Stephen sees Dein. "Hey." He starts to climb the tree.

 

"What's up?" Dein asked as he came up beside him.

 

"Nothing. You?"

 

"Tree..." Dein exclaimed thoughtfully. "it's peaceful..."

 

"Not that it is my buisness, but I think that Jamei kind of likes you."

 

"Wha?!?!" Dein exclaimed in surprise almost falling out of the tree... "I wa about to say the same thing to you... but we're both wrong, she has other things on her mind and doesn't have time for that kind of thing..."

 

"She doesn't like me. Trust me. I know."

 

"Perhaps..." Dein agreed. "Hey, how do you feel about Lara anyway

Jamei was just out of ear shot poking the fire, blissfully unaware of the two boys' convasation. Not that she would of really understood anyway. Jamei didn't quite 'get' the whole girl/boy thing, she knew the theory ie crushes, dating, attraction. Just not how it could apply to her, the memory loss had wiped a lot of things. Including that, she had the maturity of a 11 year old when it came to dating. It could happen, but, something would f*ck it up very quickley.

 

"We shouldn't be talking about her anyway..." Dein stated, jumping out of the tree. "Well, i'm off to try to write this damn book again!"

 

Jamei yawned sleepily and pulled the jumper tighter around her. It wasn't that cold anymore, it'd just become a habit. She smiled slightly as the firey flames slowly began to pick up again.

 

"Hey Jamei here!" Dein yelled over thrwing her a spare notebook. "You write something!"

 

"I can't write you jerk!" Jamei yelled throwing it back, the book had hit in the back of the head. She hadn't expected to get anything thrown at her anyway.

 

"Oh, write sorry..." Dein apologized. "But try, i mean it's just like reading but you're the one making the words"

 

"I still can't do it..." Jamei muttered angrily stabbing at the fire.

 

"Why don't you try?" Dein asked persistantly. "anyways the book and pen and stuff is over here if you want to try cya!"
he walked off into the forest...

 

"I have tried, it dosn't work... Can't get my hands to write what I want them to... And I can only just read anyway..." she continued mutter as he walked off.

 

"Writer's block!" Dein yelled back jockingly

 

"Not funny..." Jamei sighed.

 

Dein sat at the edge of the forest pen one aper glancing over at them every few seconds...
