thinking what could be. I'm a realist to the point where I can't understand something. Like there are two sides to one story. Or both victims are at fault.

The glass is either half full or half empty. It honestly depends. In my opinion, the glass is doesn't exist.

I always thought of myself as a pessimistic who says half full before this post

I've always been pessimistic since I was 7 and now I know how I see my life

That'd probably be the engineer's choice lol. I swear I've heard someone say that to me before :3

Hmmm, I'd probably be a realist, tipping ever so slightly towards pessimist. For some odd reason, being that slight bit more pessimist helps to keep me grounded, cause if I get too optimistic I tend to make stupid mistakes. But then again, thats sorta the same if I get too pessimistic lol.

Optimist most of the time. Rareley pessimist. Realist only when I'm in school. Though I tend to be optimistic about anything at school.

That whole, "is the glass half empty or full" doesn't work with me. Either way I just drink it. I would fall under the realist category. I see things for what they actually are, but I still have hope in everything so I consider myself an optimist too. I'm not happy-go-lucky or anything, but I do tend to look on the bright side of things more often than not.

to me the glass is half full if i haven't taken a drink yet, and its half empty if i've taken a drink of it.

I'm pretty much Bipolar and I switch from being an Optimist and Pessimist. But I'm never a Pessimist about something that I'm a Optimistic about.
