Do you guys think this is worth buying at this price? I've thought of getting a Circle Pad Pro for my 3DS for some of my games, 2 of which are the only ones I could use for it, 1 of which is really the only one I need it for, but I can't really play it well otherwise, but is this too much either way? I don't even know if I'd get one anyways, but it'd be nice to know some opinions on whether or not it'd be worth it.

Edit: Well, looks like the Nintendo site has it for $20 less, so I'd probably get it from there it seems

You ever try playing with an N64 controller? Those things were built symmetrical but it was nearly impossible without holding it awkwardly. Better asymmetrical and playable then not

Yeah, we've all heard that fake feeling about the N64 controller off facebook.

Holding one right now and it's not awkward dude.

As for the circle pad, I honestly forgot it existed until now...

It is awkward. I don't know what you're holding, but what I grew up with was the most awkward controller I've ever felt, and I thought the Gamecube was a little strange as well. But I could never play any game on the N64 because of how weird that controller was because of the giant forks coming out of it on the bottom

Never personally found any of those discomforting. The Xbox controller has become a third hand for me at this point

I just don't understand how having three handles or having the two joysticks on different levels is comfortable

Well, you only use two handles. Usually middle and right. The grip on the right extends to the top so hand sliding is easier

Only posting because I see comments about the N64 controller being comfortable. Get off Earth you damn green-skinned aliens.

I liked the N64 controllers. I never really had to use the D Pad or L button for any of my games, so just holding middle and right worked rather well.

What does the Circle Pad Pro do anyways? It just looks like an extra joystick. Why do you need an extra joystick? Is it better? Can probably Google this, but I want an opinion.

DAMN IT MACHINA!! I THOUGHT I WAS OVER MY SORE THROAT AND HERE YOU ARE MAKING ME LAUGH SO HARD I CAUSE MY THROAT TO HURT AGAIN!! And I just got the taste of blood back too......I'm going to kill you
It's really just to add a second stick for lefthanded players, and is really mostly useful for Kid Icarus and Resident Evil. I figure since I have absolutely nothing to ask for for February, I'll just ask for this just because I have nothing else

But wouldn't left handed players already be used to having the stick on the left side? Wait, is the stick on the left for a reason? I thought having the stick on the left was just one of those "because it's what people are used to" things, like the qwerty keyboard. Is it there because it's easier to button press with the dominant hand and joystick with the non-dominant? I thought it was a learned behaviour.

Play Kid Icarus Uprising, be left-handed, and let me know how you feel afterwards. I've had trouble just playing up to chapter 9

Beat me too it. Granted to my knowledge it really only helps with camera controls on that one.
